That's the one scene they did allow Greg to show he was worried about Nick but it was so subtle and quick, it wasn't noticed that much.

Hey Welcome back to the Fort Shacky!

Oh and last nights ep sucked as far as any love scenes go, and if you blinked you might have missed Greg altogether. Next week they are re-airing A La Cart.
 
Hey again.... And yes, last night's show wasn't big on "The Love", but it showed why I love CSI still after all these years...

God I remember watching GD still, sitting almost in this same spot....And yes, I definitely felt jipped since, 1. We got to see everyone else's expression, but just not Greg's... 2. We rarely get to see just Greg expression's, especially about Nick so yeah, again just jipped. and 3, since I make video's it was the perfect angst clip I've always wanted, it would have been perfect for so many of my angst video's, and GD video's, but hey, I'll take what I can get, and we did get some..

thanks for the screen caps, Shacky! You should have come to last night's chat...it was so fun!

In that one, where you get as close to Greg's face as it was in that clip when they started the live feed, he looks kinda like he's about to hyperventalate...I know because that's what I look like when I'm really upset. People mistake it for consentrated or bored...but then they realize how it is when I start crying five second after they ask, "Am I boring you?" (I can go from happy to crying&hyperventalating very spontaniously.) So, yeah. and, he leaves kinda quick after that...maybe to go do something to help find Nick...or go cry? :( That's what i woulda done.

Just my thoughts on the subject.

I've been getting that itch to start writing again....so yeah, petting me always helps, what can I say, I just a feedback whore..... Any how many of you have LJ sites???? I'm always looking for more friends, and my fic and video's, plus my page of recs is over at my LJ site...

All this talk makes me want to watch GD again, and yes, I agree with whoever said "Fannysmackin" was much slashier, eventhough they never had a scene together, just watching Nick throughout that whole episode, the anger, frustration, and pure almost fear for Greg, regret that he wasn't there, and a pure need to protect him, like in "Post Mordem" as well.......

Oooohhh! Shacky!!! Hii! lol. I LOVED those caps. There's just so much angst going on, but if you look at some of them, like the one where he's running, or the one where he's just found the crack in the floor there's hope on his face. And that last one, there's determination in his eyes that makes me want to stare into them forever. It's like he's saying "You can't take Nick away from me. And you won't." Love em'!

I also agree that Fannysmackin' was the better ep, mainly because I like Greg that much more, cause I love Eric more. And I've noticed that people, when they write fanfic, tend to hurt their fav characters worse, putting them through the wringer, just so they can have a happy ending (usually) or cuddle with the person's second fav character. You know what I mean? So there can be some comforting going on. I mean, in half of my stories, ok, over half, I trample all over Greg, but Nick is always there to hold him and keep him steady no matter what, and I love that loyalty and devotion.
Well, anyway, I've got to go. Lots of work to get done, and hopefully, a new story to post one of these days. ttyl.

Okay, back on topic. I am working on the story. I'm...one third done. I think. Maybe a little more, maybe a little less. It's painful for me, but I have to write GSR AND Yo!Bling to be cannon. Because it's an episode. And, a ALSO, I have to wrote EVERYONE IN CHARACTER! The upside fo this? I can say the Nick/Greg in it is cannon, because there's no proof against it. And, anyone who challanges that, I CHALLANGE YOU TO A BOWL-OFF! GRR! I WILL win. Okey-dokey? Okey-Dokey.

Right. I agre this most otehrs on here. Fannysmackin' was a better epi for angst. ANd, i agree with Queen. You write your favorite characters in danger, so aht they can run into the arms and be cuddled by the character you fancy them with. In this case, Greg in danger was great for us, because it showed Greg in danger, and Nick bein REALLY broken about it. On of the top ten moments. I'll see it I can find a screencap of it. Or, on The Love youtube group, Twins did seperate vids of the top ten moments. you can Youtube "Nick/Greg top ten moments." The one called "jaw clench" is from Fannysmackin'. It shows a lot of raw emotion from Nick.

And, after bouncing randomly off subjects, I bid you adue! Did I violate the number of lines aloud about the Nick/Greg relationship per post? Oh, sorry! I just love 'em too much.

Oh, yes, my partner in crime Only_true_love, I have kidnapped Greg from Elle. She is being mean. it's not physical hurt, but it's mental. I stole Greg because he's really sad, and Nick is acussing him of all kinds of things. so I stole him. hehe. The story is called "Something Like That." and it's really good. I'll give Greg back. Eventually...

Yuck she really irritates me, shes such a poser. Looking forward to your stories by the way Katlynn888. Anywho cruddy episode last night for the LOVE. Good amount of Nicky but only one scene with Greggo. Thank god for Spike reruns of season seven. Hopefully in two weeks we will get some better hot boy action. Until then we must recall the great moments past for the LOVE. Heres a random caps of the boys to keep is all going.

I personally love it when Nick is about to punch Pig and he turns around and gives this smile to Warrick and Warrick just shakes his head. That's one interesting smile Nicky! <3
 
I agree FannySmackin was a better epsiode as far as Greg goes, and for the Love moments and subtext. But GD wins for the angst. I think i'd rather get beaten up in an alley then be trapped in a coffin for 12 hrs and eaten alive by ants! Don't get me wrong, I love Greg and it was very hard to watch his attack (still is) I just think Nick's ordeal was worse, just not as hard to watch because I'm not in love with Nick.

So I have a question, it seems from all I've read on the fort that most love fans are in love with either Greg or Nick. For me its Greg and that seems to be the majority but am I right? How many love Greg, how many love Nick? Does anyone love them both equally?

Ahhhh good question there Wojo.

The cynic in me says that whist Grave Danger was the best angst episode to air, the fact that it was a two parter meant that Nick migh've come out alive or not.... I only say that on hinsight thought.... I remember watching it at the time and I was in awe. Excellent work of drama.

Why did QT fail to recognise Greg in that episode more???

Grave Danger was a bad episode for Greg... IT did make him out to be a bit of a loser. Ouch! Sorry...

Fannysmackin- It really pains me to see this episode. Why? Maybe i knew that Nick Stokes can look after himself, but poor Greg... can he really be stronger than Nick?

I really hated this episode, seeing Greg being attacked and left for dead, really affected me, and to this day still does.
Yes Nick is still a person ( well u know what i mean), but Greg, I see him as well more vunrable- sorry spelling msitake!


Right to answer your question Wojo...

I happen to love both Nick and Greg equally. Why? Simply because they are two halves of a divided heart. Alone, they dont work, but together they beat strongly...

Sad right?
 
Candygirl, you take the words out o fmy over-talkative mouth! lol. Yes, I love Nick and Greg equaly. They are two parts of the same heart and niether is really more important than the other in my book. Nick and Greg are...I don't really know how to explain it. But, I can't really choose one over the other. But, Fannysmackin' pained me more than Grave Danger. As you said, Nick can handle himself, but I'm not so sure about Greg. But, I think that ACTUALLY watching the attack, was less painful for me than Grave danger.

I know that contradicts (sp?) the above statement, but I knew that once Nicky recovered, he'd be okay, just...different, you know? I mean, everyone has their problems. But, for Greg, I mean...I'd be hard for him to get past it. Just like after the lab exploded in "Play with Fire" Greg coiuldn't even handle being in the lab after that. His hands shook and that's what crove him to become a CSI. But, after the attack, it would be kind of like he'd be afraid of the whole world, you know? I was actually kind of afraid he'd be leaving for a couple of episodes there...

And, I kow I'm going way too in depth for such a simple question, so I'll shut up now.

Well, as for the question, I love the idea that they are both half of a whole and are nothing when separated. That's just so sweet! But, I still have to say, Eric was my first love, and thus, Greg won my heart long before I ever even thought about poor Nicky.
LOL, it's funny that you guys are back at it, kidnapping Greg! Though, I'm sure you'll come after me soon enough when I get the merman fic written. And now, I'm gonna have to go find this story you speak of! ttyl!
