cold case

From TV Guide online:

Exclusive: Bobby Cannavale Is Back on the Case

Cupid's unfortunate misfire has turned into a big hit for Cold Case.

Bobby Cannavale, the star of ABC's short-lived romantic-comedy reboot, is now on his way back to the CBS procedural, sources tell TVGuide.com exclusively.

Cannavale will reprise his role of Det. Eddie Saccardo for at least three episodes, starting with the third episode of the upcoming Season 7.

The set-up for Eddie's encore? Det. Lilly Rush turns to her former lover in a time of need — this despite the fact that Saccardo is still undercover and close to cracking his big narcotics case.

Cold Case this fall will air an hour later, on Sundays at 10/9c.

Cannavale is an Emmy winner from his run on Will & Grace, where he played Will's beau, police officer Vince D'Angelo.

Thank's Dynamo1 for sharing, I love this show, sounds great, I still hope and do, that CBS will get a clue and re-instate "Without A Trace":)which always beat "Cold Case" in the ratings..strange~

i love this show and i am happy its not cancalled, i hope really they put the seasons on dvd someday, but the songs cost to much(i reed it some were)

i love Danny pino he is hot.

i like the team how they solved old crimes, and you see how its was then.

Although this was a re-run, I'd not seen it. The old 80's news anchor, and the girl who came upon a company where the employees were dying of cancer from asbestos, and they knew, so she was murdered because she was going to blow the wistle:( Lily was so awesome, so pretty and so good in this role, and Danny as well the whole team. Can't wait till the new season of this show to premiere~

Tonight is the season premier of this great show, another Jerry Bruckheimer hit~YIPEE

The 1966 shipboard murder of a young woman

GREAT PREMIERE, I love Kathryn Morris she's awesome, and the whole cast. She was in this two-parter scared out of her wits cause' William Baldwin had run her off the road, and he got out on bail she's terrified of him coming after her, from the issue last year in the finale, where she nailed him for the cadets murder. The 2nd one was from 1966, a girl Darcy who was on a ship cruise and just having fun, was found dead all these years later in the engine room, all skeltetoned out. So Lily was finding the old people from her past and interogating the ones who were still alive. Lo and behold it turned out to be her best friend Grace, who didn't want her to get involved or married to a guy she'd met on board, and pushed her over the railing, this was a shocker, who knew. Always good, and some funny moments with the shoes, and her co-workers:rommie: And the blossoming romance between Jonathon LaPaglia [bro of Anthony] and the black girl...So glad they picked up this show!

This episode was a blast from 1995, in New Jersey, the world of skateboarders. The kid Nash, who was a natural from a broken home with a little brother, left for greener pastures, in Philadelphia, to try to get custody of his little brother and give him a better life. He was fantastic, and had great skills in this skateboard life. He had many contenders one a nasty kid Grady who was jealous, cause' he couldn't compete with Nash. And then his best pal Cal who always stood by him well then, and the owner who wanted to sponser him. It turned sour when his buddy Cal couldn't cut it on the hard to do stunt that only Nash conquered. So being high on drugs and tweaking, he killed him with a what else? a skateboard, dumping his body in a area of a old wherehouse. Sad:( [I didn't think he was capable of this horrendous crime. Also it showed Scotty and his folks his mom who was getting into Tai-Chi much to his dads dismay, and he saw her crying in the car:confused: Lily was awesome as always, great acting, as well as the rest of this fabulous cast:thumbsup:

From this Sunday coming up~

All aboard the love train! A sound track of Philly soul music keeps this case about a young musician's murder chugging along

Another fabulous episode, Lily is the bomb. The poor Hispanic kid murdered, because he was trying to save his friend, a little kid. And called the dirty Judge to tell him to "get the kid out" Danny had promised to help him but alas it was too late, and of all people it was the leader of this nasty home for kids, who mistreated all of them. And Lily has a 'love interest' fantastic. don't know where this is going, but it look's juicy:p

This was listed as NEW, but was a re-run from last season:wtf: but still worth watching. 1964 and the Civil Rights movement, how dark ages. The poor girl selling Tupperware and going down to Mississippis from Philly to get involved in a positive way. The hair-doos:lol: She was found dead in a ditch and who did it and why> Showing Lily's squeeze, and them out on a 'date' bowling and heim having to leave to go on some covert operation. Her smile Kathryn Morris, wondeful actress. Bottom line , she got caught up in a swamp with some KKK freaks and swore she wasn't involved but Jim knew better because he saw her chatting with a black girl in town [horrors] earlier. The rest of them left but he threatned her, she started running and ran her down. her friends didn't know what to do, so they drove her back to Philly, and dumped her body the song "Let It Shine" in the background haunting. The two girls who hadn't seen each other for 40 years hugging tears for sure and Miriam watching. The end with the team using Tupperware:lol:

Last nights was from 1970 and the kid who got killed. Very talented guy Billy I was stunned at who did it was it his religious dad, who was horrified that he was in this [to him] dark music industry? or his seedy low-life boss Rhonde. Great music from that era. And Lily and her surprise brother, who came to see her via jail and cute encounter between them. So with much digging and sifting to all parties invlved it turned out to be his church going gal pal, Chandra,:wtf: who he tried to get in to his group. He was splitting town and asked her to take him to the bus station. She thought they were going to do a song together, and she loved him but he only thought of her as a buddy. When she freaked out in the car, he tried to get out and she slammed him over the head with a wine bottle. But, nice happy ending though. While he was in this group who BTW stole his song rights he was involved with another gal, who he got pregnant. The end the kid got to meet his grandad. Sweet, and Lily and her bro. having a get together and him finishing the family tree~ more on this I'm sure;) great show!

Talk about going waaay back, this one was from 1944:wtf: and it always amazes me how they find these older people still alive, and they all have instant recall:rolleyes:

Avaitor wome in the military in that say and age were mostly resented by the guys in the Army, and though they had no place flying planes. They were called the WASP. But, the featured woman in this ep. could have cared less. Vivian, she kicked it and wound up dead at the bottom of a reservoir, in N.Y. Lily and her co-horts started going back, and finding everyone who had an encounter with Viv. Showed the old time bar and a guy named Wolf [Jennifer Anniston's real life dad] He tried to put the moves on her and she slapped him and he goes "Your going to regret that "Lil Miss":(

Scoties probelms with his mom and dad, his mom is keeping secrets from him and he followed her to the doctors office she coped up to just "having a knee injury"

The Betty Jo was black marketing the old WW2 ration books and Viv found out. Also featured were Michael Learned, from her flying days in the service. Another pilot Edna mysterious died in a plane crash and the big boss Iris, told her to forget it. She wouldn't so Iris told Wolf to sabotage her plane, but pretened to send her on a business trip to tell the head honch Army about her relvelations. His bro. Frank and her were in love but he choose not to reval his brothers involment in this whole mess. She was going to spill the beans on the whole plot and Wof did put sugar in her gas tank so she crashed. They were both arrested~

I also showed Lily's ongoing feud with Wm. Baldwin and he's scary. He keeps showing up in an intimadating way. I thought she was going to shoot him~

The last scene Scotties mom sent him some Rice Krispies treats:p

July 2009 President Obama paid tribute to the 1,000 WASP women who died while serving their country during WW2

Really different twist on this episode. From 1986, Philadelphia, the horse jockey Sonny, and later found his bones in a horse grave. Who did this? The team finds the son, Jose who didn't report him missing for 30 days. WHY, He said "I thought he went back to Mexico" weak flimsy alibi:( The find his old friend Angelo, who came from Mexico with him, and he also didn't know what happened to him~

Lilys mom had worked at the trakc when she was little and di her homework there, and rmembers the "old timers" dreamers, she said~

Baxter the nasty boss, told Sonny to lay off the boos, and women and he wanted him to race Sapphire but Sonny said "NO" wanted to race Firewalker, a confrontation ensued!

Christy the girl involed with Sonny, they also found her, and she as well didn't know what happened to him~

Scotty worried about his mom and ges to see his dad and he says she's OK~

Then the team finds out they were slaughtering the horses for meat sent overseas~

Loved the sound track of Santana playing throughout the episode~

So apparently Baxter was setting fires to collect the insurance and finally after interogating all suspects, it was his son:eek: Jose who killed him cause' he didn't think he was important to him and he was. He left him and Insurance policy amounting to $3 million, that the team found hidden. He was drunk and started an argument with his dad and when he turned to walk away he clobbered him over the back of his head with a rake~

As always great episode~

Going back to 1991, and the "rap" world. I didn't realize that rap was around then:confused: But one poor foster girl Sugar Dawn, age 14 was a natural rapper, and got caught up in that world. Wound up dead. The club that was in then was called "Stickies" and Sugar Dawn snuck out and went there. Her mgr. was a prick and ordered her around, so it looked like he might be the one who killed her. Lily and the team interviewed everyone from that era and [it always suprises me, they find these people] It was hard for her foster mom and dad not knowing how to make her happy, her little sister idolized her. They also found her. She thought that SD had abandoned her. But she was killed. I finally thought it was her foster dad, who forbade her to hang around these people. But, it was the mom, who found her at the club and took her outside to talk and the dad had been molesting her, she didn't believe it, and took a steel shovel and banged her over the head.:( I was shocked. she never had a chance. And on the romantic front, Lily's main squeeze bought her a gun to protect herself from being harassed by the guy who still thought she was out to get him and she was~ She told him "I have to do this my own way" great episode~

Schedule change: Online listings for this Sunday, November 22, shows Cold Case at 9:00pm (Eastern) and Three Rivers at 10:00pm. I don't know if CBS did this for just one week or from now on. Keep checking local listings for time and channel in your area. As usual, networks and stations seem to mistakenly believe they have the right to change the schedule without notice.
