Carmine Giovinazzo

Yeah, I think they can do it w/o going overly dramatic and forgetting the forensics altogether. As action-packed Miami is, they sometimes put the forensics in the backseat. But it's still amusing to watch lol.

NY on the other hand has the balance of drama and science. All of the characters have their own demons. Some hide it better than others.

Yeah, I'd love to see more of Danny's family, and meet Flack's father. There's been speculation in the NY forum that maybe their fathers were enemies, on opposite sides of the law, and that would be kind of interesting to explore. I wonder how it would affect Danny and Flack's friendship.

^Ooooohhh, juicy fanfiction material, that is.

It's like Mr. Messer is the kind of person that Flack,Sr. would catch. And then their sons are best friends and working together. I wonder how they would react to that.

I was so hoping for a medal-awarding ceremony as introduction to Flack,Sr.

Personally,I think Miami as all about the people...
NY,as you put it chaos,is a balance...

I agree with chaos,Top..That would be juicy fanfic material...
It'll be an interesting storyline,if it gets played out...

Medal-awarding...Nice...Probably the best way to introduce a PD legend...
I wonder how Danny's pop would be introduced though...Now,that's something to ponder about....

^We know Danny's dad is around...I wonder if we'll see him when the story line with Louie comes back again. There's a lot of speculation that Danny's family is involved in the mafia. I wonder if that's true, and if so, what Papa Messer is up to now!

^Hopefully,we'll see him!
It's gonna be more Danny drama when Papa Messer gets introduced...
I'd like to see how Danny acts around his real dad and his "other" dad(Mac)!

What do you think Mr. Messer looks like? The typical Italian mafia stereotype? Or someone straight off of the magazine? After all, his son..... lol

I kind of see him as stocky and physically imposing. I bet he's an intimidating figure.

I would love to see a showdown between Papa Messer and Mac! :D

^My thoughts exactly,Top!

I would love to see what Dan does if his pop and Mac get into it...Whose side is he going to be on?Will he even pick a side?Etc..Etc...

I think if Mac and Danny's father ever got into it, it would be over a criminal matter, or something related to Danny. I suspect Danny really would be torn. I think he loves his father, but he really does have a lot of respect for Mac. I wonder who Danny would end up siding with. I suspect Mac, especially if his father has done something wrong. But whereas Flack handled it quite well when he had to arrest his mentor, I think Danny would be gutted. He's just so emotional, and doesn't deal with things well like Mac, Stella and Flack do.

^Juicy Danny Drama...Could be even better than what we saw in season one!
An agitated Danny...Imagine the sight of that!

^I love to see Danny get worked up and upset about stuff, because he really does do it so well--much better than anyone else on the show. When he's in a troubling situation, you can really feel it; he conveys it so well. I thought the scene where Mac chewed him out in "On the Job" after he gave IAB his statement was so good, and Danny didn't even say a word! You could just see it all in his face.

Ah, a confrontation between Papa Messer and Mac would be a great scene. Heh, it's going to happen in one of my stories anyway. ;) Judging from what we have of season three so far, as well as the preview for next week's episode ... I'd say drama queen Danny is going to make a comeback pretty soon.

Unless the writers decide to turn him into a whiny, heartbroken emo person instead. :p

So. How many of you are hoping that cute doggie in the latest episode really belongs to Danny?

Oh, Kimmy my darling, you are my fanfic hero.

I'd prefer to see the drama queen than the emo Danny, but we'll see. ;)

As for the dog, I think it would be hilarious if it was his, but when would he take care of it? :( Poor puppy. :p Of course, I could see him lounging on the couch with a beer in one hand, watching late-night tv and telling the dog all about his day.

I think it's Danny's dog...did he say it wasn't? If so, I missed it. I loved all the jokes about dogs looking like their owners. I didn't really see the resemblance between Danny and the dog, but they made a cute pair. :D

I sincerely hope Danny isn't all heartbroken about Lindsay. Hopefully he'll wake up and realize he can do much, much better than an uptight, plain country girl. That pairing is pretty bizarre.

Kimmy, I'm looking forward to that story! :D I love the idea of Pappa Messer showing up. I have a feeling it would be nothing but trouble for poor Danny.
