Carmine Giovinazzo

I have not seen Heroes yet so i don't exactly know the scenes...

RSRD,however,i have seen and i do agree that RSRD shouldn't have had a B-story...And it should have been 90 mins as well...

We could have seen more of the resident drama queen...

I think what it comes down to is that Danny drama is just fun to watch. I don't like it when his character gets watered down, like he did at the beginning of the season (we were calling him Stepford Danny! ) or at the very end of the season, when I thought he should have reacted more to what happend to Aiden and then Flack in the finale. And Lindsay freaking out about what happened to Stella more than Danny was just felt off to me.

Danny kind of disappeared in the season finale. He had about 15% screentime the whole episode. Very little.

The writers have a knack of putting things with wrong timing. lol!

*nods* And I did not like it. Of course with all the stuff that was going on there was no time to add more, but that's just my rational side speaking. The other side would love a 42-minute Danny show... ;)

^He had practically no drama in that last episode. Towards the end, it became leaning to Mac's side.

Danny was pushed into the background. No emotional scenes, no drama -- almost no screentime. And to think, Flack is one of his best friends.

One of his friends killed, another injured, brother in a coma ... if that were me, you'll be seeing me with a shrink freaking out.

Amen to that. They could've at least -hinted- at something in the finale instead of making him worry about giving Lindsay a ride, you know?

^Yeah, that bothered me to no end. I know Mac's the lead character so I figured the finale would be all about him, but the fact that Danny barely blinked when his best friend was hurt was so off. And the Lindsay ride thing made him look so shallow. Flack has pretty much been there for Danny at every bad turn Danny's had, and Danny can barely spare him a glance before going off with Lindsay. Yeah, not a fan of that at all.

it's true...it did seem kind of odd how danny didn't have much emotion for flack's injury...and we know how emotional danny can get. i think it was pretty lame how they attempted to get the danny/lindsay thing going... didn't danny remember that flack was there for him when his bro got hurt?!

Wait, does Danny have a car? I mean, he takes the subway to and from work. Then suddenly he offers Lindsey a ride? Come on... NY is famous for its yellow cabs.

The one thing that bugged me on that last episode was how they wrote Danny in -- he didn't even ask how Flack was. He was in that hospital five seconds and that was it.

I know, and it hurt. I was expecting him to at least -say- that he wanted to stay at the hospital with him. Then Mac or someone else could've told him that he needed to go home and get some rest. *shrugs* I don't know, it just seemed wrong.

As for Danny having a car you're right, I didn't even think about that. Maybe the 'ride' was them sharing a cab, who knows? It was just a lame excuse to have them leave together...

Er... Lindsey lives in Manhattan right? So Danny would be living maybe in Queens or somewhere else. And sharing a cab? C'mon... Lindsey's a big girl. Some excuse to leave together. Carmine did say that they shot an *intimate* (oh gosh, why did it hurt to type that) scene between Danny and Lindsey but it got cut out? Grr....

My mom (yes, she watches religiously too) noticed in the warehouse sequence (where they'll be catching the bomber), Danny was the first to go in but he disappeared later on. I half-expected that he'll be all badcop and he would've said something....

Idk.

Going back to basics.... he was crying "they beat him pretty bad" then he goes on sobbing... reminds me of a little boy.

Yep. That annoyed me to no end, given that Flack was there for him, what, four or five episodes ago? That made Danny look so incredibly shallow. Flack is always looking out for Danny and helping him, and Danny couldn't be bothered to even seem all that concerned for Flack.

As for the ride thing, we saw Danny takes the subway to work, so maybe they were sharing a cab or Danny had the CSI car and they were going back to work. I do wonder what got cut. I think it should stay on the cutting room floor permanently.
