Chapter 28:
“Adam?” Rebecca felt her heart beat fast, she had no idea how he was going to react on this one.
“Yea?” He smiled, they were sitting in the couch, watching a cute movie, holding each other, like they so often did, she really loved him, no doubt about that.
“You really like Stella don’t you?” She smiled, Adam had a confused look on his face.
”Of course I do…”
“What would you say, if I said, that we were going to have one of our own?” Her smile changed to a nervous expression.
“You are? We are? A baby?” He smiled as she nodded, then he kissed her carefully.
”A little baby.” She confirmed smiling.
”Wow, that’s… it’s… sudden… I mean…. You think I could be a dad? A good one? What if I hurt the baby?” Adam was babbling about every little detail, like he always did.
“Of course you’ll make a great dad Adam.” She looked him in the eyes as he took a deep breath.
”I’m going to be a dad!” He cried, he actually cried, “A daddy!” He hugged her, just held on tight, she was so glad that he didn’t back away from her.

Lindsay heard her daughter scream, and got up instantly to go check on her, while Lindsay was on her way to Stella’s room, it seemed that Stella was calming down a bit.
As Lindsay opened the door, she was sure she saw a woman, surrounded by a golden glow, stand by her daughters bed, stroking the little girls cheek.
Lindsay rubbed her eyes, as she noticed the curls, she first thought she was dreaming, the woman, Stella, turned her head and looked Lindsay straight in the eyes, there was a purity about her eyes, that made Lindsay believe that this wasn’t a dream.
Even though Lindsay didn’t believe in angels, she was sure that Stella’s angel was standing by the bed.
Stella smiled at Lindsay, but just like that, she fainted and disappeared.
Lindsay looked at her daughter, who was now, sleeping calmly, without any fear, just sleeping peacefully.
Lindsay went back to her own bed, where she kept thinking about what had just happened, could Stella really have been there? Or was she just being silly?
