I agree Wendy and Archie would be cute together, but there are things I like about Wendy/Hodges too. Though I'm mostly a Greg/Riley shipper, I wouldn't mind Wendy/Greg. :D That scene from Spellbound sounds cute. I didn't remember it.

I see what you mean. Right now I'm leaning toward Greg/Riley, partially because I love the dynamic and partially because it just seems like an easier and less depressing one to ship in comparison to Greg/Wendy (given how little hope there is for the latter, in the wake of Wedges). That said, Greg/Wendy has a cooler ship name. I've written some Wedges, more by default, but can't quite get into actually shipping it.

I would love to see Wendy with Nick, but Greg would be more realistic for Wendy. I do not, I repeat, DO NOT want to see her with Hodges. It would ruin the character IMO. Totally ruin everything I like about her. Wendy is cool and hilarious, and Hodges...isn't. I'll be damned if he suck the greatness out of Wendy!

Greg/Riley would be cute I suppose, but I'm waiting for Riley to grow on me a little bit more.
 
Hodges should be alone IMO.I love him but mainly his awkward self.

And I need to warm again to Greg before liking any pairing he is in.

GSR would have been better had they introduced some flirty moments with them.I just have this image of Grissom as a father figure to Sara that I can't shake of my head.

I am normally not much into ships in Vegas but I liked once in a while to watch Grissom with Lady heather or Yobling to see some real tension!!!
 
Just read an article with George Eads stating he could see Catherine and Nick in a romantic relationship.

I thought it was interesting because he stated years ago he didn't think Nick would date anyone at work and then in season seven he swore of work relationships in a conversation with Warrick.

Now he's all for a CatNip..that would be so cool. Older woman, younger man. I'd be all happy for it! I think they have great chemistry.

The new girl's name is Riley. :) The new guy is Ray. Funny how both characters start with "R" and both actors' names start with "L" (Laurence and Lauren). :D

About Cath/Nick, I'm not particularly into the pairing, but it wouldn't bother me that much. :lol: And in the first episode of the series, they had actually filmed a scene with a Cath/Nick kiss, but then it ended up on the cutting room floor because tptb decided against pairing them together. I told my dad about that and he was like "Cath and Nick? I don't think that would work." :lol:

I actually like the idea of a crossover pairing between Nick and Calleigh. :) A lot of people like the idea of a crossover pairing between Cath and Horatio and I'm not really feeling that. They look like they could be sibs to me. :lol:

I cannot see CatNip at all. I love Cath, but I don't think Nick is the right guy for her at all. Nick has always struck me as more introverted and guarded, and I don't think that dynamic would work with Catherine as well. If Greg were older, then I think Greg/Cath would work better, though I'd still definitely take Cath/Warrick over any of the other Cath ships any day. The other people I can see Cath with are Ray and Grissom.

And to Cath/Horatio... I can't imagine it, though that is probably more of an indication of my own dislike of Horatio. Catherine is an intriguing, complex and well-developed character. Horatio seems like a cardboard caricature in comparison. And I just don't think he's cool enough to roll with Catherine. That said, I think Catherine wouldn't be afraid to tell Horatio to knock it off with the sunglasses and cheesy one-liners.

I think it would be cool, but having said that, they are such good friends a romance might ruin it.

I'm still all for a Nick and Mandy romance because those two are so cute together.

The same here. I also think that everything that was wrong with GSR, would be still wrong with Catherine /Nick. I can't see TPTB making the same mistake twice.

TPTB already scratched out the Nick/Catherine storyline in the past because "it didn't feel right". Today, it still doesn't feel right; we've seen developing their relationship as co-workers and friends but that's all. There's no sexual tension between them.
Besides, many Catherine/Warrick shippers agree that the writers made Yobling ( a sort of) canon in "For Warrick". It was Catherine (not Nick or Grissom) who had Warrick's key and when she arrived, Sara went directly to say "I'm sorry" to Catherine, as she was acknowledging her feelings.

Catherine and Warrick, that was a hot couple! I never understood why they didn't go for Yobling instead of GSR.

My first CSI (all three CSI's) ship was Grissom/Cath. When GSR came around it left me so dumbfounded that I stopped watching Vegas and discovered Miami. Which is good cause I discovered the beauty that is hiphuggers :). Then I went back and saw that Cath and Warrick really had something and where just plain hot together. As a distant third I saw Cath/Nick but not with the same hotness factor as Cath/Warrick or the same chemistry and fit as Cath/Grissom. I guess I wouldn't mind it but definitely not my first choice.
 
I don't see Nick and Catherine romantically together. They don't fit.

Greg and Riley are a no-no. They act more like brother and sister.

Nick and Riley. I enjoy the vibe between them. I sense some sparks/tension in their scenes, and hope they build them together as friends first.
 
^ I definitely disagree about Greg/Riley. I think their dynamic, at the moment, is one of friends, but not of brother and sister. I would not ask my brother about whether he's ever been tied up. I see a lot of chemistry between Greg and Riley.

As to Nick and Riley, I get the feeling that Nick doens't like Riley very much. I don't see any chemistry between the two of them.

Overall, I just can't see Nick hooking up with any of the main cast ladies, past or present (so Cath, Riley, Sara, Sofia). I can definitely imagine him with Mandy, in a crossover ship with Calleigh, or possibly with Lindsay or Natalia.

Yeah, I agree they don't mix, but I don't think Nick dislikes Riley, I think he just finds her a bit of a pain to deal with sometimes.

As much as I like the idea of Nick and Catherine, I have to agree with you because I don't see Nick wanting to date anyone on the team because he did say to Warrick he doesn't agree in dating someone you work with because you don't get time away from one another.

So dating Mandy or even Wendy would be a safer bet because it would be mean away from one another. I could see him going that route.

A cross-over..interesting idea. I think Natalia would be a good woman for him and I only say that because the other two are taken:lol:
 
I definitely agree that Greg/Riley are not very brother/sister like. I have a brother and whenever we're watching a movie together and he makes a comment about a certain part of a girl's body, it makes me very uncomfortable as I imagine it would most people. So, the idea of talking to my brother about whether or not he likes to be tied up just seems gross to me. So, I definitely don't see anything brother/sister like with those two. :lol:

I can't see Nick and Riley together though. To me, they just haven't had enough interaction with each other to really define whether they have chemistry or not.

I definitely could see Nick with Mandy though. I squee every time I watch him singing to her. I giggle a lot during it too. It's just so cute. If I were her, I would have been blushing like crazy. :lol: I also could see Nick with Calleigh. Nick and Lindsay? Nah... can't see that one. :lol: Greg and Lindsay, possibly, but not Nick and Lindsay. Archie and Lindsay might be cute too. :lol: Nick and Natalia? Hmm... that's interesting... never thought of that before. However, considering that Natalia's ex-hubby was named Nick, I'm not so sure she'd want to date anyone else with that name... however nice and hot they may be (because her hubby sure wasn't nice). :lol:
