Woah, my new fav misc thread, I can't believe I didn't see this before..

I'm currently reading "The Constant Gardener" by John Le Carre (and NO, I HAVE NOT SEEN THE FRIGGING MOVIE)... everyone asks me that. Anyway. One of the best books I've ever read. It's amazing. It's opening my eyes up so far.. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the slightest in the plight of African culture.

I was going to head to Ethiopia tomorrow to do some relief work, but I caught a painful viral infection and am barred from entering the country for now.. I'm reading this book to ease the HUGE disappointment :)

Hope you get better!!!

From all the books I've read by John Le Carré, "A Perfect Spy" is my favorite.

I just finished Killing Game! I hope you like it, I enjoyed it :)

Thanks for the good wishes, all :D

I finished The Constant Gardener tonight and I'm about to go watch the movie now. I'm starting on my next- Beloved, by Toni Morrison.

What a damn shame about you contracting that virus. :( Hope you can get better soon! And Beloved is such a great book. :D Quite hard to get into the book but when you do, it's such a great book. :D

Im currently reading Forever Odd because I love Dean Koontz.

I just got 'The Grapes of Wrath' by John Steinbeck from the library. I've only read 'The Winter of Our Discontent' by him before, which I enjoyed.

I really want to read "The Winter of our Discontent" but niether the school nor local library has it :( I can't find it anywhere...

I've just started reading The Final Detail by Harlan Coben. I completed Just One Look by the same author a few days ago and it was fast-paced and suspenseful... too bad the ending's a dud. :p I hope this one's better.

"Flowers for Algernon"
"Selling Hitler"
"Hitler's Children"
"The Destruction of Dresden"
"The Shining"
"Dreamcatcher"

And I've started many more. Eek.
