Some fresh blood is turning up on CSI: NY.

Ex-Dawson's Creeker Kerr Smith and Shark's Bess Wohl are joining the cast as recurring players this season.

Smith, last seen in Fox's short-lived Justice, will play Drew Becker, an expert in forged documents and a love interest for Stella (Melina Kanakaredes). "Well, he pretends to be an expert in forged documents," clarifies executive producer Pam Veasey. "He has a mysterious background that we are slowly developing. He's a love interest who has an ulterior motive."

Meanwhile, Wohl, who, in addition to a two-episode stint on Shark has guest-starred on Cold Case and Ghost Whisperer, will play a new lab tech and a good friend of Adam's (AJ Buckley).

I know everything in this thread is speculation based on information that may or may not appear on the show. Therefore I am boldly stating that I am excited for S4. I'm not sure if that makes me an optimist, a masochist, or certifiably insane; but I don't care. I'm excited to see what's gonna happen, damnit!

Why do I have a sinking feeling I'm gonna end up eating those words? :(

From Kristin at EOnline

"New York-Style Nooky: I've got good news for all you Danny and Lindsay fans out there: I hear there's plenty of romance to look forward to next season on CSI: NY. Also, office romance though it is, the relationship will not be kept a secret, which is not to say they‘ll be swapping spit at work (contaminates the evidence, you know…) but even though the show won‘t be making "that big a deal" of it at first, they will be together."

:)
Thank you for posting that imaguestage !!!!!
I'm really looking forward to season 4 with all these spoilers! And plenty of romance for D/L..this just gets better! ;)

Yep, I'm now having an afternoon snack as we speak.

ETA: This board is in desperate need of a good vomiting smiley.

1) The casting of Stella's love interest was done horribly -- yuck! I remember watch Kerr on "Justice" last season and while I admit I loved the show, I hated his character because he was just horrible at the part. And not to mention, this guy is like 15 years younger then Stella (in looks).

2) D/L romance? Puhleze. Eww.

what do you all think of flack and his fairly hairy chest. i dont mind and im sure he will show his scar. it will make him look even more sxc.

I really liked Smith on Justice (I loved the whole show, I still can't understand why it got cancelled), but he a love interest for Stella? How old is he?

OMG Kerr Smith for Stella? I'm not too sure how I feel about that. I haven't seen him in anything recent but I have horrid memories from his Dawson's Creek days.

the guy on tv guide Ausiello said he has good news for D/L, he said to read his board August 1 and he has some good spoilers well that is what he said. Yes for D and L. I am glad that D will not cheat on L, that would really be stupid of the writers to do so, plus Danny would be really critized for it. there is a petition going around I do not remember the website and there are over 800 signatures for Danny and Lindsay to continue their relationship. I am for them.

Wasn't Kerr Smith in an episode of CSI: Miami? I thought he was great in Charmed but I don't watch Dawson's Creek so I have no idea what he was like in that. :D
