Well, I wouldn't call myself a "hater", although other people have called me that. I'm definitely not a fan, though.csinyfreak30 said: It's nice to meet a fellow Lindsay hater =] join the club...
lol sorry about that. I'm definately not a fan of her either...but i can't help but think that i COULD have loved her had she been developed...and since she wasn't developed at all, i'm going the opposite direction
I think sometimes people think that, if something is on a show or what-have-you, that it must automatically be good--and therefore, Lindsay must be a great character and Anna must be a great actress, simply because she's there. I'm not sure that makes total sense, but I know what I mean.
I know what you mean. If CSI:NY is such a great show, it would be natural to assume that it would bring on a great actress and a great character. Unfortunately, Anna/Lindsay doesnt fit that idea. Again i have to think about the could have been situation with her....she had the potential to become a great character, but either the writing or the acting (or both) failed on that.
Or maybe it comes down to liking the idea of something, therefore wanting to love everything about it. If you want to like something, it's easier to make excuses or look past things another person might not ignore.
I do the same thing with other shows and movies i like too, i have to admit. If you are are die-hard fan of something, you try to overlook its flaws because you love it, and you can focus on the things you love. Its the same thing with Lindsay fans--they see a new character, who in their eyes brought "freshness" to the show, has "chemistry" with a main character, and is just so cute with Danny. But its the same viceversa, too. I do not like Lindsay, so i focus on the bad. I can realize that she's better at lighter moments and that she is very different than Aiden, but i try to ignore these possible strengths because I dislike her.
Sorry if i sounded like i was a crazy Lindsay-must-die kind of person =/
