My dad left me at ballet once when i was five. He forgot he was supposed to pick me up and was an hour late. Silly Speed, you gotta pay more attention! Oh! keep going Geni, please!

Don't worry Geni no matter what happens we will all be here ready and waiting for you and my most sincerest birthday wishes to you and am sorry my dad messed everything up so i couldn't come up there to see you. Take your time and do what needs to be done, and take care of yourself. happy birthday again and well love the updates

Katie: *runs over* Oh my God you're soaking.

Holly: *holding a teddy*

Katie: Are you alright?

Holly: *nods*

Katie: Come on, we'll get you home.

Holly: Where's daddy?

Katie: He's at work, come on.

Katie's house

Katie: *covers Holly* Here, rest on the couch, I'll get you something warm to drink. You want to watch some tv?

Holly: No.

Katie: Okay. Honey I'm so sorry.

Holly: It's okay.

Katie: No it's not. Your father was supposed to be there at five.

Holly: *sigh*

Doorbell rings

Katie: *runs over to door, opens it* ....*crosses arms*

Speed: Is she here?

Katie: Yeah. I don't want you in my house.

Speed: She's my daughter.

Katie: Well you know what? She's mine too.

Speed: I just want to say goodnight to her.

Katie: ....You have five minutes.

Couch

Speed: *sits down* Holly?

Holly: *frowning*

Speed: I am so sorry.

Holly: *staring at tv*

Speed: I should have been there on time.

Holly: *hugs teddy*

Speed: *stares at Holly*

Lori: *walks downstairs* Dad?

Speed: *stands*

Lori: ...I've decided to live with mom.

Speed: Why?

Lori: ....

Speed: *looks at Katie*

Katie: *opens door*

Speed: ...Fine. *walks over to Katie*

Katie: *stares at Speed*

Speed: ...What did you bribe her with?

Katie: Let it go Tim.

Speed: You're taking our children.

Katie: It's for the best.

Speed: We should talk about this.

Katie: Can't. I sent in my resignation once and for all. We're done.

Speed: *frowns*

Katie: I'm uh...I'm getting sole custody.

Speed: ...

Katie: Get out of my house.

Speed: *nods* Sure. *leaves*

Katie: *closes door*

Lori: *runs upstairs*

Katie: Lori! *angry sigh*

Holly: *runs over* Can we get a puppy?

Katie: ...A puppy. No.

Holly: *lifts brow*

Katie: No, we're going to get a dog and a security system.

Holly: *smiles* Can we name the dog 'Dodger'?

Katie: Sure honey.

Upstairs

Lori: *dials phone* ...Come on pick up....*sigh*

Katie: *opens door, walks in* Who are you phoning?

Lori: No one. *throws phone on bed*

Katie: This is for the best.

Lori: The best? The best for who?

Katie: Us.

Lori: What about him?

Katie: He's had too many chances.

Lori: Why because of what happened in Africa? Because he cheated on you more times than you can count? Because he forgot Holly at school?

Katie: It's more than that.

Lori: Okay so you don't love him anymore, that's no reason to take it out on us.

Katie: You're safer here.

Lori: Safe. *nods* I don't feel any safer here than when I lived on the streets.

Katie: Your father can't take care of you.

Lori: Really. He's done a hell of a lot more than you ever did.

Katie: Yeah like selling you to the Columbians. I'm sure that he was just thinking in your best interests.

Lori: At least he wasn't thinking about himself.

Katie: What's that supposed to mean?

Lori: Nevermind.

Katie: Lori, I don't have time to argue with you. I have to put your sister to bed.

Lori: Yeah run away from it.

Katie: Get to bed. *leaves, closes door*

Lori: *runs, opens window, climbs onto tree*

Ok first of all I have to agree with myself. Well RT Katie that is. I've known what Tim's capable of longer then the girls have. I kinda know how he works so I think my actions are fair. Even though I want to just yell out his name and tell him to get his butt back in the house, I think I'm doing the right thing. Just like I said I think there's more to it. That even the kids don't know about.

Ouch! Burn to me. You know I think its really funny how Speed gave her away and yet she loves him more. And ohhh where is Lori going I wonder. Geni I think you are handling this perfectly. No divorce ends nicely and its a big strain on the kids that are envolved. Keep up the great work!

She can legally choose who she wants to stay with as she is over the age of fourteen. I got told that on my fourteenth birthday and I'm pretty sure my brother almost left on his. Broken families suck.

Lori: I knew you'd be here. I mean, you probably don't want Josh and Carly lecturing you.

Speed: Does your mother know you're here?

Lori: Are you kidding me? She can't control anything I do.

Speed: You have to listen to her.

Lori: Why? Why should I listen to anything she says, she's just going to ruin my life anyway.

Speed: She's a better parent than me.

Lori: What? No, no she's not.

Speed: Lori, you can't do this. You can't run away from her, it'll get you into trouble.

Lori: I don't care.

Speed: Lori, go home.

Lori: No.

Speed: *sits on couch*

Lori: ...So what you're not going to fight?

Speed: I'm tired of fighting. Just listen to your mother.

Lori: If it was up to her, I'd never see you again.

Speed: It is up to her.

Lori: Then I'll run away.

Speed: *shakes head* Why did you have to be the complicated kid?

Lori: *smirks*

Speed: Come on, I'll drive you home.

Lori: Okay.

Speed: And tomorrow you're going to school.

Lori: No I'm not.

Speed: Why the hell not?

Lori: Tomorrow it's Saturday.

Speed: ...

Lori: Long night huh.

Speed: Maybe I need coffee or something.

Lori: You don't drink coffee.

Speed: Neither do you.

Lori: Everything Columbian freaks the hell out of me.

Lori: It's not even cold.

Lori: If all goes well, I'll get arrested for breaking into something and you'll be the cop in charge of the case.

Speed: You break the law and I'll break your arm.

Nice update geni lol i love how lori ran away. Its so sweet that she wants to be with her dad more then her mom. I bet that makes speed feel a little better lol. Anyway can't wait for more updates lol
