I got a link from the latest CSI Files news article about Second Life, and it has some spoilers for "Down the Rabbit Hole" and the Second Life tie-in.

It will happen just in time for the Grammys and will incorporate an as-yet unsigned rock star, who will not only play a role on "CSI" and help catch the killer, but will also perform a concert in Second Life.

Though the Second Life arc ends in February, CBS could extend it if it's successful.

Another spoiler alert: The day after the killer is captured, the Second Life jail that's holding the suspect blows up and the killer gets away, potentially setting up another chapter in the story.

I really hope Zuiker logs on to his precious Second Life CSI: NY jail or whatever only to be greeted by two avatars of furry Danny fucking a furry Josh Harnett because nobody figured out how to make a good avatar of a furry version of Eddie Cahill.

You guys want major lolz about the whole Zuiker and Second Life thing?

It seems Second Life is like a clone of the SIMS that's over ten years old and is rumored to be a habitual place for furries and pedos. Oh, great. (You can hear the sarcasm in my voice, right?)

I think the following comment sums it up pretty well:

Big-budget / big-name companies come in, expect it to be the next big, "cool" thing that boosts their sales or ratings, realize that the physics, graphics and scalability are for shit, and then leave their plots of "land" empty.

When you have teenagers saying that it's gonna be crap, THERE IZ PROBLEMZ.

If you are talking about season 4 it wont air in the UK untill February. Once the season 3 re runs finish thats around when season 4 will re appear on Saturday.
 
I gotta admit, I'd never heard of Second Life before I heard about this episode. I've heard of the SIMS because I knew someone who did it, but I gotta say, I've never quite seen the appeal. And while it seems like it could be an interesting aspect for one episode, I hope we don't see it going on and on and on.... Already the killer escaping at the end of one episode to be caught in a later episode sounds a lot like "Hung Out to Dry"/"Raising Shane." Those eps were fantastic, but we don't need v. 2.0 the very next season.

Me neither. :confused: I think we all heard about the SIMS, and the SIMS happen to be way easier on the eye than this thingy. :p


New promo. This supposed to be the promo for episode 404? Looks more like a 333 promo to me.
 
It seems to me like quality is being sacrificed for special effects and technology so far this season. They should just change the name of the show to "CSI: Smoke and Mirrors."
 
I'd never heard of Second Life before either, I don't believe. I might play the facial reconstruction game or something, but I doubt I'll become an avid 'Second Lifer' as they say. :p

Since this is the 1003rd post in there, I opened a new spoiler thread. :)
