Re: The Locker Room: All Carmine, All The Time

There's been a couple times I've found the NY accent hot (I could listen to Art Garfunkel read a phone book and I'd swoon) but to be perfectly honest, there are certain NY dialects that get on my nerves. They just seem so...abrasive. Not Carmine's though, his is...smooth.
Yeah, I have to admit, usually the NY accent really grates. I mean, it's not awful (I prefer it to say, a Boston or Jersey one), but it's just so distinctive and often heavy. It's funny how some New Yorkers have it and others don't. Does anyone know why that is?

Speaking of Carmine's assets, in one of his movies, Billy's Hollywood screen kiss, the first scene he is in, is Carmine showing off his bare ass. ( I just finished watching it, and rewinding to his ass a few times) and his sexy accent is mmmmm.
I admit, I watched that bit on his website.
It, erm, made me want to see the movie for less than pure reasons. Though I do love Sean Hayes and actually recall wanting to see the movie when that came out.
He is one person who just keeps getting sexier and sexier the older he gets. I think that his work on CSI:NY is some of his best work (that I have seen) I have read on one of his bios about an independent film that he has been working on and if it were ever produced for film I would love to see it.
Yeah, he does look better in his 30s than he did in his 20s. He kinda looked like a little punk in his 20s. You know, the overly-agressive type guy with a chip on his shoulder and an attitude? I could be wrong--after all, I'm just reading that from his movie roles (which obviously aren't him). But in his thirties he seems calmer and more mature--Danny might give attitude sometimes, but he's also grounded.
I remember reading an interview with him about that independent movie, too. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out if it gets made. It sounds awfully autobiographical to me, but then, I guess that makes sense. A lot of first novels are--I can see how it would be the same with first films.
Locker room groupies: We all need to band together to make sure that Carmine (and the rest of CSI:NY) doesn't get cancelled anytime soon. I need my weekly Carmine...it's one addiction that I refuse to break.
I doubt the show is in serious danger of cancellation. But I certainly wouldn't object if they wanted to pitch the shower scene to Carmine with that in mind...
BTW, welcome to the Locker Room,
GOTHICcheerNERD!
