The photos of the day!

+ the colors are good, it is a very interesting mosaic.
- changing the orientation to portrait and making sure that it is centered would have made it a little better.

Here is mine, I took this a couple of year ago.

+ The contrast of the dark tree to the sunset works very well.
- The horizon line is at a slight upward angle. This makes the right side of the photo larger than the left.

I took this the other day when I was out to lunch with my aunt. She thought I was being a bit weird but understood when she say the photos.

+ I like the concept. Frost on a tree on a winter's day, it doesn't get a lot cosier then that :)
- There's maybe too many branches. It makes the pic look blurry. Zooming out might've worked better.

I took this one after a long summer's day. I thought the sky looked beautiful.

Cheers

The photo was taken zoomed out.

+ Very nice concept. The colors work well.
- It's very busy. My eye had a hard time staying in one spot.

Something that is crazy, I actually had a copy of the sunset picture that I submitted last time where I had straitened out the horizon, but uploaded the wrong one when I uploaded it.

_Hush_
+ Beautiful picture, I like the colors, the pattern in the sky, the coastline, the silhouette of the people. Beautiful
- the only thing, I would use a photo manipulation software to "erase" the tower on the right hand side, it is just a little distracting.

Here is mine for the day, I took this at a rose garden

+ The concept is a great idea. Love the outdoor photos.
- The gazebo captured my attention first, I know the water is the main focus. Perhaps cropping it down a bit or bluring out the gazebo.

My cat was being a cute little fuzz ball so I snapped a few photos of him.

+ cute kitty, nice composition, I like that you are zoomed in as far as you are,
- The camera focused on the chest of you cat, making the face of the cat slightly blurry, focusing on the face (or eyes) would take care of this.

Mine for today, a random mountain from one of my hikes.

He's a very mobile subject...have to get photos when I can.

Amy777
+ The concept and composition work very well.
- The trees are a bit distracting. As is the half shadow half light. Either or would have helped because the eye has issues discerning which to look at.

Another shot of the cat. This time he was looking and being semi attentive.

Well when the sun is shining and there's no flash on there isn't much to get rid of it. Even with my picture program it can't take everything out.

+ Overall the composition is very good. Nice use of odd verses even subjects.
- The grass is distracting from the windmills. Perhaps moving more to the right and zooming in a bit would have helped.

Here's another in the snow photo....getting really tired of shoveling. But the photos I get are awesome! :)

+This is a really beautiful photo, I like how the trees frame the photo and I love looking at snowy pictures. I'm not sure why, but the composition is really pleasing to look at. Basically I just really like this one.
- The only thing I don't really like is the power line just above the halfway mark, but apart from electrocuting yourself cutting it down (and I don't want that to happen, your pictures are too nice) there's nothing you can do about it.

Here's a one from me from my Geology trip to Folkestone, Kent back in November. We had to walk over 2 miles of rocks like that and they were really slippery lol.

+ The sky is great, the horizon is strait and the water is beautiful, this is a very interesting picture.
- I would have taken a few steps to the right, it would decrease how much of the picture is just of the hillside.

My contribution for today:

CalleighD
+ Wow this photo reminds me of when I was in Canterbury, Kent and we went to see the White Cliffs of Dover. Amazing view wyou have here.
- Would have liked to see a bit more water.

Amy777
+ The composition is very nice and works will with the angle.
- The green trees do make a nice frame but are a bit distracting to the eye.

Here's another fun snow photo. :)

Wolfsgamergirl
+ Beautiful photo, it looks like a giant Christmas tree. I love snow pictures. I like the surrounding trees that are devoid of leaves but still have a beauty that only the snow of winter can give them.
- On the right side of the photo, there is a little bit of house that kind of mirrors the edge but sticks out some, I think it would be better if that was not there, cropping the picture to eliminate this would work. It was kind of distracting for me.

Mine for today, talk about snow pictures,

Amy777
+ The concept is very nice. The contrast of the light snow and the dark trees works well.
- The trees furthest back are darker than the rest and they tend to blend in. Perhaps moving or editing out would have helped, my eye tended to hit the dark point.

Here's mine for today, took this the other day when I was running errands.
