I really like this couple. It was about time that Cath got a nice, reliable guy and I think Vartann is it. They have great chemistry and I love there scenes together. I agree that he brings out a different side to Catherine, and that is good to see.
Hopefully this relationship will continue.

Marg came out several times saying that the relationship will continue. She also announced it during her time in Rome. Also according to the spoilers, Catherine will have some 'empty nest' pains when Lindsey moves out. We already know Lou has a son and pretty much said he felt the same way when his son left. I'm sure he'll be there for Catherine.

I liked the fact that their relationship was there, but in the background and not overdone. I hope it continues like that. Although I wouldnt mind seeing a bit more of Vartaan!

I'd love to see more of Vartann too.

I like that they did give him some what of a back story but the fact that he has a 21 year old son, it threw me. :eek: :wtf:
But it's something he and Catherine can can bond over.

I've said this before, I'd love to see a storyline involving his son. Something that comes across Cath's desk. Can you image what that would be like??

And I also want to see them work together and flirt together because it is subtle and like you said Solitaire, in the background it wouldn't distract from the case. At least not when they are working. When they are alone together, well that's another story. :lol: :evil:

Catherine storyline next season is perfect for this couple becouse like some of you said,Vartan already knows how it feels.It will be nice him giving her some advice.But I do not want them to lose their flirty banter so that part has to continue.

I've been lurking a lot 'cause I ship them!! Huge fan of Alex Carter. I see that this hasn't been posted yet. It's HUGE!

OMG I was not expecting them (TPTB) to take it that far. They are certainly taking this relationship seriously and really sticking with it. It's sad to hear it'll be Marg's last season but I have to say I'm not surprised and I'm glad she can have this relationship before her character exits. Though only 19 episodes of Catherine makes me sad :(. I really :lol: with the leg shaving comment :lol:.

A bed scene? If Catherine is going to leave after next season,they sure owe us one.I bet is going to be HOT!!:drool: But I also want the writers to tell us more about Vartan now that Catherine leaves.He can be promoted and leave with her to put an exemple.

I would actually like Vartann to stay when Cath leaves. From what I've understood Cath's departure will have something to do with casinos and Sam so she could easily stay in Vegas. That way Vartann and her could still be seeing each other and we could know about her through him. The one thing I do NOT want is for them to have to break up because she's leaving. It doesn't have to be that way and there's a million ways they can make the relationship work.

Oh,I did not read about the casinos.As long as they are commited to each other I would be OK if he stays or leaves.But if he stays on the show maybe we can hear about Catherine eventually like with Sara and Grissom.Like maybe he is late becouse he was "busy " in the morning.A joke.

So did I read that right? A BEDROOM SCENE? WOW! I'm not really sure how I feel about that. I wonder if they'll do it in flashbacks? I'm also wondering if we get to see Alex Carter without his shirt on? ;)

I mean as much as I LOVE Catherine and Lou I'm not sure I want to see them in bed together??? Well just a glimpse. :lol: But WOW that's a huge thing for a show like CSI.

I also read that next season is Marg's last. Perhaps that's why they are doing the bedroom scene? I'm also not sure according to the spoilers that Catherine's storyline is one I really am into to. I mean, she's supposed to go head one of her dad's casinos? Makes no sense to me. :confused: What I can see is a way to keep her in Vegas if Alex Carter stays on the show without her. It's a way of keeping them together without Marg being on the show any longer. I guess I'm not thrilled with that idea. I'd rather see Catherine's character go off and teach or something. To me Catherine seems way to smart to and it' seems like a step down for her. But that's me.

I'm just glad they are continuing the relationship and that it's going to get really HOT it sounds like.

Well now I was going to come here and bring good news to you Cathrine and Dec Vartann fans but I see you already know!!:lol: As a Smack fan I am jealous but I have always liked Cathrine but have not watched the more recent episodes it has been awhile, maybe I will "lick my wounds" and tune in sometime.:)

Now on topic.In respect to the bed scene,heather it depends how they do it.CSI is mainly a crime show and it should stay that way.But let's say that Catherine has a really emotional episode that is devoted to her and we see the scene as a part of a big storyline,I can see it.They writers until now have done their relationship very nicely so It can be good.
