It has been announced that the Jack/Ianto relationship will become more prominant and stronger in Season 2. I'm one very happy fangirl... can't wait for January!

 

I think more people would start to love it simply because then EVERYONE would have to acknowledge that they're actually in a relationship. By that, I mean that there's people who don't want to be open about liking it (or being gay, in other cases...) and so it would just bring in a bunch of people...and besides, it'd open people's eyes again.

Hang on...I know it's (Torchwood) Is supposed to be showing soon...but when? I found out, then forgot, so...Uh..

I'm pretty sure Torchwood is September 8 in the US. I was watching one of the promos for it on YouTube, and I must say I was impressed. I'm sure you'll enjoy it too. Lots of slash.

And yes, it is about time CSI acknowledged Nick/Greg. With all these other shows starting to include gay relationships between the characters, CBS cannot argue that they aren't wanted and will ruin shows. I mean, look. Brokeback Mountain and Queer as Folk are primarily about gay relationships and are huge. And then other shows are starting to include them - even an Australian medical drama is about to hook up two of the guys (not that I watch it). And given the history of Nick and Greg, it's no big leap.

Bring on more Nick/Greg!


EDIT: Just double checked. BBC America, Saturday September 8 at 9pm. Not sure what timezone. One for the calender, my friends. And, word of warning - the series does lag a little in the middle, but it gets better!

I just hope that at least thought about it ONCE. Even if it wasn't an official brainstorm, but just two of TPTB talking casually.

They could come up with some amazing stories with a relationship and it wouldn't even have to revolve around them being gay (or bi or whatever).

That's why I wouldn't care if CSI ended in a few years and they did something right at the end!

 

If Nick and Greg work together more than once this season I'll be happy. I think TPTB are either too dense or too scared to pair up our boys. It would be great but unfortunatly I don't see it happening anytime soon (if at all).

The chemisty is there, how can they not see it? Maybe they are afraid that a romantic scene between Nick & Greg would be so hot the set would burn down.

I think there's three possible positions TPTB are in...either they know and have something planned, they know and don't care/don't like it, or they don't know and just need a couple hundred pushes in the right direction...Which wouldn't be too hard.

I'm sure there's more, but those seem most logical. And they can't just say they want the show to be strictly about science, because there was the Sara/Grissom relationship, and THAT was absolutely not-science.

....8th? I think I liked the 3rd more. The 8th would be the weekend before my birthday...we're scheduled to have company. Maybe I'll end up taping it....

 

Regarding TPTB-

They actuarly do know about the "LOVE", I personally thinkg that CBS are actuarly scared to put a prodomintly (SP) gay relationship in mainstream tv show, other than say a comedy.
I personally think that its bad, Or they are planning for that at the end, and by that time, it will fail anyway.

I mean I know people who say that they can't see it, and it's only what we see. For some people who cant see it they just really cant. I know of some people who are gay friendly etc, and they inform me that they can't see anything going on....

But each to their own- It would smack them funny, if they actuarly saw a scene done correctly and sensitivly where the clues are so there.

We see Catherine with her boyfriends, Gil with Sara, Sara before Gil, Gil with Lady Heather, and before that Terry....

We even see Warrick married, even before that he checked out the ladies....

But are we ment to be fooled buy Greg's talking to his girlfriend on the phone? Who probably turns out to be his femal friend, or his mother.

Oh and lets not forget the times that Nick had a female partner. Sorry Not gilfriends. One i shall call random roberta... The other one a prostitute. Not exactly going to Walmart for their weekly shopping now is it?

Well as Twins know I didnt see what fans of The Love see!! I always thought it was more freidnly flirting between the 2 of them. Nick has flirted with Catherine and I've also seen flirting between Greg and Sara. But of course now I realize the flirting between Nick and Greg is not always just that. There is definately an attraction to each other!! My biggest argument~ Nick checking out Greg's butt! I cant blame him for doing that but that's beside the point. I have NEVER seen Nick check out anyone like that amoungst the team or in general!!!

 

NO your correct he hasn't. I peresonally think that they spend too much time investigating scientiic reasons for crime, flirting is there escapism.

Hmmm wait the new season 8, starts with A La Cart? I am so confused, I remember Twins saying 11 days, and I was all excited.

I had a feeling they were flirting, but then again, I was too busy drooling over Nick to notice in general. Though I picked up Catherine was flirting with Nick not vice versa.

 

No, about a month until "Dead Doll" on Sept. 27.

"A La Cart" is going to be a good Nick/Greg episode, that's episode 2 and it's airing on October 4.

Catherine has to flirt will every guy. She does it to make her feel younger.

Yes, Greg had whatever he had with Sara, that was canon. However, she's always wanted Grissom and now their mostly like brother and sister. Even Carol said so.

I don't see Sara and Nick. IMO that's a spoof of a relationship. It's only for fun and not really serious.
