Thank you sooo much for the nice feedback. I really apperciate it!.
Here's a short update for you:
„You gotta be kidding us, Adam. You cannot be serious! Stella‘s never mentioned any relatives of Frankie…I can‘t believe this whole stuff is coming back now! We have to solve this case faster as it‘s possible. I don‘t want to bedevil Stel with this anymore. I‘ll meet her tomorrow in the hospital. I can‘t help asking her about that. As sorry as I am. And now guys back to work!“ , Mac said discomposedly. „Sure, Mac. We totally agree with you.“ ,his team answered.
Mac went back to his office to do some researches on Frankie‘s family. But even after hours he hadn‘t found anything. ‚How‘s that possible? How can some one just disappear like that‘ He checked his clock. 8 a.m.. I‘ll see Stella now. ‚It‘s about time. I have to talk with her, but I don‘t know how to do this without hurting her. But she‘s tough. She‘s gonna make. I hope.‘
At the hospital Mac immediately found Stella‘s room. When he entered, he saw her sitting in her bed and dreamily looking out of the window. „Morning, Stel. I brought your coffee. How‘re you doing today?“ , he greeted her. „Aww, Mac you‘re an angel. Thanks. Umm much better today, but I‘m still trying to remember anything. Did you find anything at the scene?“ „Yes we did. That‘s why I want to talk with you. If you can‘t do this just tell me. First of all we found some DNA.“ „Ok sounds good. Who does it belong to?“ „Well, that‘s the problem the belong to…to…an first-degree relative of…“ Mac hesitated. „Of who, Mac?“ „Frankie.“ „I‘m not in the mood for kidding, Mac. How‘s that possible?“ „That was what I wanted to ask you. Did Frankie ever mentioned any relatives? I know this must be hard for you. But you‘re the only person, we can ask.“ „I don‘t want this to come back. I thought I‘m done with it…“ She couldn‘t go on speaking, tears stopped her. „Mac…Mac I don‘t want to stay in this hospital any more it‘s reminding me of so much…Please…can I go home…“ „Sure Stel whatever you want. I‘ll just ask a nurse for your papers, ok?“ He said and hugged her as if he‘d never have the possibility to do this anymore. „Thanks, Mac. You know how much that means to me.“ Stella said, gulping back her tears. After they had stayed few endless minutes like that Mac went away to talk to a nurse.
When Mac found a nurse to talk to he asked: „Sorry. May I ask you something?“ „Sure. Who are you?“ „I‘m Det. Taylor and my partner Det. Bonasera is laying in that room over there and she‘s asking to go home. She said you‘ve already checked her. So why does she have to stay here?“ „Det. Taylor we wanted to send her home this afternoon. We think she can‘t stay at home alone now. Or do you know where she can stay until she won‘t be shaken up that much?“ „Okay. That won‘t be a problem. Could you please give me her papers. I‘ll take her.“ „No problem. Just wait few minutes.“ „Sure.“ After five minutes the nurse came back carrying Stella‘s papers. „Well. You have to sign here and your partner next to it. And then you two can go.“ „Thank you.“ Mac said and went back to Stella‘s room. „Stella I got the papers. You have to sign right here and then we can go.“ After Stella had signed she asked Mac: „But where do I stay now? I don‘t want to go home. It‘s freakin‘ me out to be so lonely.“ „No problem, Stel. I‘ve got an extra room.“ Mac said smiling and grabbed her hand.
