well she quit, she wasnt fired. abc said in their statement they had hoped she would stay. the problem is they are both incredibly stubborn and wont listen to the opposite viewpoint and get to emotional when told they are wrong. its a shame, i liked rosie (when her and elizabeth werent fighting) and she sure was a ratings boost. theyre gonna have to get someone new in fast now!
 
Latin Music Songwriter Estefano Shot

MIAMI (AP) - Police said a handyman delivering drugs shot and critically wounded a prominent Latin music songwriter and producer inside a waterfront mansion.

Fabio Alonso Salgado was shot around 11:30 p.m. Friday in the chest and on the back of the head. A police report described the injuries as "near fatal" but also said Salgado was able to talk with authorities and identify his attacker in a photo.

Salgado, also known as Estefano, has worked with Latin music stars including Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Shakira, Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias and Julio Iglesias.

The handyman, Francisco Oliveira, 29, who had worked for Salgado for five years and was delivering marijuana to him, according to police, is being charged with attempted murder. He was being held at the Miami-Dade County Jail without bond, according to jail records. It was not immediately clear whether he had an attorney.

Telephone and e-mail messages left at Estefano Productions Group in Miami on Saturday were not immediately returned.

An administrator at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where the police report showed Salgado was taken, said she was not allowed to release any information about Salgado's condition or whether he was still at the hospital.

Im not surprised with that Lindsay news. I agree with catey that she has wasted everything. Yep. I think she has to go to jail too. To be taught a lesson.

And I think Paris is reading a lot now. I saw a lot of pics of her reading and even one is her reading a Bible! That surprised me a lot. I thought I will never see the day Paris reading the Bible.
 
The latest on Lindsay and the others, and once again, why don't they stay home and party, and she's 20. shouldn't the bartenders who served her do some explaining, how is she getting served alcohol?..... plus a pic of Celine Dion's son, he look's like a little girl , long hair.. go look :eek:

I know about that pic! If you didn't know that Celine had a son, you would swear he's a girl.

As for Lindsay going to rehab, that's just a try by her to lessen the impact of her arrest. Did anyone see the pics of her from Sunday night, two days after her accident? Stumbling out of a night club, then passing out in her friends vehicle? I'll see if I can find the link to the pics where I read it. Couldn't believe it, and now we're suppose to believe she's sincere in this rehab attempt? I highly doubt it. Her lawyer drove her to rehab, where's her mother? She's always been there for every other try for attention, why not this too?
 
According to FOX and ET news, her mother is partying with her,[showed pics] she look's excatly like her and very young, so not good, why don't they stay home? and party no one would be the wiser, or just admit "I like to drink and do drugs" and stop wasting the rehabs and everyone else's time with this bullcrap!

The thing with Lindsay, IMHO, is that no one around her cares enough to make her stop what she's doing. Her mother is making excuses for her behaviour, whereas she should be doing something to prevent it not enable it. Her friends seem just as bad. Why would you take your friend, who just got out of rehab to clubs where alcohol is everywhere.
 
I get sick of hearing about the celebs yet when I see a tabloid magazine I pick it up. I guess I'm still curious. Sometimes I feel bad for them but then again sometimes I don't. I don't know exactly how I feel.

supposedly the clubs in l.a. were really on the lookout for underagers this weekend after the mtv movie awards. but that still doesnt explain the little celebs that get in. everyone knows how old they are, there is no excuse.

another no excuse: shemar moore is the latest to join the celebrity dui club :rolleyes: honestly, youre rich. hire a damn driver if you dont want to be seen in a cab!!
