Ryan felt a little bad sending Boa off to Calleigh, knowing the mood she was in and how she felt about Boa. He figured that Calleigh would probably chew her up and spit her out, leaving her without the results. But to his surprise she returns unharmed and with results in her hand.
He takes the results and looks them over glancing up at her," um did Calleigh say anything to you?" He pulls out a papers and cuts her off just as she's about to speak," the DNA belonged to Shawn Manning. Why does that name sound familiar?" He continues to looking through all the results in a deep thought.

"No, she didn't say anything.. Why, were you expecting her to say anything? She was surprizingly quiet." She looked up at him and studied his face, trying to read him. She couldn't for the life of her figure out what was up. The whole time she looked at him he just stared at the results. "What's going on with you two? You both don't seem to be yourselves.. No effence."

He was trying to listen to what she was saying. He wants to know if by some small chance that Calleigh would have told her about their fight.
“She was quiet hhhmmm, really? No I wasn't expecting her to tell you what happened I just thought...." He trails off of his sentence as he looks over the evidence. Then she comes right out and asks what was going on with them.

He looks up from the paper," there's nothing going on..."

He thinks back to their fight, still in shock that she didn't believe him and she accused him of going after Josh because he was in love with her.
“Ok to be honest we had an argument. It's um work related but I can’t tell you what it’s about.”
Just then he remembers where he knows that name from. He grabs up the folders and test results,” I have to go. I’ll call you later if I find out anything.” He runs out of the room leaving Boa standing in shock. As he’s running down the hall he dials up his cell,” come on, come on pick up. Hey Marc this is Ryan Wolfe again, call me back soon, it’s important.”

The past few weeks sure have been a lot to deal with for Lt. Horatio Caine but still work - even though it souned weird somehow - was something he could hide himself in. Himself and the trouble he had. The trouble that whirled up his private life so much, he sometimes didn't know where really to go or to look.

This had been one of the few days this month everything was actually going fine, so he didn't have any worries, he didn't really have any needs. No worries, no needs... just living and breathing... That's how he went down the hallways of the Miami Crime Lab. With a big smile on his face he was going tordwards his office, since he just asked Eric who worked trace to do something for him when he heared the fight.

Still, he couldn't really believe what he just heared, what Ryan just said and how Calleigh reacted but no matter how they turned it... there had to be something about it. As people knew him, they knew H. always investigated about things that seemed suspiciously and that's how it went this time. However Ryan found it... there had to be something about it.

On the other hand he could so understand Calleigh, that she didn't wanna believe what she heared, eversince she seemed to like that guy enough to fight with Ryan, but still that dude, whoever he was, was suspicious.

That smiled faded away, but still H. somehow was in good mood, as he walked into Calleigh.

"Hey, Cal, can I talk to you for a sec?" Without giving her the chance wether to agree or even not, he gently touched her by the arm and led her into his office. "Cal, I know your private life ain't my buisness at all... but I want you and Wolfe to keep stuff like that out of my lab, okay? It's your private thing whom you deal with and what he might deal with... but it's not anything that should be taken care of within the lab,you understand? Good..."

Calleigh looks at the floor as Horatio talks to her. He heard. He heard her fight with Ryan, he heard Ryan's accusions, he heard her reaction...he heard.

"Yes Horatio." She whispers as he's finished. "I'm sorry, it wasn't my intention to discuss it in the lab. I'll keep it out from now on, I promise. I'm sorry."

She looks up and sees Horatio nodding. "I...I'll just continue working on my case now. You're not going to make me apalogize to him, are you?"

She didn't think she could handle that.

He sighed as he looked at her. Somehow he really felt sorry, but this was none of his buisness and nothing he should be taking care of.

"Cal, wether or not you apologize does not lay in my hands... you are a grown up on your own... you should know best what you will, want or won't do..."

He winked at her and smiled.

"I do. Thanks Horatio, I'm sorry to be a burden to you, I really didn't mean to. You're like family to me. And...I think I should go talk to Ryan again, I might've been a bit mean. But I need to do some ballistics first. See you later."

She walks out and to ballistics. She did think she had been mean. But right now she wasn't ready to talk to him again.

"Sure thing, cal... no problem... see you...", he smiled as she left his office.

With a big, fat smile upon his face he picked up the phone and did a call he should have done before...

As Ryan is running down hall he spots Calleigh coming out of the office. He slows down so he doesn't catch up to her. Last thing he wants is another fight with her. He's so hurt by what all she said to him. As he passes the door he glancing in seeing H standing right inside. He slows down even more thinking about going to H with his problem about Calleigh's boyfriend. He's not sure if he should bring him into it. Accusing a fellow officer of being a bad cop is big time. He didn't want this to get out to anyone, because he knew it could cause problems for his own job if he's wrong. He needs to find strong evidence before making such an accusation.

He stops in his tracks,” oh no, what if Calleigh says something to Josh about this. Surely she wouldn’t or would she?”
He looks ahead of him as she disappears around the corner,” I have to tell her not to talk to him about this. If he finds out I know something that may be a problem.”
He starts to walk faster down the hallway trying to catch up with her.

Calleigh turns around seeing Ryan trying to catch up with her. Oh god no, don't come for me, just pass me, tell me Natalia is standing behind me or something... But she know he's coming for her. Taking a deep breath, she waits for him.

He stands still, looking at her. Just...looking at her. She doesn't know what to say and somehow all that comes out of her mouth sounds snappy.

"What do you want?"

She closes her eyes, figuring how stupid that was. She didn't want to act like a bitch.

"I'm sorry, I don't know where that came from. I meant: what's up?"

He catches up to her and he has no idea how he's going to approach asking her to not say anything to Josh about his suspicions. Right off before he can say a word she snaps at him in a mean tone. She apologizes but that isn’t going to be good enough for him.

He crosses his arms,” What do I want? Well I know where that came from, so no need to apologize.” He swallows hard fighting back the urge to yell at her.” I need you not to say anything to Josh about…my suspicions of him. I need you to be professional about this ok? I’m doing an investigation and he’s part of it. If I’m right about him then it could hurt my investigation if he finds out and people could get hurt. Rather you believe this or not, you need to stay quiet about it.” He looks up at her but avoids making eye contact with her.

"You have NO idea where that came from. You have no idea what's going on inside my mind, and most of all: you have no idea how Josh is! He's sweet, loyal, and funny...

But he's not you. WHOA! Don't think that, don't think that, you're yelling at him, so don't think this!

"Don't you think I know this has to stay professional? I'm a CSI longer than you, so I know. And damnit I told myself not to yell at you!"

She turns around. "Horatio will kill me if he hears this, so let's go outside."

[gotta go now, be back tomorrow]

Ryan knows H is right down the hall and probably has already heard her yelling at him.

He puts his hands up,” I’ve said what I had to say and I’m glad you understand me. I don’t have time to go outside to have you yell at me some more. I have an investigation to get to and solve before anymore people die.”
He turns walking away leaving her standing still fuming. His whole body is tingling and his stomach churning. He’s heading for the bathroom so he can throw up. The pain in his heart from Calleigh’s words lately is almost too much for him to handle. He still can’t believe she told him she hated him. That hurt him more then anything has ever hurt him.

I left it open so H or anyone could approach him, Or even Calleigh could come back after him for some more....

They had to work on the case. They weren't doing anything, but no one was listening to Natalia. She understood Ryan was having some problems, but he had to leave that at home. Wasn't he supposed to be the senior CSI? He should be telling Natalia to stop fooling around, and work on the case. Little did Natalia know, Ryan was working on the case. Just wasn't and couldn't do that part with her. She had absolutely enough when Ryan ran away. She waited for him to come back down the hall.

"Ryan! What are you doing!!" She yelled at him, but then suddenly realized she was being really loud, so she whispered the rest of the sentence in a really angry tone. "I've had enough!! Everytime we go to work on the case you run out!! This isn't fair for the family of the victims! Your the senior CSI! I don't know what i'm doing, and I need you to help me but I can't because you always leave!" She realized she was rambling on. Not to mention lecturing him. She hated being lectured. She took a deep breathe and sighed. "Look, whatever your doing, please do it on your own time." She spoke more calmly this time.

Her phone rang just as he was going to say something. "Exuse me. Hello? Oh, um...Yeah of course. I'll get back to you. Im in the middle of something right now." She closed her phone and told Ryan she needed to finish that call. "Your probably busy right now so, I'll go."

Ryan stares blankly into Boa's face as she yells at him. Another woman chewing him out in just a matter of a few minutes. He couldn't take much more. He was working the case, but he couldn't say anything to anyone until he had more proof. Then she tells him he needs to take care of his personal problems on his own time, telling him he's the senior csi and he's not acting like it. He can feel his blood pressure rising.

He grabs her arm and gets close into her face," listen to me. For your information I am working on our case. I found out something that right now I can't share with you. It's complicated and....and I didn't want to get you involved because if I'm wrong it could be bad for our jobs. I was trying to save you from getting in trouble."
He looks around seeing a few lab people staring at them so he lowers his voice," but you know what, I'm done. If you think you can do better then by all means do it.”
