Carmine Giovinazzo

i know we're all glad that intimate scene got cut!! i still can't picture them as an item...she's so frigid and i don't know what danny would see in a girl like her....why would he waste time on trying to get with her?? she's made it clear (at least to me) that she wasn't interested in him that way..

Whatever that scene is... I hope it doesn't see the light of day again.

I hope this next season, they will show Danny that he cares for somebody else other than forcing the D/L. Hopefully, Danny would be the first one there with Flack.

Hoho!!
I smell things in this thread...Haha!!
No offences...

I've not seen the finale yet..Its next week here...Danny doesn't get much screen time? What a shame!
I'm Always looking forward for Danny-Drama every week..Had plenty this week...Heroes...
Woan mama...That was alot of drama! But very well done by the team...

^Yeah, I wanted more Danny-drama from the finale, given that his best friend was pretty badly hurt. I know it was a Mac-centric episode, but it felt off to focus on a Mac-Flack bond given that we hadn't seen much of one in previous episodes (save I guess for "The Fall"). If it had been Stella, Danny or even Lindsay hurt in the bombing, it might have been more meaningful. Conversely, Danny and Stella are the ones who are really close to Flack, so I expected more from them given that the guy has been so good to both of them (especially Danny, in multiple different situations).

I hope we get lots of Danny drama and angst in season three!

Well, tensions run high when Lindsey is mentioned, I have observed lol.

Anyway, it's kinda abrupt that they shifted the centerism to Mac from Danny. After all, in "Heroes", the main case is so close to Danny (most of all). It's funny that they kept Flack and Danny away from the case since those two are the closest to Aiden. Well, yeah there is the risk of Danny being overly emotional about the whole thing.

I guess they're just gearing up for the next season which may be Mac-centric. But I do hope it'll be a Flack-centric season... at least later on. The spoilers hint it's going to be all about Mac. They should've done that in the first season.

Mac centred eh?
I'm not complaining..Mac's a hell of a character...
But given that fact that it's Flack who's almost killed, one would expect alot of drama from Danny,if "Heroes" and the rest of season 2 was anything to go by...
Sadly,not the case...Sighs.....
However,i don't mind the Mac-Flack thing though...That relationship was never explained from the beginning itself...So we have new light into the show...

I don't mind if its a Mac centred season 3...The man's got a tough shell...And i'd like to see the interior...

As for Danny,I'm on middle ground...I'm kinda used to the somewhat calm Danny of season 2...But i've not forgotten season 1 Danny though...

^I'm all for Drama Queen Danny. Prozac Danny does nothing for me--without his passion, the character is pretty much like every other mouthy cop on TV. Those are a dime a dozen. It's Danny's emotional reaction to things that makes him so interesting and unique.

I'm not super-psyched about a Mac-centric season--the character just doesn't excite me. But it does sound like they're making some cool changes to him--if there's one thing Mac definitely needs, it's to get laid. The man needs to loosen up big time.

I really do want more of Flack, especially to see him grapple with what happened last season. I hope Danny is there for him!

I'm all for a Flack-centered season. CSI:NY is the first on the three to allot most (if not all) of a season to a particular character. And I see them giving their homicide detective more than a special episode per season. And after a season finale like that, I expect to see a follow-up.

Season2, Danny-wise, left me cold. I mean, c'mon... FLACK WAS INJURED and the least the writers could have Danny do is to find them under the rubble and help out in the case? He didn't even ask how he was. In episode such as that, the forensics took a backseat.

For a Mac-centered season... I can't help but think it's not just a Mac *stand alone* season. When I hear 'Mac', the next thought that comes to me is inevitably 'Stella'.

I'd love to see Flack focused on kind of the way Brass has been on CSI. Brass has had some great episodes, and Flack deserves a similar rich story line.

Danny was really uneven in season two. He was practically on Prozac for the first few episodes! He was still a little mouthy, but not nearly as emotional. He got back on track for the rest of the season, up until that final episode. Danny and Flack have been depicted as being close since day one. Danny should have had more of a reaction to Flack's injury, even if it was only a few lines. He could have insisted on staying at the hospital--Mac could have sent him away still so they'd have that final scene with just Mac and Flack, but at least Danny could have made a plea to stay.

I partly blame the entrance of Lindsey on the distance between Flack and Danny starting mid-season. They worked together on some cases especially in the Urban Golf episode.

If Lindsey wasn't forcibly wedged between the airspace of the two (meaning if she would just ridden home by herself), I know Danny'll have a screaming match with Mac, in a plea to stay.

i guess i will never understand danny's lack of emotion when flacky got hurt....we all know he's very emotional and dramatice, but we didn't see it that much in that episode...please don't let it be because of lindsay!! :(

It's on the writers shoulders. It's all their fault. And that manifested on the character of Lindsey. I am in no means attacking or bashing her, by the way. It's just that she was so out of place in that scene up to the very end that it made it all awkward.

Something should've happened to encorporate Lindsey into the team more before "Heroes" and "CotP".

Btw, I saw the s3 promo and I love Carmine's new do.
