You know I don't hate Paris, I don't know her personally, sometimes the way the stars are in public vs in private could be totally different, in public she could put the spin on the "Dumb Blonde" senerio, and yet in private could actually be smart. But they tend to go with what makes them popular.

Why the heck would she do that then? She is a Hilton, born and bred that way, so maybe she is lonely, and the publicity over the years are what she thinks is the best way to cure it, heck if she didn't have the Hilton money or name how many of those people would be her "Friend" a word I use loosely.

Do I think she is using her status and name to get away with things, thats what is shown to the public, has some of her public stunts been so far out there that you can't figure out why there are some out there that support her (yeah there are some who do). I think she did a dumb think drinking and driving, I think she screwed up by driving on a suspended license then claiming she thought they were not suspended and didn't read the legal papers about it.

I also believe the public stunt about the pardon was goofy and then the sentence being reduced it tends to happen ONLY in certain circumstances, but this whole stunt now, I don't want to be in that mess. But do I hate her? Naw, do I feel sorry for her? When she has to pull the crap she does its 50/50, but in the end I don't know her, and honestly don't care.

NEWSFLASH: Paris Hilton didn't have to report to the court as reported but was able to speak to the judge via Phone.
As reported by Foxnews

the judge really has it out for paris, he sent a car to drag her ass to court! but seriously she cant complain about being targeted, this judge is trying to make sure she is treated exactly the same as anyone else. have a medical problem? you go to the perfectly good medical facility at the jail, not your multi-million dollar mansion.

i know its bad to laugh at people when theyre down, but finally there are some people out there trying to make sure money and status doesnt guarantee a free pass when it comes to the law. i hope she goes to jail, serves her sentence, and then it is over. but we all know thatll never happen...

Totally agree, loved the reporters announcing that the judge found out about the phone call and said  Not happening get you're butt into this court NOW!

Now not coming out of her house its like good lord her lawyers had to have said something, talk about making a big production apparently its "Paris Style". I think personally when she gets there, she should be taken back to jail to serve her remainder of her 45 days, course minus 3 days. (not the five) that she actually served.

This is like a big soap opera but better. :D

Here is the comedy break from the New York Post
"It's so cruel what has happened to her," the friend told OK! "She wasn't allowed to wax or use a moisturizer. Her skin is so dry right now!"

Another Hilton aunt, Francesca Hilton, told Us magazine that parents Rick and Kathy had planned to visit their daughter in jail this weekend, "but now, we will have to have a party."

From the same article the truth?
While Hilton spent just three nights in Century Regional Detention Center, she was apparently a handful during her short stint in cell No. 23.

"I saw her yesterday. She was speaking with the sergeant and she looked torn up [emotionally] . . . but she still looks gorgeous," said inmate Elana Lamb, who was released from the same jail yesterday, also with an ankle bracelet.

Hilton repeatedly pressed a medical-alert button, making herself a major nuisance, inmates said.

"She was just whining," said Lamb, 38. "She was complaining she was cold and hungry - and she didn't even get regular food. She got officers' dining food."

The early release ticked off inmates, who believe Hilton abused her influence.

"I've seen girls in there with seizures," said released inmate Cynthia Chavez, 53, who scoffed at Hilton's medical excuse. "They have a little hospital room up there where [prisoners] get treatment."

As much as the press tries to show that celebs are real people...they aren't. Somw use their status to get what they want, an example is Paris and her jail escapade. I think she should just suck it up and live our her sentence at the jail. Regualr inmates aren't allowed to leave unless it is life for death and then they go to the hospital with a full police escort and a full watch. I'd personally respect celebs if they just did like normal people do, deal with what they have and not use outs to get the verdict that they want.

There are so many people that have been wrongly imprisoned that would give anything to get out and probably go insane when they can't (at least I would) and then you have Paris who cries and whoa lets get her out because she is going to go nuts. There is so much worse things that can go wrong in life (ex. Death of a loved one, Paralysis, Losing a job, Being homeless) that 45 days in jail is nothing compared to what some of us non-celebrities go through every day.So go ahead Paris cry me a river.

I think what gets me about the media alot of the news people out there are saying that she doesn't belong in jail because alot of people (regular) drive on suspended license and it only gets them more of a suspension and that jail wasn't right for her because she didn't hurt anyone.

This just brings the old topic up that unless something happens the police can't do anything, well heck what were suppost to let her go on her way disregarding everyone on the road and let her hit and hurt or worse kill someone before she is brought to a realization that "Dang that was so totally my bad". As I said before I don't hate her but to be honest I don't like what she puts out to the public.

As to the police its nothing against them (what I said above) its the truth ask alot of cops. They could only cite or warn something or someone not to do something but until a crime is bad enough there is nothing they can do, in this case the cop that brought this to the court took the chance that if you are just going to drive on a suspended license my citation isn't going to stop you. Good for that cop, he/she thought about all the folks on the road and decided to risk it. Also it couldn't have been for publicity because I haven't even heard the cops name.

Paris Hilton Arrives at Jail to Finish Serving Sentence

<Snip>

A screaming, weeping Paris Hilton was back in the slammer Friday after a judge ordered her to go back to prison to serve out the remainder of her 45-day sentence for a probation violation in a reckless driving case.

Leaving the courthouse, Hilton shouted "It's not right!"

"Mom!" she called out to her mother in the audience.

</Snip>

One reporter on Foxnews "Greta" who was in the court about two feet from Paris said that she was twitching, shivering/shaking and basically looked like someone in need of medical attention, that if someone showed up at her door looking like that they would have taken them to the doctor.

It just gets me that the reason it took so long for her to get to court was the sheriff at first wasn't going to go with the judges order, saying basically he had more control over paris then the judge. But the fact is even on "Re-assignment" she was still considered in custody and therefore still within the judges power and I think the sheriff figured this out.

Some in the media said that the judge was making an example out of Paris, and to get his name in the paper, well to be honest good for him, she is a human being whether she admits it or not and should be held to the same standards as the rest of us, no matter what her status is or bank account.

I love how they are saying she will be doing hard time when it was 23 days, first it was county jail, it was 23 days (heck even 45 days), now I have never been in jail, but it would seem to me that hard time would be 2 to 4, or 20 to life. Heck how many people do you know or heard of do 30, 60, or 90 days in jail. I don't know maybe it would be too much for her, but then again she shouldn't have been drinking and driving, she shouldn't have driven on a suspended license (TWICE) and the second time she was doing so at a high speed and with her headlights off at 11pm.

I apologise in advance for any spelling problems or sentence errors I am typing really fast because there is a slight storm and my lights keep blinking so I am trying to beat them. :D

Disclaimer: Some of this is reported by the news, some of this is based on my opinion and shouldn't be taken as anything more then that.

I agree with the news and your opnions. This could be the secomd in a long line of celebs being made examples of. First being Wyonna Ryder and her shop lifting deal a few years back. They are real people and should be punished for the severity of the crimes they commit.

I just heard these gossip rumors.. first she's back in jail and went out screaming and crying.. get a grip  you were caught drunk driving, then were busted TWICE for driving with a suspended license, have to pay the piper.. and anyway she~~

1..Couldn't "wax"

2..Couldn't use her moisturizer

3..Didn't like the "prison food" well get over it or, or starve!

4..Has a 'medical condition' [yeah it's called 'big baby"]

BOO-HOO-HOO.. act your age 26, not like a two year old, just do the time, and move on, I don't feel sorry for her nor hate her, I just wished she go away, so we aren't barraged with this nonsense daily

Paris -- "I Used to Act Dumb
"Paris Hilton got on the horn with Barbara Walters yesterday, and told her that she felt "caged" in jail, but said that she's tired of playing "dumb" and that "God has given me this new chance."

Nicky & Stavros Get VIP Treatment at Paris' Jail
"It doesn't matter where they go, Hiltons don't wait in line.

With just about every single media outlet on the planet trying to shove a mic in their faces, Paris' sister Nicky and on-again off-again-who-knows-what Stavros Niarchos rolled down to Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles yesterday to visit Paris -- waltzing right into the building without having to wait in the ridiculously long visitors line. Family members and friends of other inmates complained that they had to wait for more than three hours."

you know Paris Hilton is someone I never gave much thought to.
She is a 'starlet' and the Granddaughter of a hotel milionaire.
She has fallen into the 'the world revolves around me' syndrome that everyone in her life seems to have purpetuated and no one stopped.
I don't feel sorry for her. She broke the law. You want to be treated like everyone else, suck it up girl!

Sorry, most of the time I really don't care about these things, but since it's all over and everyone seems to be talking about her, I thought I'd add my two cents.

It's true and I hope that she does take from this the fact that no matter who you are karma is a witch that will hunt you down and bite you in the aztech. :D

I think the personality she protrays to the public and the Celeb friends was so built up its like being trapped in a bubble that you can't get out of, and if you just dropped it people would be like yeah right. I think if she intergrates herself back into the Hollywood lights she should do it as a reassured person who has brains, who has learned her lesson and realizes that no matter what you are never better then anyone else on the earth.

Thats my two cents.

Opri to Birkhead -- You Done Me Wrong
Debra Opri railed on ex-client Larry Birkhead today, claiming that she got the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby a million-dollar media deal -- but didn't get bupkis.

Opri appeared via telephone on "The Big Story with John Gibson" and went wild, lashing out at Larry Birkhead, claiming he has publicly smeared her and has destroyed her "good name." Opri claimed she got Birk the baby and made him popular and she deserves to be paid.

Opri defended her humongous legal bill, saying she earned it. Last night on FOX's "On the Record," Greta asked Birkhead who he would like to have dinner with more -- Opri or Virgie Arthur. Birkhead replied that he couldn't afford to have dinner with Opri, so Virgie won by default.

"Real World's" Frankie Dies at 25
Frankie Abernathy -- the punked-out, boat-phobic rock chick of MTV's "Real World: San Diego" fame -- died at the age of 25 on Saturday at her mother's home in Shorewood, Wisc.

Cathcing up a litte.

First of all, thank you catey1234 for the information about the Murphy/Brown paternity testing. He is a jerk. But at least he is providing a DNA sample.

I, like the most of the world, is bored to tears with Paris Hilton. Illness? *snorts* Yeah, right. Go the Judge for calling her. Reminds me of a person in my class who is always late. My teacher now has both her and her parents cell phone numbers and calls her about everyday telling her to get moving to school.

Which also proves how unbelievingly childish Paris is.

And congrats Ed from Extreme Home Makeover. Triplets, wow. Poor, poor littlebrother Max. ;) I love that guy. *sigh*

"It's so cruel what has happened to her," the friend told OK! "She wasn't allowed to wax or use a moisturizer. Her skin is so dry right now!"

My skin (at least my hands) are always dry, but i don't complain. As for waxing her legs. a lot of people survives that.

Another Hilton aunt, Francesca Hilton, told Us magazine that parents Rick and Kathy had planned to visit their daughter in jail this weekend, "but now, we will have to have a party."

To celebrate her going to jail? :p

luvincsi , I love your avatar. Julia Winter. She's Swedish! Actually, this is kind of celebrity gossipish: She dances ballet. I don't know where she lives at this moment, but I saw her name in my playbill at the Royal Opera when I saw La Fille Mal Gardée. She played a chicken... ;)
