cold case

Great to see many fans love this show. Great stories, and fabulous cast. Kathryn Morris is awesome I thought she was about 28 or so, and in a new magazine featuring her, she's 42:wtf: man she looks great. And Danny Pino [Scotty] he's darling and all the rest too. Last night was a re-run, so next week a new one;)

The 1986 murder of a dock worker who moonlighted as a wrestler
 
This episode was from 1986--A dock worker and pt. time wrestler Mick, found dead~

His son lived with his mom, and thought wrestling was the coolest thing on earth, [he was 11] For once the grown up man looked excatly like the kid did when he was 11:wtf:

They the team rounds up the old wrestlers form that day what a bunch of ugly losers:( no one knows anything..

Scotty's mom visits him at the office and says she "saw her perp" ongoing story [she was mugged and raped] He goes to the guys house and a confrontation ensues, he wins of course. Before the guy discovers him, he finds womens DL and amonst them, his moms, he sticks it in his pocket~


Mick tells his son Tim that wrestling is all 'pretend', but he watches as his oponent throws him form a scaffold, breaking his neck etc. He's freaked~ but feels his dad is invicinable so he jumps from a roof top and ends up in a coma. Mick decides to get out of this racket.~

Lilly finds Scotty's mom's DL hidden in his radiator, says "whatever you need" great friend and co-worker~

So ending the low-life promoter Lance goes to see Mick down at the docks with his other wrestler Sill with him. When Mick tells him "I quit" he runs amok and shoots him with Sill watching from the car~ Lily busts them both. You see them both arrested~

Last scene with Tim working at the docks like his dad, and his dad smiling from afar, her smiles back and the Bon Jovi song "Wanted Dead Or Alive" playing in the background~ Not one of the best eps. but OK~
 
From 2006-This episode featured mainly Det. Vera [Nick] and his angst over a fire back in that year. It started with him in a near accident, he'd been drinking in a bar.. & would have gotten a DUI, but went missing. Lily and Scotty investigate and go to the bar and find out he'd had a confontation with someone earlier in the evening.

In 2006, a supposed fire was found to be arson, and two little boys were burnt to death, and the father ran out of the house, was found guilty and sent to prison. Later he was killed in prison~

Nick goes to see his former wife and she knew something was wrong, but is remarried with tow kids. She goes to get one ready for school, and tells him to wait, but he disappears. Then he leaves a strange cell phone message on his co-worker's cell phone like a good-bye message. Boss tells Scotty and Lily to find him, he's in serious trouble. Boss is miffed off about the whole situation and knows Nick is way out of line. So Nick, while hiding out finds there was faulty wiring in the kitchen of the house and maybe Joe didn't set the fire intentionally. He also goes to see the ex-wife of the dead guy she goes "Why didn't he try and save our boys"? The Nick goes to see the fire marshall and he tells him his theory, that it was a innocent accident, and gets thrown out. Eveyone figured it was set purposely, to get revenge on the wife~

Lily find Nick out in the rain in front of the dead guys parents house. He gets in the car and tells Lily his theory, she listens and says "you need help" he goes "I took cowardness for guilt" He couldn't get the kids out because the blaze was too fierce. He did try, it showed. Nick goes to boss and takes off his badge and hands it and his gun on his desk~

Goes home and sees [his ghost] Joe, smiling.. to be continued~ And the "Pink Floyd" haunting sound track played throughout~
 
Just watched Season One this week. I've never really been an avid follower, considering there are no DVDs and syndication in infrequent. Absolutely love the show now. The character development is subtle but great, and there were only two or three episodes that I thought were subpar.

1980..Starts at a Drive-In-Theater-do they still have those?
KIds drinking and watching the old movie "East Of Eden" they go to make out in the back seat, and the kid steps out to fix the top of his convertiable, and someone shoots him in the back~

Boss calls in Lily, to meet an old friend/co-worker who works for the FBI Agent Yates. She's got a snarky attitude and miffs off Lily immediatley. She's here to re-open an old case of a guy who was shot while walking his dog in the park She's snooty to Lily and the case is closed she goes "Maybe you missed something" Lily goes "I doubt it"

Lily goes to Yates "How do you know him", she says "He always gave me a fair break considering I broke up his marriage":wtf:

Scotty goes to see Nick, who's on suspension, and all he does is complain~

Lily and Yates go back to the original crime scene and she comes to the conclusion that it was a rifle and a sniper and actually finds a bullet in side a wooden bench~

John and Yates go for drinks and she propositions him~

They come to the conclusion, that both crimes are connected, then lo-and-behold Yates boss shows up, and she was NOT assigned to this case and broke protocol. He chews her out and takes her aside. She's somehow involved but as of yet we don't know how or why~ the old to be continued~
 
Finally got to watch the conclusion of this two-parter~

Back to '78', Bill the dad is teaching his son Paul how to tie a fly-fish on a pole, their chatting and then he tells him to go collect some wood. The kid does, and hears a shot ring out, while gathering the wood. He runs back to the cabin and finds his dad dead, a gunshot to the head~

Now Yates and Lily find the skeletal remains of the dad. Yates boss the FBI agent ches her out for being o this case which he's not authorized, but someone has been paying taxes on this cabin for the last 30 years~

They come to the conclusion that Bill's son Paul is the serial killer and killed anyone who he felt slighted him. His video store was robbed because a employee forgot to turn on the alarm system. The insurance company will not pay~kills that guy~

Lily and Yates go to see Paul's wife, who tells them she discovered the suicide note under some papers in a desk drawer. Yates goes "You have no idea who you husband is, do you"?

Lily disects note and sees that , Paul felt everyone was against him and that his dads suicide was a "blueprint" for his life all out of revenge. The go the the Aunts and Uncles house who raised him after his dad died and find a DB in his truck outside. The Aunt refuses to believe he had anything to do with it. "He wouldn't hurt a fly. Also adding to Paul's angst, he and his wife couldn't concieve a child~

Finally Lilty goes to Yates. "who's Barry, you keep refering to him" He was the kid shot at the drive-in in pt. one and she was the girl who watched it happen. She wansts to know why Paul killed him~ that's her interest in the case, because it's haunted her for all these years~She tells Lily, "when I find him, I'll put a bullet between his eyes", much to Lily's dismay:confused:

Then shots ring out in a mall, and someone tried to kill the receptionist at the fertility clinic where Paul and his wife tried to concieve a baby, and his CC was rejected, so he tried to kill her, A real sick and twisted person~

THey rush his house and find him and he's holding a gun on his wife, and they gold two guns on him. Yates says "Why did you kill Barry"? and it was so bizarre. Becasue he wasn't paying attention to the movie "East Of Eden" his all time favorite:rolleyes:they take him away, he sees his dad a ghost of course who has a really sad expression of his face~He's killed anyone who he felt disgruntled against. So sad and so crazy~

Nice ending, with Lily and Yates having drinks. Lily finally understood why she had the attitude she had, and her reasoning for getting to the bottom of this serial killer case. Casu her boyfriend from the day had been shot, and she never knew why, and it had haunted her for all this time~

Trippy episode, intense and good as always~
 
1968.. Wooodstock days. the beginning with the two people on the bus, Daisy and David and chatting. She was on her way to N.Y. him to Nam, it goes back and shows him shot and falling under a tree dead~

Lily and Yates saying goodbye~


Lily now working with FBI honch Agent Cavanaugh, and re-investigating this old case. Why would a soilder be hangin out with a bunch of hippies?

Det. Vera's ex comes to his precinct, to report a robbery, the house was broken into and Scotty and him go to the house~It sounded fshy to them, the circumstances.~

Anabelle/Daisy now a Congresswoman. Lily and Cavanaugh burst in her office. [strange again, the girl had a dimple in her chin, and now it's gone], she know nothing about what happened to David, but it ges back to that day and BTW 3 people died at Woodstock. One got run over by a tractor, one OD'd, and one shot! Remembers them sitting in a tree waiting for Joan Baez to sing and it started raining, they ran for cover and found an old barn on a farm

Yates visiting her mom in hospital, she had a stroke and Boss comes to be at her side~She had a horrible with her mom, but is devastated about her condition~

Lily and Cavanaugh go back to the farm where David and Anabelle ran for cover when it rained a lo-and-behold again, they went to the same place and the farmer came out an pulled a shotgun on them. All he remembers is that David was looking for the girl~

Det. tells ex-wife her husband was having an affair and he staged the robbery~

Anabelle was a double agent and had her case to spy on a guy named Reuben, he was a war protestor, who she was hanging out with at the concert~

Lily and Cavanaugh at an inn drinking brews and then went outside to leave and his keys were locked in his car, and Lily broke the window, and then they kissed:wtf:

David finds Anabelle and tells her about Viet Nam and she tells him about her two sided work. he suggests they split to Canada. he leaved to do something and she waits for two hours he never comes back~

He goes to the farm to get his car, and the farmer who was also a Army guy, says "Are you going to report back to the base' David goes "NO, why should I fight a war, I don't believe in" And it escalates and the farmer Al, calls him a coward, and David turns to leave and he shoots him:(he makes it back to that special tree, they shared during the concert and falls dead~ she never knew he came back~He appears to her and smiles and she cries~

Megan Vera's ex throws out he cheating husband and he's over painting the house and she's all smiles;)

Yates mom died, and Boss comforts her~

The last scene shows Lily looking at an FBI work application, what's going on there, we don't know..yet~

Woodstock music throughout Joe Cocker etc~
 
Sunday May 2. The procedural closes with more family drama for ever-besieged detective Lilly [Kathryn Morris]. her wayward little sis, Christina [Nicki Aycox] is back in Philly-this time hooked on OxyContin and is in trouble with some very bad men. And that's before she disappears, leaving behind a bloody motel room. The resulting manhunt provides for some nice, panicky disagreements between the usually staid Lilly and her saintly partner, Christina's ex-lover Scotty [Danny Pino]-but this episode's real nail-biter is when underused detective Jeffries [Thorn Berry] discovers police corruption might be behind the murder of a high school student.. grade-- B.. Entertainment Weekly
 
A hit and run accident in 1999 involving a prom queen

Lilly's sister is abucted in this 7th season finale
 
Ths was a two-parter and the last show of the season, both riveting and intrigung:eek:

1989 at a Prom, Felicia [she kinda of resembled Natalie Wood] was crowned queen and later on that night run down by a car and never solved.. till now~She was last seem at 12:15, and was found dead 3 miles away at 12:30. so what happened?

Lily and Scotty find old classmates [of course] her best friend didn't see her after she was crowned, figured she was with her boyfriend

Then the geek, Corkey which everyone made fun of joined the Army and knew nothing of what happed to her. He did see her earlier in the evening with Cole who was putting the moves on her, and he was hiding in the shadows, watching~

They find Cole who was blitzed that night and doesn't remember much~

Lily is appalled to find her sister Christiana ad he dads house and storms out~

Det. Vera finds her old yearbook and find another guy Lee who was obessed with her~

They re-interview Cole and he said Felicia broke up with him that night and was going up to Berkerly to school~

Her teacher Mr Burke finds her at the school and offers her a ride and she accepts, she liked him and trusted him but he puts the moves on her she freaks out and jumps out of the car, and her runs her down:eek:
