We're finally going to do it," CSI executive producer Carol Mendelsohn tells TV Guide Magazine exclusively. The upcoming triple crossover will find Langston delving into the dangerous world of human trafficking. Says Mendelsohn, "Langston and the CSI teams will uncover a nationwide network of sexual slavery and prostitution, which exploits long-haul truckers to distribute its human chattel and dispose of its casualties."

Medical Examiner cast in CSI:Miami.

Christian Clemenson has joined CBS’ “CSI: Miami” in a recurring role. He will play a medical examiner for at least two episodes.

Clemenson won an Emmy in 2006 for his guest role on “Boston Legal” playing a lawyer with Asperger syndrome.

He is managed by Marshak Zachary and Shadow Entertainment and repped by Stone Manners.

From Ausiello:

Question: CSI: Miami scoop, please! —Jordan
Ausiello: Delko was originally going to turn up dead in the season premiere. It’s true! When Adam Rodriguez failed to come to terms on a new contract over the summer, CBS allegedly recommended that producers simply write it in that Delko didn’t survive last May’s cliffhanger. “But I wasn’t comfortable with that,” says Rodriguez. “And I spoke to [exec producer] Ann Donahue and she wasn’t comfortable about this either; we really wanted to make sure that the character had a proper sendoff. So she petitioned CBS to make this work.” Now Rodriguez will return for a total of 10 episodes (not the seven I reported last week), during which he’ll change professions and sort out his complicated relationship with Calleigh. “Like any great love story, I don’t know that the books will ever be closed on them,” says Rodriguez of Calleighko. Housekeeping note: Rodriguez has shot three of his 10 Miami episodes so far. He’ll juggle the remaining seven with his five-episode arc on Ugly Betty.

Thanks delkolover for the heads-up!

CSIFiles news: 'Miller Becomes a Series Regular on Miami'

As CSI Files previously reported, executive producer Ann Donahue stated that CSI: Miami would be adding two series regulars during season eight: Eddie Cibrian and Omar Benson Miller. Cibrian first appeared in the season premiere, "Out of Time", as Jesse Cardoza. Miller will make his first appearance on the show in the October 5 episode, "Bolt Action"

Miller will playWalter Simmons, a man who transfers to Horatio’s team from the night shift. The character is from Louisiana, and he is an art theft specialist. Miller was originally added as a guest star, but the network recently picked him up as a series regular.

TVGuide: 'Cheryl Ladd Heats Up CSI:Miami

By William Keck

Cheryl Ladd made boys swoon in her tiny bikini during the opening credits of Charlie’s Angels. Now she’s back on the beach in the October 5 episode of CSI: Miami.

Still stunning at 58, Cheryl plays Amanda Collins—a cougar out to seduce surfer boys—and new series regular (and LeAnn Rimes squeeze) Eddie Cibrian. “Eddie and I have an homage to Mrs. Robinson—and it’s hot! I’m getting paid to kiss cute boys,” coos Cheryl, who landed the sultry role after meeting Miami star Eva La Rue at TV Guide Magazine’s Sexiest Stars party last spring. (Do we get a casting fee?) “Eva was so enthusiastic about having me, and I jumped at the chance.”

In real life, Cheryl describes herself as “the antithesis” of a cougar. Married to husband Brian Russell for 28 years, she’s also had a longtime crush on John Forsythe (her former Charlie), now 91 and Cheryl’s neighbor up north of Santa Barbara. “I saw him two weeks ago and his wife, Nicole, is making his life as fun and exciting as it can possibly be.”

Thanks mjszud.
