Re: CSI: Miami Season 6 **Spoiler Lab** #3-Proceed With Caut

Originally the article seemed to connect it to some case involving credit cards. Maybe people are having plastic surgery to look like dead people and steeling their identity. It would be an extreme case of identity theft.

Re: CSI: Miami Season 6 **Spoiler Lab** #3-Proceed With Caut

REALITY CHECK:
This is CSI: Miami we're talking about here.
Remember Ann Donohue??? Remember this little gem of a false spoiler she gave TV Guide about the season 5 finale???
"Horatio almost dies!"
Remember it never happened??? It's took me from the middle of season 4 till the night the season 5 finale aired to learn to take the spoilers with a HUGE grain of salt. But I am making a BIG effort to not get too excited. I'm just gonna wait and see what happens.
I do hope Horatio finds out he has a son. As far as this Speedle business is concerned, well...I think it'll just be some actor who resembles Rory Cochrane and it'll turn out the actor's character resembles Speedle.
I can give you an example of seeing someone who resembles a deceased friend or family member. My half-brother died in March 2004. As recently as earlier this month, I've seen fellows in the mall and at Wal-Mart and K-Mart and Target who from the side or the front or the back or from a distance looked like my half-brother. That may be what this'll turn out to be. Someone who knew Tim Speedle will see someone who looks alot like Speedle. And it'll turn out the guy who looks alot like Speedle is involved in some scheme using credit cards with dead people's names on them.
Well, that's my take on all this.
NEXT!!!

Re: CSI: Miami Season 6 **Spoiler Lab** #3-Proceed With Caut

I wondered why the Spoiler Lab topic had increased in two whole pages in 24 hours hours....and click to see 'Rory Cochrane to return to Miami' No Bloody Wonder.

I've always said if he came back my selfish love of Speedle/Rory Cochrane would always trump the credibility of the storyline. If it makes me a bad Miami fan in some peoples eyes then so be it :p

I can put up with any storyline if it can bring Tim back. But if it was done well and in a believeable way then it was be fanfrickintastic :D

I will also take this oppertunity to eat my words as I've always said Hell would freeze over before Rory would return to Miami

*edited to add come more info*

I tell you I'm like a dog with an oversized bone when I want to know something  I found some more tidbits about Rorys return here

Other CBS stars were on hand to chat about the upcoming fall season and other dish.

Got a scoop from Adam Rodriguez, whose character Eric was seriously wounded last season on CSI: Miami. "What I can tell you about me [still] being alive...is that it's going to leave us a lot of room to play with this season."

Rodriguez teased that a character from the past is returning for season six. "It's going to surprise a lot of people and delight them as well. [It's] a character that's been gone for several years and no one is expecting to see."

I know I'm not expecting to see Kim Delaney back as DNA specialist Megan Donner. Maybe it's her? Hmm...

Back From The Dead? Rory Cochrane Returns To CSI: Miami:

After the initial huh? How can this be? It appears fan favorite Tim Speedle is back. Obviously we will try to get a LOT more information on this but multiple sources are confirming that Rory Cochrane is returning to CSI: Miami. He makes his return from the "dead" in the second episode of the upcoming season. So is he back from the dead? Playing a brand new character? Stay tuned for more information.

Re: CSI: Miami Season 6 **Spoiler Lab** #3-Proceed With Caut

When I first read that stuff I was like "WTF?"!! only b/c the only way I can see them bringing Speed back w/o making this show a soap opera is for him to be a ghost or in flashbacks. The whole evil twin thing or even twin thing would be bleh.

So I am not getting my hopes up too much about this. I really get the feeling, from Adam, that Eric is going to start hallucinating that he is talking and seeing Speed. That is the only thing I can come up with; especially after reading Adam's quote.

Re: CSI: Miami Season 6 **Spoiler Lab** #3-Proceed With Caut

I would not have a problem with Eric seeing and talking to a dead Speed. They may never let us know if he is hallucinating or actually interacting with dead Speed. That would be ok with me. This is a fictional television show. It isn't a documentary. Even in the real world there have been events that haven't been explained.

Back from the dead? They're kidding, right? They probably won't, but if they do make Speed come back from the dead, they've got to be crazy to think people would accept that and believe it.

Re: CSI: Miami Season 6 **Spoiler Lab** #3-Proceed With Caut

Nothing that it wasn't done before,on "NYPD Blue" Bobby Simone was a ghost that gave advice to Andy Sipowicz after his character died seasons before.

Anyway is pathetic.

Re: CSI: Miami Season 6 **Spoiler Lab** #3-Proceed With Caut

wow, after reading all of this all i can imagine is Eric wondering around the lab aimlessly w/ Speed miniature sized sitting on his shoulder dressed as an angel- sorry, i can't help but find humor in it somewhere... not quite sure how to take his return. they seem to be giving ALOT away really early on. im really just hoping they'll have him back in flashbacks. that'd be the logical thing to do. ...however...suppose Speed is H's son! the epi when he died was titled "lost son"....hmm

Re: CSI: Miami Season 6 **Spoiler Lab** #3-Proceed With Caut

I could handle the flashback/hallucination scenerio...Eric did have a head injury and those do strange things. I don't think he should really come back, despite my love of Cainesugar's fic, (though what would *you* make of a faked death?)but I've seen shows do ghost stuff before too...Due South was one but then in that one only three people could see Robert, his son, his daughter and his BFF. I think Providence did a ghost-ish type thing too but I've forgotten.

Anyhow, I just hope whatever they do is realistic cause Miami tends to get soapy enough without dead characters living again.

*can't go by her other shows, no one ever seemed to die for real in the BuffyAngelverse and HL...ooh maybe he's an immortal lol j/k*

Re: CSI: Miami Season 6 **Spoiler Lab** #3-Proceed With Caut

Rory's coming back!?!? *SQUEEEEEEEE* when i saw they said that Rory was going to guest star, i thought they were going to show him in flash backs but i read on and when i found out he's coming back in the flesh i started *squeeing* my head off!!!!! YAY!!!!!!! i just hope this isn't one of Donahue's little tricks again. i don't want a repeat of the "Horatio almost dies" thing, expecting this awesome seat gripping, heart pounding, tear jerking episode and then get nothing! if it is i'm going to give her a piece of my mind! but i'm remaining optimistic in my hopes that Speed is alive.

Re: CSI: Miami Season 6 **Spoiler Lab** #3-Proceed With Caut

So, how do you think Rory Cochrane will return?

Re: CSI: Miami Season 6 **Spoiler Lab** #3-Proceed With Caut

I really hate it when spoiler sites say 'back from the dead' because that's not what they mean at all. Granted because of the phrasing, it's making this seem very unrealistic. What they mean is he 'didn't die in the first place'. My entire family has been confused about that and I've tried explaining it to them over and over again. Blah.

Like some have said, it's good to take these spoilers with a light heart and not to give into them too much, but it seems as though Rory will actually be back for a couple of episodes. I think since it's extremely unlikely that he's playing his 'twin brother' (Because I would switch the channel right away) it'll either be something a bit more tangible like flashbacks, sightings (in which it would make sense to just actually use him for it) or they might just pull the whole 'oh by the way, he didn't actually die' and then try to explain their way out of that one. I'm also having problems with this 'look-a-like' business. If they go down that road, I'll explode.

June's tidbit was interesting though about the cast talking about season six and having a character return, so I'd like to take their statements with a grain of truth but it'll mostly likely play out differently than they're saying. Kind of like what Carolyn said about Ann Donahue and her out-right false spoiler. It would disappoint me to no end if this was the case.

I'm totally getting that there's a lot of humour to be exposed in this because Speed is 'dead' but I can see ways they could make it work. Kind of how some of us crazed Speed fans said three years ago - "Something just seemed fishy about the whole thing" :p But that's because some were still very upset. I don't know, I'm just speculating because I'm trying to make sense of it but I'm still reminded that this is post season two. So it won't make sense.

Fangirl moment: Maha, I liked how that one article called him a 'fan favorite'.

Re: CSI: Miami Season 6 **Spoiler Lab** #3-Proceed With Caut

yeah that whole thing was very fishy. especially during the autopsy. when they showed the side view of Alexx running the scapel over his chest, there isn't an incision(sp?) and afterwards they sort of blurred the background while Alexx cut into him so you couldn't tell if she really did or not. plus if you look closely when H is talking to Stetler and you see Alexx examining Speed on the floor you can see him briefly breathe before Alexx lifts up his shirt to look at the wound. so i think it's either a cover up or he's in witness protection for some reason.

Re: CSI: Miami Season 6 **Spoiler Lab** #3-Proceed With Caut

Dynamo, why isn't vampire included in your poll?

As a HUGE Speed fan, I'm excited about these spoilers... however, it does concern me as well. For several reasons. If it's a lie, or untrue in anyway, I will, of course be really upset. I don't want him to come back as anything supernatural (and I don't really believe he will), because that's not what this show is about. I get my supernatural kicks from other sources. Undercover has already been done. They'll have to pull it off very carefully to have it work a second time. I don't like the idea of a twin brother, either. It's... well, kinda lame.
My favorite option is witness protection. There are so many options to work with there...
