I remember who wrote my fav fics, i really like your fic you know. Well, here comes the next update for all of you who follow my fic already.

Chapter 8:

Lindsay looked at Danny, he was still sound asleep next to her, even though he was probably supposed to be up and about by now.

She wanted to go to the lab too, she missed being there, but being 8½ month pregnant, she’d better stay at home.

Besides, she had quite some Christmas preparations to do, Christmas eve was in a week, and Mac and Stella were coming.

Lindsay knew, that it had been a month since the accident, but she still felt just as much guilt now, as she did then.

“Wake up Danny. You’ll be late for work.” She laughed by the look on his face especially when he realised that she was just joking about with him.

“I’m glad to see you’ve had your good mood back Montana.” He kissed her, let his fingers run down her tummy, carefully caressing her around her bellybutton.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Rocking around the Christmas tree…”

Mac woke up by the sound of singing from the living room, he swore, Stella’s Christmas spirit was driving him nuts.

He went out of bed and quickly jumped in some clothes, before he headed to the living room to find Stella walking around, adding the latest addition of Christmas ornaments to the already over decorated apartment.

“Morning Mac.” She smiled as she went and kissed him, Smack, right on his lips.

“You are awfully cheery, especially considering that you are going to the hospital today.” He laughed, so did Stella.
“Is that illegal?” She looked at him, he smirked before he kissed her again, he was so happy when he was with her, but the fact that that happiness could end anytime was still tearing him apart.

Stella obviously noticed that he was sad again, as she held her arms around him, and rested her head on his shoulder, like a dog would’ve done.

Aww thanks, im glad you like my fic :)

I love the smacked moments, Im sure Stella will be able to enjoy christmas, right?!?

Well, last update tonight, I'll see you guys in the morning.. :D

Chapter 9:

“I’m afraid there’s no change in your condition Stella, well that can be both good and bad, it haven’t changed to the worse, but not to the better either.” Dr. Carter had a compassioned look in his eyes, when he continued.

“I’m going to be honest with you Stella, I fear, that you don’t have much time left.” He looked at her, Stella felt a tear trying to run down her cheek, but she struggled to hold it back.

“I understand.” She nodded slowly before she got up and left the office, to meet Mac in the hallway, feeling him wrap his arms around her, made her let go and let the tears run.

He didn’t say a word, he just held her close, stroked her hair, she was so scared, the truth and consequences of her condition was once again painfully clear.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Can I come with you to the lab Mac?” Stella looked at him, she wanted to see the lab, and all the people there again, knowing that her time was closing in.

“Sure, but promise me to take it easy okay?” he smiled, a vague smile, things had been very difficult since she was at the hospital the day before.

“Okay.” She kissed him, but still thinking about the fact, that every kiss could be the last.

She kissed him again, just wishing that it would never end, that she wouldn’t be gone soon, and that he wouldn’t be in pain, and feel all alone.

He took her hand as they walked to the car, they’d better get to the lab soon.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Hey Stella, it’s nice to see you.” Sid smiled, compassioned, but nervously, just like everyone else.

“Hey Sid.” Stella hugged him, she felt the sadness fill her heart again. Knowing that everyone was worrying about her, preparing to say goodbye, it was something she just couldn’t handle.

Feeling her tears land on his shoulder, Sid stroked her back, “What are we going to do without you Stella?”

Stella just couldn’t keep her self together anymore, she chose just to let go and let her self fall, then she was sitting at the floor, not feeling any better at all.

“I’m so scared Sid.” The tears were streaming down her cheeks, even though she had promised herself to be strong, she had to let the pain go.

“It’s okay Stella, it’s okay.” Sids comforting whisper made her feel a little better, but she was still anxious.

“I don’t want to die!” Her words were almost strangled by her tears, but the panic were still loud and clear.

“I know Stella.” Sid still held his arms tight around her, obviously knowing that she needed a friend right now.

Wow, that brought a tear to my eyes :)

Writing it actually made me cry like a waterfall, which was pretty embarrassing, as i was writing it during my english class this morning. oops.. :D

Well, I'll be updating again in the morning. Goodnight peeps. Sleep tight.

Wow, you updated so fast! :)

Feeling the softness of his lips touch hers, she was filled with a warm feeling of love, but in between all the happiness, there was one thought that wouldn’t leave her mind, because of her heart, she would never get to feel his love.
She is already feeling his love. :adore: There would be no regret even though she has to leave at last.

“I’m so scared Sid.” The tears were streaming down her cheeks, even though she had promised herself to be strong, she had to let the pain go.
Sid's like a father to Stella. She could be tough in front of the others. She doesn't need to withhold herself in front of Sid. It's good for her, mentally and physically.

Oh, EgleBarn, how many times you want to make us cry in a day?

I'm not sure how many times I'll have you peeps crying, depends on how you think of my story, well, I'm of for class, but i'll just leave an update for you before i go.

Chapter 10:

“What happened?” Mac heard the fear in his own voice as he looked from Sid to Stella, who was laying at the floor, trying heard to breathe.

“She collapsed, passed out for a second, before she hyperventilated, the ambulance is on its way.” Sid looked at Mac, with a compassioned look on his face.

“Stella it’s okay, just remember to breathe, slowly.” Mac stroked the hair of the woman he so deeply loved.

Stella grabbed his hand, held on tight, he looked her in the eyes, not knowing whether she was going to…

He couldn’t get himself to think the thought through, what if he was actually losing her now?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“I think it’s best if she stays at the hospital, her heart is barely fighting on, I’m sorry to say, that I think you should prepare yourself to say goodbye.” Dr. Carter looked at him, Mac felt a stinging pain in his heart, knowing that he would have to say goodbye to Stella, his Stella, the only Stella.

Detective Stella Bonasera, a true hero.

“How long?” Mac looked at the doctor, knowing that the anxiety, pain, sorrow, anger, all his mixed feelings was shining from his eyes.

“A couple of days, maybe a whole week, it’s hard to tell.” Dr. Carter had a compassioned look in his eyes. “I know it wont help much, on the pain you are feeling right now, but Stella is strong, she surprised me a lot, by hanging on so far.”

“Thanks, can I go see her?” Mac looked away, feeling the tears sting in his eyes.

“Of course you can, she’s very tired, but I’m sure she needs you there right now.” Dr. Carter smiled compassionately before he left the waiting room to go see other patients.

Mac took a deep breath before he walked down the ward, feeling his heart explode with emotions he knocked at the door to the room he knew was Stellas.

“Are you feeling better love?” Mac smiled vaguely, tried to find some comfort in himself, that he could pass on to Stella.

“I don’t know Mac, Dr. Carter said that… that this is it.” There was an anxious look on her face, of course there was, she had just been told that she had a week left, tops.

He went to her side and sat down next to her on the bed, held his arms around her, without saying a word.

They don't need words to express themselves. They know how the other feels in every eye contact, every touch.
