and I was also expecting the film to last longer than it did, but it was a good film to watch. :)
It depends, did you watch the Director's Cut version? Because it's longer (and better).
I really like that movie, most of all thanks to the great soudtrack (Hans Zimmer rules). And all the knights are HOT

No I didn't, just the regular version. It wasn't short a movie, but I was expecting it to be a little longer.

I agree, the Knights were very yummy indeed. :D

^Lol, I just brought myself to watch Health Inspector, something about crude humor, just cracks me up, You ever farted so hard your back cracked?

King of New York...for like the fiftieth time.
If you haven't seen it, it's incredible. I watched it originally for Caruso (which he's fabulous in) but I've fallen in love with it.

The last film I watched was Bernado's Bertolucci's 2004 The Dreamer's. Now, keep in mind that I rented this solely for the fact that is stars Eva Green, one of my favourite actresses. But after it finished I cannot begin to fathom how odd & unique this film was. The relationship between Theo & Isabelle was creepy & it was because they're brother & sister. Despite that I have to admit that I slightly enjoyed it. It's definitely not your run of the mill Hollywood film. I'd describe it as an intellectual film, one that you need patience & an open mind for. It also draws on the spectacular films of the past. If you enjoy cheap laughs & excess amounts of violence then this probably isn't a film for you. It's an intelligent, well directed & well acted film with such a fantastic cast that includes, of course, Eva Green. The soundtrack is fantastic as well & flows quite well with the subject of this film. It also draws upon the 1968 Paris student riot & of course, the love of classic films which brought all three characters together. Oh, and this is *way* different from the Eva Green seen in Casino Royale. She still rocks & looks gorgeous as ever! She showcases her comedic side which is quite good, mind you.

I saw "Breed" and "The Fast & the Furious: Tokyo Drift" with my friend.

The first one was a kinda horror movie but with bioengineered German shepherds and nobody survived. Oo Even not Hill Harper. :(

But it was a good movie.

Fast and Furious was also great. I liked the music better than the music from the first two movies. And the drifting scenes were so awesome. :D

Yurek I've edited your post to include spoiler tags, as anyone who has not seen the movie might not wish to know who survives and who doesn't. ;)

The Family Stone. I enjoyed this movie, it was funny, sad and just entertaining. It had a very good cast and I liked the storey line (basically your worst fear when meeting your boyfriends family for the first time - they all hate you.).

The Libertine. Now with this film I had no idea what to expect, it has very mixed reviews. Anyway I thought it was friggin' awesome! I loved everything about this film and Samantha Morton was amazing. :D

I saw a couple movies with friends tonight. The first movie we watched was Stay Alive, I think the only thing that kept me interested was that it was based off of true events. The second movie we watched was Steven King's Rose Red, that movie was superb. I thought the plot was interesting plus you see the characters decend into madness, which is always interesting.

Just found a DVD in my closet, that I had forgot about having, EdTv. Even though I've watched this years ago, I rewatched it again and laughed more this time, I guess since I'm older, some of the stuff is a lot funnier now, gotta love Matthew McConaughey movies!

wait a minute, how is stay alive based on true events? isnt it about a video game that kills people? some friends and i were going to watch that on a scary movie night, but if its not good we wont bother

anyhoo, i finally got to watch bon cop bad cop! got a copy with working subtitles this time  id say more than half the movie is in french, and the humour is very canadian so im not sure how it would be perceived by non-canadians. i thought it was great, and very funny. the scene where detective bouchard beat up rick mercers character was fabulous :D also great if you, like me, think hockey fans are crazy

My friend told me that the story of the woman who killed young girls for their blood was true, and that she had done reports on her.

ok i get it, i thought you meant the video game part of it was true  i thought it might be one of those 'based on true events' things like silence of the lambs or texas chainsaw massacre, where nothing in the movie actually happened in real life

The last film I saw was United 93 and it was amazing, brilliantly shot, acting was wonderful and really made you feel like you were there. It was a pretty intense experience watching it on DVD i only wish i'd gone the cinema to see it I thought it was that good and very well-handled considering the sensitive issue.
