Good one alienor thanks for all the memories, and "GRAVE DANGER" he was so freaked out, but kept his cool, and especially with Nick, telling him to hang on.. I think "GD" is probably the most intense ep. ever, big kudos to "Tarantino" I wished he could come back again, he brought the whole team to their greatest heights!

Evenin' BP nuts! :D

Anybody here living in the SF area? Because TLADILA will be shown on the big screen at the Castro Theatre on September 4

You will go blind, grissomFREAK!! I'm warning you! You can't freeze frame it in the cinema either!

We never get retrospectives like this at our cinemas. It's all the latest films. Mind you, I dread to think how giddy I would get if Billy was on at the Cineplex on the big screen... I may be escorted from the building!!

The Chicago Cubs are doing well! I keep checking the teletext American Sports page on Ceefax (pg 388 if you're in the UK *nudge nudge wink wink!!*) And they were on Channel 5 the other night on the live feed from America. But it rained in the 3rd innings and was cancelled. I think it's pictures are from ESPN? Does that sound right or did I make those initials up?!

I bet Billy is wetting himself in excitement! Do the league winners and the best 2nd place play each other in the semi finals then?

aye Britters, ESPN would make sense!

The Cubbies are doing well, leading their division  I think they really need to win that division, cos getting in via the Wildcard will be very hard in that league.

I'm guessing that billy will be keeping his feet firmly on the ground - any long suffering Cubbies fan must go through so many highs and lows, that until they are guaranteed that play off spot, they won't get too excited :D

Basically - if the Cubbies win their division, then they and the other 2 National League division winners, and the wild card team would be seeded 1 through 4 going on their record, with the wild card always 4th seed. So say the Cubbies are 3rd seed (which would be likely), they would play the 2nd seed team - that changes if the wildcard team is from the same division as the top seeded team. Then the winners of that game would face the winners of the other National league game and play for the pennant.

All that probably makes no sense, and you'll wish you not asked :D

Totally get that. You are the Knowledge of Baseball! It reminds me of rounders but it's easier to score! I saw the Cubs a lot in the bars while in Vegas last year. I thought they were like the Manchester United of baseball as they were on all day every day! Then I found out they were not!! But, come on the Cubs! It is quite exciting and makes so much more sense than American Football!

yeah, the poor old Cubbies are anything but winners. But the great thing about them is - they are very very popular! I think after the Yankess and the Red Sox, they are the 3rd most popular and well supported team in baseball, which is pretty cool!

I like baseball, after ice hockey and footy, it's the only other sport I really like. And there is something about going to a game on a sunny day, having a few beers! not done it often enough like, but the few I've been to have been great.

I watched Grave Danger last night cause my mate hadn't seen it and yeah, it's such an awesome ep. :D Though at the end of the first ep when the guy goes boom, i'm sorry, but the "blood" on Griss looks so fake. :p hah.

You can't freeze frame it in the cinema either!
Not that you do that eh BF?! Mwahaha. SSS! Yes, i've stolen that off you and PlG :p

I watch Baseball when I get the chance, it's addictive. Love to see it live, one day. My no1 sport will always be footy, then basketball, then baseball, ice hockey, basically anything apart from golf. Playing golf is fine, but watching it is like having nails driven through your eyeballs. Nice.

Grave Danger is a classic. Definatly a fav of mine. I cried my eyes out first time I watched it when Nick's recording his 'goodbyes' to people and Griss lip reads him. *blubs* I'm so pissed he (GE) didn't get any recognition for that ep. Grrrrr.

I wish that they would do a retrospective here of Friedkin's movies. I would LOVE to see Billy on the big screen in TLADILA. Aside from the scene you mentioned GrissomFreak *cheesey grin*, the man is HOT in jeans too.

Thinks of that pic where Chance is standing beside his truck... Yummmmmm.

Hey, GrissomFREAK on living in San Francisco, I'll trade places with you for a week ;) you can indure the 110 blistering heat, and I'll enjoy standing on the Golden Gate Bridge, with the cool ocean breezes blowing in my face, and Billy does film here, I wonder if he's ever been to SF, and what would you do if you saw him meandering down Castro Street? [silly question] maybe he'd ride the Cable Cars with you, or you and him could go to Chinatown and eat, or Fishermans' Wharf.. so delicious.. :p let us know about how the film went.. ooohh big screen and Billy
