Carmine Giovinazzo

I just saw the season two finale a few days ago and i must say i was sorely disappinted with the way Danny was portrayed during the show...One can be calm, but to such an extent?!Woah!!
I'd half expect him to screw the rescue team and start hacking away at the rubble with his bare hands! What a let-down...
You're right Top..That kind of Danny is just way too wierd for everyone....And about Flack...I'd really like to see him like the Brass of NY....

Chaos..u saw the season 3 promo?Where?I had no idea there was one....

I partly blame the entrance of Lindsey on the distance between Flack and Danny starting mid-season. They worked together on some cases especially in the Urban Golf episode.

If Lindsey wasn't forcibly wedged between the airspace of the two (meaning if she would just ridden home by herself), I know Danny'll have a screaming match with Mac, in a plea to stay.

I do think that was a writing thing--so many of Danny's scenes were taken up with interacting with Lindsay. And it's not just the stuff with Flack that got pushed to the side--remember what a fun team Danny and Hawkes made at the beginning of the season? Or how much fun it was to watch Stella and Danny interrogate people? Or how interesting the rebellious son/stern father relationship Danny and Mac had was? All of that was shoved aside for the forced scenes with Lindsay.

And it wouldn't be so bad if there was actual chemistry between the two, or if the scenes were written with a little more spark. But the lines are clunky and really, I don't even buy that Danny and Lindsay like each other as people yet. Most of the time they're kind of prickly with each other, and there are other pairings that do that so much better. There's just no spark there.

I hope in season three we see a little more of Danny interacting with the other characters. I hope they remedy the stuff with CotP and we find out Danny was there for Flack during his recovery. I don't want to see a cliched romance taking the place of all the good character interactions in the show.

Lol, even the actors themselves aren't excited about it. The writers got caught up so much with the possibility that they took it too far. Their field day with the experiment pre-empted everything.

I mean, Danny doesn't even look at Lindsey. It's Lindsey who's doing all the flirting. Nothing on Danny's side. Maybe it's time that Lindsey builds up on her character and try to interact with other people.

In the words of Sara Sidle, "So Danny (Nick and I) is(are) the whole lab now."

Thanks for the lead guys....

I do agree with chaos on Lindsey doing all the flirting...Danny's all about the job, humour along the way...
The constricted airspace has constricted the man!DAMN!!
The man needs his space...

And i ask the same as Top for season 3...No soaps, please!

Wise words those,chaos...

Lol, the quote is like this: So, Nick and I are the whole lab now? She said that to Catherine in "After the Show" (gosh, I need a friggin' life hahahah)

Anyway, yeah -- NO SOAPS. Miami is almost becoming one, though.

Yes..I do remember that line...One of my favourites...haha...

And i do agree that Miami is almost a soap now...A partially thrilling one though,i must add....

^I love the Snicker on that episode.

Anyway, back to topic -- the drama of NY comes party (okay, the bulk) from Danny hahhahah.....

In Miami, Horatio's sunglasses action is drama enough hahahah....

So did i...

Anyway, thank goodness you corrected yourself there...That remark may have caused an uproar here...hahaha....

Hey..I'll have you know that man looks good with those SOJ..The man looks incomplete without those...When they come off,you know action is gonna follow...

SOJ? You lost me there. Lol...

Yeah, Danny has drama but some other characters have their own dramas too. It's just so happens that Danny's not very good in hiding his.

U've never been on the Miami board,i presume?
SOJ= Sunglasses Of Justice....

Even though the others have drama, nothing is so compelling as Danny's...That's the thing about Dan...
Though i'm looking forward to seeing drama between Mac and his love-interest...That's juicy news...Top should be in seventh heaven now...Mac's gonna get laid...lol....

^Apparently not. Haven't been on the Miami threads ever. Lol.... *loserme*

Well, as for Mac and his love interest -- she'll be there only 4 episodes in the whole season. So...... will this be an angst-filled Mac-centric with Flack on the sides season?

Danny is the drama on NY. Or at least he was in the first season, and for part of the second. The fact that he's a huge drama queen really is what makes the character so much fun and so interesting to watch...I really hope that doesn't change in season three.
