I have heard of IPhones, but I really don't know what the difference is between them and other phones. What features do they have?

It's a cell phone, iPod and internet browser all rolled into one. Check it out here. I suggest you watch the guided tour. I hope this helps. :)

iPhones? *is jealous*

cute bear btw, didcha donnie find it already or danny stole it from macky to cuddle? :p
i heard that there's a lot of sides of mac coming out soon... not to mention more adam... any more news?

I loved the interview with Lenkov. Kudos to Top for doing a great job as usual.

I found what he said to be encouraging. The relationships not beeing what they appear to be on the surface. More action. Love for Adam and Sid. Love for Hawkes. Development of Lindsay beyond her relationship with Danny. Exploring different sides of Mac. Getting to see a personal side of Flack. Stella's storyline with the new guy not sounding like Frankie 2.0. It's enough to revive a girl's enthusiasm for S4.

As much as I've said how much I detest Lindsay and that her character can't be redeemed, Lenkov makes me almost want to give her another chance by saying she will be developed as a independent character. The Halloween episode with Danny and Lindsay sounds promising. I think it could end up being a lot of fun to watch. However when Lenkov says, "I think she's a strong character. I think she showed some real strength last year as well as vulnerability," my willingness to eat my former words drops considerably.

I like that he said people from the show go to multiple web sites to see fan reaction, and then clarified that doing so does not influence the direction of the show.

What he said about about Carmine disturbed me. I felt like he thinks we all would rather see Danny naked than have his character developed. I also felt he thinks we all think getting Carmine naked is more important than Carmine having any kind of acting ability. Yes, on this site we make a lot of posts about the hotness of Carmine/Danny. Hell, this site even sent Lenkov a wonderful poster with all our comments. We've also made a lot of comments about Carmine's acting ability and that it, along with most of the development of Danny as a character is more important than said hotness of either. Hell, this site also organized a letter writing campaign to get CBS to submit him for consideration for an EMMY nomination. Maybe I'm overreacting, but it just felt to me like Lenkov was generalizing too much. It also felt like maybe he doesn't quite get the humor that some intend when talking about said hotness, and that he could think we all would rather have Danny/Carmine stand around naked and mute in every scene. Plus it seemed like he intentionally went that route with the answer, because the question had nothing to do with Carmine as a sex symbol or the deliberate use of him in that capacity. I found the response and it's tone insulting, to be honest.

I don't want to end this on a down note, so I'll say that overall I loved the interview and am really interested as to how things go this season.

ETA: I didn't get to hear the interview with Lenkov, obviously. It could be that for me personally, what he said about the whole acting and story vs. sex symbol and nudity thing just didn't translate well into print. The way I read it, there was an underlying tone of educating fans on what was more important.

I read it differently, I'm sure he appreciates the discussion of Carmine's hotness and messages of thanks to him for providing the writing behind it with the humour with which it is intended. The acting is always the main thing, although even I wouldn't say no to seeing the occassional glimpse of arm porn. ;) Plus I really like the idea of more Danny physical stuff and him in tough situation, which he really can do so well.

The interview did provide some interesting responses. This Amityville episode I'm really not sure about though. Somehow, even though he said it was 'horror', all I can think of is the Simpsons Halloween specials (and that is not a good thing!). Zombies? In CSI:NY?

I loved the interview with Peter, and kudos to Top for providing us with an in-depth, well rounded read! :)

It did quite a bit to restore my faith and enthusiasm for S4, too - something that I had definitely started losing some interest in. Very psyched that he mentioned more Adam (loving the plotline with Adam helping Mac in the internet case!) and Hawkes, Flack, and that the romance spoilers aren't necessarily what they seem (thank goodness!!! ) And finally, a huge sigh of relief that he mentioned furthuring Lindsay's development beyond Danny's sidekick - and that those two won't exactly be settling down, moving in together and having babies any time soon  *whew*

I think the Halloween episode sounds intriguing, especially them being able to debunk a few of the sillier Amityville myths, satisfies me that it won't be too corny-spooky, just mysterious-spooky, which is fine by me.

Aww, Top, many thankies for the interview.......I can't say that I'm looking forwards to the Halloween epi much...I ain't much of a Lindsay fan...(really?...lol) The way everyone connected with the show's writing and production that we've heard from enthuses about her wonderful acting skills and strengths really does leave me scratching my head and asking WTF???? As for the Carmine flashing skin topic...he's a writer and as a writer his main concern is for the storyline and not the amount of flesh shown.....which we have to admit he does give us in bite sized chunks.......

There's not really a great amount he can say in an interview without giving everything away...I found that it gave us a glimpse of season 4 and I for one, have to admit that the 'dont read to much into the relationships' statement left me a little happier....

Thanks, guys! I'm glad you liked the interview! It was a really fun one to do.

Eh, well, I guess we'll see. I'm in the same boat as you--skeptical, but cautiously optimistic.

I like that he said people from the show go to multiple web sites to see fan reaction, and then clarified that doing so does not influence the direction of the show.

It's always baffled me that people think stuff on fansites is going to influence the writers' direction. I wasn't surprised that he clarified, though, since there are a lot of people out there who seem to believe that. It really is all about what the network wants, unfortunately in a lot of cases...

I think he knows that, and I did mention that to him as well--that a lot of the reason people like Danny so much and find him so attractive is Carmine's talent. (I don't include everything I say to the person when I do an interview, btw, because I figure people are reading to learn what the person being interviewed has to say, not to read what I'm going on about, other than the questions. ) But I did make that point, and I think he was aware of it.

I think it's more along the lines that he's trying to say he's not just exploiting Carmine for the ratings. I, uh, also added that he shouldn't really feel the need to defend himself on that front--no one's exactly up in arms about it.

ETA: I didn't get to hear the interview with Lenkov, obviously. It could be that for me personally, what he said about the whole acting and story vs. sex symbol and nudity thing just didn't translate well into print. Tone can be hard to judge in print. I see how it could come off that way, but that definitely wasn't the tone in his voice when we were speaking. He seems genuinely grateful for what the fans say and I imagine since he's reading here, he knows about the quality of the commentary here.

Super big thanks for the interview. I am overly excited for S4 now, I don't know how I will be able to contain myself. And then I realized I might have an addiction when hearing about the Halloween episode and thinking, "how can I possibly go out now and miss that?!"

The Halloween episode sounds so fun. I gotta say, I really enjoyed the two Miami Halloween eps, "Hell Night" and "The Curse of the Coffin." That stuff is just fun. I bet the NY one will be great!

I should have recognized the name from being a Tracker fan and it does ring a vague bell, now I know why lol

I don't pick up on them thinking we want Danny naked...can someone elaborate on that for me?

It was helpful. Now I understand why everyone wants one. It will probably eventually replace the regular cell phone.

That makes me feel a lot better. Thanks for the clarification. And apologies to Mr. Lenkov for jumping to conclusions. I think what threw me was the question being about Danny seeing more action and the bulk of the response being about story and acting vs. sex symbol and nudity. It did not compute.

Great interview - thanks Top! I'm also hopeful re Season 4 as it sounds a lot like they realise there were glitches and are trying to put them right especially re continuity (thanks for talking to him about the lack of continuity for Flack after CoTP - that was a real bug-bear and it was great they tried to introduce some continuity in People with Money but that unfortunately it got cut)

Hopefully we will see the continuity fairy dropping by NY soon! ;)
