Some more cool and classic lines from our 'man'![IMG]

    From "Bad To The Bone"
Grissom to Warrick, on finding buried skelton
"Well, guess there was no more room at the inn"

"Grissom vs the Volcano" on realizing the bee killed the guy!
"That explains it, it was an outside job" :D and
    "Hell is other people"

    "Fur & Loathing"
Grissom.. "We need to to stop scritching and yiffing and take your costumes off'

"Grissom.."We're looking for a wolf, in wolfs clothing" :D

    "Forever"
Grissom. A horse, a horse, my kingdom for a horse"

    "No More Bets"
"Just because you can't see something, doesn't mean it's not there"

A long time ago I used to write these down, on a notebook pad, so I've got scads!

But I figured that its helpful if there were more info on it so I posted that link. ;) As to having the convo with a mod, you would be surprised what we hear from people lol nothing embarrasses us anymore. :D

INTELLIGENCE is also a great word ;) which WP certainly is! and on which ep. all of them, that he's in..[IMG] I just watched 'SUCKERS" last night the fake Oriental art collection "and the con goes on", & 'nothing's as it seems' & the cat & mouse game he plays with the casino owner at the end :D he's awesome in it, so that's one of my favorites , and he hums 'THE MIKADO' and Nick's expression is priceless ;)

Destiny, I'am glad your father has recovered ;)

I've just watched "no humans involved". I love the scene between Cath and Gil. It was funny and moving. I put the whole scene, sorry if it is long but I think it is worth as every word is important !

Catherine: Taking your pet for a walk?
Grissom: I know how much you like my little fetal pig, so I'm giving him to you as an office-warming gift. :D
Catherine: That is so.. thoughtful. Now tell me why you really stopped by. You checking up on me?
    Grissom: No.
Catherine: What've you heard? Who talked to you?
Grissom: See? You've only been on the job a week and you're already paranoid.
Catherine (laughs): When I was your right hand and your left, I always knew if it hit the fan, you'd be the one to get dirty.
    Grissom: Hey, that's the job.
Catherine: Yeah, that's the job. Did you ever play politics?
Grissom: I once ran for president of science club in junior high. Mary Hardy beat me out by one vote.
Catherine: I'm going to guess that you didn't vote for yourself.
Grissom: I'm not any good at politics. It cost me, that's how I lost Nick and Warrick.
    Catherine: Your loss, my gain.
Grissom: Yeah, and at least I know that they're in good hands

When I watch this scene, I know why I love Grissom so much. Despite suffering injustice, there is not an ounce of bitterness and nastiness in him, "that's the job". And he visits Cath out of kindness and Cath is so suspicious, he is not even offended.

He is such a magnanimous guy. It shows what a noble spirit he is.

Good to hear about your dad, des. And thanks for the info. ;)

Yeah, alienor. Magnanimous is a good word. He is also passionate about everything he does, down to the tiniest details. He knows they are the ones that matter. He is passionate about his team - the scene in the hospital wi Greg when he got his head kicked in was beautiful. He cares. Now he can show it more.

Now, best season Grissom. Loved series 1 for cheeky Grissom, series 2 for curly haired Grissom, series 3 for actually doing something about his hearing! Blimey, for a bright bloke he can be thick! Series 4 for the jeans and the best ep ever - Fur and Loathing. It makes me wet myself laughing! Comedy Grissom! Series 5 was good beard action and hero Grissom, sitting on top of Nick's glass box and calming him down - 'Now, don't move or you'll blow us all up... and you don't want to do that!' Series 6 was a bit meh for me, except Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Time of your Death and Way To Go.

But series 7 - the complete man! He even stopped wearing the mustard jacket (don't mention that to PLG... ever!) but the hat survived... Argh!

So there are positives in every season. That would have just been quicker to type, I guess!

Yeah I wasn't fond of that jacket either. But the hat can stay forever imo. :D

I can't choose a fave Gman season. S1 cuz he was more cheeky like you said BF, comedic Grissom is awesome. But in Grave Danger he makes me crrrry at the end. Poncho *weeps*

Alienor, thats one of my fave moments. Ever. He's just been kicked down and had his team split up but he can still find it in his heart to be happy for Cath. If that was me i'd be too angry lol. Grrrr.

You know i've never seen Way To Go. From a non ship perspective is it any good? I started to one time in bed but I got tired and turned it off about 5mins in lol. Just never got round to watching it again. Whoooops.

Alienor, that is a good scene, you're right he doesn't get pissed about his team being split up, he just carries on and does his job, he's such an awesome guy. :D
And yeah, Grave Danger made me nearly cry near the end, was so emotional, he was in dad-mode. :D So cute!

Grave Danger, A Bullet Runs Through It, Mea Culpa all these come to mind where Grissom really kept his emotions in check until he couldn't take it anymore
Especially in Grave Danger when they were frantically trying to find Nick. You could see it in the wearhouse when he delivered the briefcase to Kelly Gordon's dad... ah great episode
