Episode 8.11 - Untitled thus far

-Serial rapist breaks into women's homes, brutalizes them and then...makes them cook his breakfast. Soon, the suspect escalates and murders a young television host.

-Eric Delko (Adam Rodriguez) appears in this episode as a forensics expert working for the defense, which adds tension between him and Calleigh as his testimony contradicts that of CSI.

This and more information, courtesy of delkolover.

Also, news on why Adam really left the show and some minor spoilers concering the 11th episode from TVGuide.

Adam’s time on CSI: Miami isn’t over yet. He’s grateful to return in late October to shoot the fourth of seven remaining episodes that tie up Eric’s relationship with Calleigh (Emily Procter) this season. When Delko reappears, he will be pitted against his old coworkers as a forensics expert in a high-profile murder case. “We’ll leave it open-ended in case there are some story lines down the road they want to bring me back for.” Would he be open to returning as a series regular next season, à la CSI’s Jorja Fox? The actor would take it into “serious consideration,” but says now, “I’m enjoying seeing what else is out there.”

Thanks delkolover.

Episode 8.12 'Phoenix in the Fire'

~~ A young star by the name of Phoenix bursts into flames & drops dead while performing in a concert. The case leads the team to a shady Doctor who prescribed numerous medications to the star, which then leads them to discover that the victim was not the real Phoenix (aka Penny Jarrett), but a double, named Vanessa. The team must find who murdered Vanessa all the while search for Penny who is missing & in danger.

~~ Jesse's "past" also sneaks in a bit in this one. Calleigh is suspicious that he is hiding something, claiming he's acted mysterious since his return. I don't have any details as to what he does in the episode (Ellay &/or Delkolover might have more to provide), but apparently he & Calleigh have a brief arguement which leads to her suspicion.

~~ Calleigh seems to be a focal point in the episode, though the actual events revolve around Penny's storyline, & don't directly involve Calleigh. She seems to bond with Penny, & there were slight references & parallels that gave me the impression that she's possibly contemplating (or coming to some kind of realization) a few things herself, possibly career-wise. Definitly got a sense of foreshadowing, but cannot pinpoint exactly what from just reading. This is one you all will have to wait & see & use your own judgement.

~~ Dave Benton is in the episode, as well as ME Tom Loman.

Thanks mjszud!

CSI: Miami - Episode 8.14 - In the Wind

When doubt is cast on his murder conviction, a man receives a 24 hour stay of execution -- very little time for Horatio and the team to reaffirm his guilt -- or establish his innocence...
More info on 'In The Wind'

In this ep the man is about to be executed and from what I could gather this case was one Jesse worked over 15 years ago when he was originally in Miami.

James is on death row for the vicious murder of his wife and two children, a thrid child, Todd survived the attacked. I am not really too sure how the team ends up reinvestigating the case but there is definately doubt that James committed the murders 15 years ago. It turns out his wife Sarah, was having an affair and that her lover was in the house that night.

Eric is in the episode....it seems he is once again an independent forensic contractor. He works with the team to get to the truth to see if James has been telling the truth all this time that he didn't kill his family or in fact he has spun a web of lies which has the team chasing their tails.

For those of you who have wondered where Kyle has gone to...ep 814 explains it! Turns out Kyle has enlisted and is overseas (idk if he is in Afghanistan or Iraq) figting for our country!! At one point in the ep H talks to him over the computer and Kyle describes what it is like to be over there.

AUTEUR, FILMMAKER AND ROCK MUSICIAN ROB ZOMBIE TO DIRECT AN EPISODE OF "CSI: MIAMI," TO BE BROADCAST MONDAY, MARCH 1

Show Marks the Director's First Foray Into Television

Filmmaker and musician Rob Zombie will bring his unique style of filmmaking to an episode of CSI: MIAMI, to be broadcast Monday, March 1 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The episode marks Zombie's television directorial debut.

In the episode, the CSI team discovers that a listening device has been covertly planted at a crime scene, capturing a terrifying soundtrack of the murder and, possibly, the voice of the killer. However, when it's revealed that the bug was planted by the team's own Jesse Cardoza (Eddie Cibrian), the State's Attorney tosses the taped evidence and uncovers accusations of evidence tampering by Jesse on a murder case in Los Angeles. With the integrity of his team at stake, Horatio Caine (David Caruso) and Eric Delko (Adam Rodriguez) travel to Los Angeles to investigate and clear Jesse's name. While in Los Angeles, Horatio find himself face-to- face with secrets from Jesse's past and a dangerous element within the LAPD.

"As writers, we were really pushing to create an interesting backdrop that could lend to Rob Zombie's visual style," says Marc Dube, co-executive producer. "We thought opening the episode at a macabre party, with Miami attendees all wearing stylized masks (a la "Eyes Wide Shut") would be a fun kick-off point for Rob to do what he does best: conveying the cruel and creepy underbelly of humanity."

"I am very excited to be working on a show that has such an intense and unique visual angle on the classic crime drama formula and look forward to putting my own bizarre stamp on the world of CSI: MIAMI," says Zombie.

A prolific musician, Zombie has multiple gold and platinum records, sales of over 15 million albums worldwide, and has directed over 25 music videos. His next album, "Hellbilly Deluxe 2," will be released on Feb. 2nd. His re-imagining of "Halloween" claimed the highest-grossing Labor Day weekend opening ever, followed by the 2009 success of "Halloween 2." His film accomplishments also include the critically acclaimed "The Devil's Rejects" and the cult classic "House of 1000 Corpses." Zombie has made a distinct mark in the music and film worlds with his uniquely sinister point of view that has resulted in success in both arenas.
