Refs will normally take the blame fo a losing team faults, and I'm not saying that is wrong, but really most things balance out in the end, not much help for you Aussies right now though :(

It wasn't a penalty but Neill should not have gone to ground, and this about not being able to give a foul when you are already over is silly, you could grab someones leg when on the ground and it would still be a foul
Plus Italian had Materazzi sent off harshly too, balances out!!

Being English am used to that, Maradonna's hand of God still hurts, also Sol Campbells disallowed winner in 98 too! However we did get a bit of luck in 66 ;)

As for tonight, am going for Spain but only cause of Liverpool players, have nothing against France, in fact will be sad to see them go , cause that will mean the end for Zizou who is quite simply one of the greatest footballers of his generation :D

don't be so sure either French and Spanish, I don't like to say France is gonna win or spain is gonna win. I just want to see a great game.
France is scared but as Hormiga said Spain is wary of France.
I think on either side we shouldn't be so defiant.

Exactly. I think it could go either way. I'm definitely wary of France, I mean, they have Henry! I support Arsenal so I know how good he can be! So I hope the Spanish young guns will hold up against the experienced French team.

Brazil leading Ghana 2-0, Ronaldo is all-time leading scorer in World Cup now. I think whatever happens, he has answered his critics well.

Brasil ghana 2-0 at half time I'm quite sad for Ghana but we knew that Brasil was best.

Brazil deserves to be called one of the best, 'cause they can play awful and still win. =)
I didn't see the whole match today, only the first two goals.
Ronaldo really scored nice, and that Adriano thing was an obvious mistake of the refs.
Surprisingly nothing about any mistakes is mentioned on the WC website. =|

Yeah that was the first thing I said about Adriano's goal, he was offside I was just waiting for the falg, it was quite obvious

But Ghana were very niave in their defending, you can't play tha high a line to a team who are masters at the killer ball, and are pretty quick as well :)
Sad to see Ghana go though they always tried to play good football, not nice to see another red card but that was such an obvious dive it was really silly :p

GOOOOO ZIZZOU!!!!!

Now this is the best way to say goodbye to his national team! And "old" folks showed that they still have skill and straingh in their feet.

So, next match: Brasil-France. Let's pray for a WC '98 rerun. :D :D :D

And the scene with Barthez and Zidane walking off the field together, smiling. :D They looked like twins. :D

Oh God, I'm so sad :(

I don't know what went wrong, actually, I can't think properly right now...just feel really disappointed :(

Good for France though.
