Oh yes. I think his first appearance with the beard was on Extra (9/03). It seemed like quite a few fans hated it at first, but eventually learned to love it. Rumor is TPTB had a fit when he showed up bearded but apparently he won the battle. And aren't we glad.

YUP- I lived in San Diego at the time and it was in the entertainment section ot Time mag. and I showed my boss- and we both went WOW- the article stated that it was a "big deal" for CSI fans-and I saved the mag. want ot make a small wager that it's back for the start of S/7

Now I can watch SoLV and LHB over and over w/o the beard. Of course we know why. But I'm not a big fan of the beard-less eppies.


What if Billy began with the beard and then shaved it for Season 7? Imagine 6 HOTT years with a beard. WOW!!!!

when Sara comes up to him and they say sth to each other (what will it be i wonder... ),

and I would LOVE to see Billy at the Bellagio, I love the pool there too, my husband and I were in Vegas for Valentines day..

But he is just as good looking with the beard too, I have said this before, like two different men, but just as good looking
