I've nearly finished the currant book I'm on which is 'Blindsighted', I've only got about a chapter left. It's a fantastic book, I'm defiantly going to follow the Grant County series. The only downer I had really was working out who it was about halfway through the book, I think that was more a lucky guess then anything else, I highly recommend the book, Karin Slaughter is a fantastic writer. :D

"The Great Gatsby"- Fitzgerald. It is the summer holidays and I am reading my english lit books for next year. I am such a dork- next I am going to read "The Tempest"- Shakespeare.

mmm could have sworn i put something on this thread.

Just finished Faceless Killers by Henning Mankell- I couldnt believe how many typos/spelling mistakes there were in this book! Just...shocking. But I like the book! Really good read if you can ignore the mistakes. ;)

So now, Im reading the next book- The Fifth Woman by Henning Mankell. But Im also off to the library to get more books later today because I just get so bored with reading just one book. :p

Just begin The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova.
It's supposed to be "a chilling historical mystery that reaches from the present day into the medieval past of Vlad the Impaler, Wallachia's barbarous 15th century ruler whose gruesome deeds gave rise to the legend of Dracula. In The Historian, Kostova's characters hunt the immortal Prince Vlad across twentieth century Europe, from ancient village to dank crypt in a quest to destroy the vampire".

I've read this and it's not particularly chilling. I think I should have guessed by the title that it would be more about the historical perspective and less about scariness. It's a little self-indulgent and maybe a bit longer than necessary, but not too bad I guess.

I'm re-reading The Hobbit for the gazillionth time....its kicking off my annual Tolkien marathon...those books just never get old :D

I'm re-reading The Descent by Jeff Long to see what they are going to miss in the move when it comes out in August.

I am reading Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson. It's good. Unrealistic, but interesting. I can see how he considers it a childeren's/teen's book. Definately not like his other books.
