Re: Crime Of Passion

Grissom woke slowly and yawned, Looking over the bed he realised she was gone. He reached over the bed and pulled on his boxers before padding softly through the apartment. "Sara?" He called quietly, poking his head around the sitting room door. She was gone. Suddenly he was filled with a horrible feeling, had she had second thoughts and left him?

Re: Crime Of Passion

The guy in the balaclava pulled a gun on her and she shrank back against the counter, a sob passing her lips as her hands instantly covered her tummy protectively.
"Oh God...p-please don't hurt me..."
She whispered, pleading and terrified.
"Gimme the money."
The guy ignored her pleas, keeping the gun trained on her as he barked his order to the petrified cashier, who nodded fearfully and opened the till, practically throwing the money in the criminals' direction.
Ten minutes later, he seemed satisfied that he had all the money the place had to offer, and as he turned to go, he fired two shot behind him, not bothering to look if it hit either one of them....

Re: Crime Of Passion

Grissom sighed, holding the phone in his hand. If she had left him did he really want to know right now? he took a deep breath and dialled her cell phone. he held the phone to his ear and ran a hand through his hair as he waited for her to answer.

Re: Crime Of Passion

Sara was lying on the floor of the convenience store, her body going into shock. Her cell phone screamed out to be answered and, wincing, she managed to fumble for it. Her fingers trembling, she eventually managed to press the answer button, knowing it was Grissom.
"G-Grissom...help...me."
She managed to wheeze out, a searing pain in her side.
"I-I can't...breathe..."
She struggled to talk, every breath she took feeling like a thousand knives to her side.

Re: Crime Of Passion

Grissom suddenly stiffened. "What the hell is going on Sara? Where are you?" He stuttered, already on his feet and making his way to the door.

(sorry mind is mush and nothing much is coming to me)

Re: Crime Of Passion

Sara was going dizzy and winced as she looked down and saw her blood pooled around her. There was no sign from the cashier and all she could think was that he'd either scarpered or was lying behind the counter and hadn't been even as lucky as Sara was.
"Con...convenience st-store...round the...corner."
She choked out, her voice strained and barely a whimper. She felt sick and her side was so painful that it was starting to go numb. Her body was shaking and her teeth chattered. She was freezing. Her body was going into shock.
"I've been...shot."
She coughed some and felt a coppery taste in her mouth. Gagging, she spat it out and was horrified to see that it was blood.
"Pl-please...Grissom I'm s....scared."
But her voice told him she was more then scared.

Re: Crime Of Passion

Lindsay woke up at the sound of her name. She took a deep intake of breath and then let it go when she saw Danny. She just looked at him, trying to calm herself from her dreams. She eventually did calm down, her breaths were still a little heavy, but she was better now. "Danny....." she whispered.

Danny gently brushed a strand of hair away from her eyes, looking at her closely. "Lindsay, you're okay.. It was just a bad dream," he told her calmly. Danny soon wrapped her back up into his arms, hugging her close once again. He hated the fact that events like that always left scars. Physical and emotional.

Re: Crime Of Passion

Lindsay nodded and allowed him to scoop her up in his arms. She always felt safe when Danny was with her. She decided not to tell him about her other dream, since it seemed too personal to her. "I'm sorry." she muttered, angry that her dreaming was not only hurting her, but both of them.

Re: Crime Of Passion

"It's okay, Linds.." Danny said softly, kissing the side of her head. "Do you need anything, or do you want to try sleeping again?" he then asked.

Re: Crime Of Passion

Lindasy shook her head. "I don't want to have those dreams anymore Danny, they scare me, I'm afraid that one day I'll wake up and it will all be real." she said, her voice a little muffled since she was speaking through his shirt.

Re: Crime Of Passion

"It's ok honey, I'm on my way" Grissom said as he ran out of the apartment and raced to the convinience store. From the state of it it was clear that it was the right place. "Sara" He called, not being able to see her straight away. "Baby where are you?" Panic was starting to set in.

Re: Crime Of Passion

Sara had managed to prop herself up against the counter and tried to call out to him.
"Grissom...."
She cringed as pain jolted through her. Her vision was getting blurry and the dizziness had intensified. She was freezing cold yet sweat was matting her hair to her face. She had been terrified that she'd never see Grissom again when that bullet had hit her, but he was here now, and all she wanted was for him to hold her and make the agony go away. If she lost much more blood, it would be fatal. She'd done the best she could trying to stop the bleeding - she'd balled up her jacket and was applying pressure to it as best she could stand. Tears were streaking down her cheeks, both of pain and fear. She sobbed as Grissom caught sight of her and was desperately wishing she'd listened to her heart and hadn't made the trip to the store. That way she would still be living a perfect dream.
There had been no movement from behind the counter and Sara was guessing the cashier was dead. She just hoped she wouldn't be joining him.

Re: Crime Of Passion

Grissom paled as he saw her. "Sara" He whinpered, running over to her and pulling off his coat. He draped it across her shoulders, moving her hand out of the way and taking over applying pressure. "Right honey I need you to be strong ok? Has anyone called 911?" He asked, trying to hide his panic.
