Re: Bones

Yeah, I'm thinking LOST may be... lost!
My firned watches it though. I may get him to burn the eps and save them up for me to watch in the summer or something. Unless they reshow them like they did last year, which is how I ended up watching the show anyway.

I LOVE Veronica Mars and it's just starting to get good so I can't let that one go. And Bones gets better every time I watch it so I don't want to miss any of it! :)

Re: Bones

I would watch Veronica Mars but I live in the sticks and don't get UPN. It was nice when they were doing eps over the summer on regular TV and I caught a lot of the first seaon that way.

Are we on reruns of Bones until they move it? Man, I hate reruns. I want to be Dictator of the Television Universe and make reruns illegal. And reality shows. :D

Re: Bones

Yeah, I'd go Veronica Mars & Bones. Cos well, my magic 8 ball said so...

& I agree about the reruns... sometimes it's good but I'm all like: 'Just buy it when it comes out on DVD. No commercials and you can watch as many as you like.'

Re: Bones

I’m thinking about starting to watch this, I have heard good things about it. Would anyone mind just very roughly giving me an idea of what it is about? Or what type of program it is? :D

Re: Bones

Well if I understand this correctly the show is based off Chracters from Books written by Kathy Reichs. It stars Emily Dechanel(I think that the right spelling), and David Boreanaz (Angel) It takes place in D.C. and the main Characters are Dr. Temporance Brennon and FBI agent Seeley Booth. They work together to try to solve murders and stuff working most of the time only with Bones and what they know. Can someone help me out here. If you would like more information you can go Here to find out more information. I look at it as another form of CSI and I love it. And the fact that David Boreanaz is in the show. I originally started watching the show only to see him again, but I fell in love with the show.

Re: Bones

"Bones" is often about cases dealing with... (Guess)... BONES. When they find a skeleton or just a bone or two, forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan (nicknamed Bones by the FBI agent Booth) tries to identify the corpse or get as much info about the gender, height, weight, nationality, and any other hints that help. But, as usual with some of those specialists (like Quincy in the old series), she wants to stick with it until the case is solved.

Re: Bones

Yeah, it's like Quincy M.D. meets CSI... sorta...

I liked when he teased her about being Mulder and Scully. Then she goes, as per usual: 'I don't know what that means.' He's all like, 'Just get in the car.'

Re: Bones

Thanks for the details guys, I will start watching it, just need to work when it's on over here in the UK! It sounds very interesting. :D

Re: Bones

Well it's official, Bones will go to Wed. Night starting on the 25th I think it said last night while showing previews. Hopefully it will stay in it's 7 pm spot, otherwise, when new episode of Bones are on, I will be ignoring Lost. Right now my concern isn't what night it will be on, but rather please let it stay on the air. But everything I have read says the show has gotten excellent Ratings, so hopefully it will stick around for a few years atleast. I love David, and I would like to see him stay in T.V. for as long as possible, he was born for T.V. acting. At least I think so anyway. Looking forward to the 25th.

Re: Bones

Re: Bones

Okay, Bones has officially become the first tv show to make my stomach queasy. Normally nothing gets me (I was eating creamed soup during CSI NY while Hammerback was ladeling the stomach contents into tupperware) but having Tempe pull on the tissue of the skull, which wasn't bloody or anything, managed to do it. I got annoyed at myself when the idiot FBI chick had the same reaction.

I loved the whole driving of the Mustang bit. That was funny and Tempe's smirk was great. That and her yelling at him about calling for a hooker on her cell phone was just funny.

Oh, and wasn't the plastic surgeon the Mayor from Buffy? Not the first guy, but the second guy. That was a bit surreal.

All in all, a really good episode.

I thought it was a good episode, but I kept flipping back and forth between Lost and Bones, this Wed. night slot is going to prove problematic. But I after that episode where Bones puts on that girls hand, I expected more of a reaction out of David rather than the FBI chick with the skin ripping part, but her reaction was great too!!!

It was a good episode all in all, but I have to make up my mind what show I want to watch, I can't watch both at the same time it just won't work. And the plastic surgeon was the mayor from Buffy in Season 3. It took me about 2 minutes to figure out where I've seen him before. But it was Season 3 of Buffy.
