You know I should be upset that the Men's Canadian Hockey team lost last might but I'm not. I'm pleasantly pleased that the overpriced egotistical players got shot down by the American Team. I sometimes feel that the Canadian players feel it's their right to win and it's not. Although I didn't watch the game last night the American appeared to be the better team.

That's the thing... our guys worked their butts off. We outshot the US 2 to 1, but our goalie was a freaking sieve! He should have been pulled after the second goal. I'm totally p.o'd at the Canadian coach. I don't understand why he didn't play Luongo.

Both articles are really quite sad, yet for different reasons.
I am looking forward to the women's figure skating. I think it's a very calming, almost hypnotic event.

Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir of Canada just won gold in Ice Dance. They are the youngest pair to ever win gold and are also the only North American pair to ever win gold. I am so happy right now. Those two have such chemistry and their skate was flawless.

Ah well, there will always be naysayers. What can you do? It doesn't detract from the accomplishments of the winners to me- sour grapes only reflect badly on the people expressing them, in my opinion.
