Talk Law & Order Here

Re: Talk Law & Order Here.

Two dollars? Hmmm, that'd be at least a thousand pesos if I convert it to my currency. Hmmm...well, I guess I should start saving then as a last resort. I'll ask my friends if they have a copy of it first before I shell out any dough. :)

'Law & Order' Cop Jesse L. Martin Loses Belongings to Real-Life Thieves in Buffalo, NY

TV cop Jesse L. Martin became a real-life crime victim after returning to his hometown to shoot a film.

The "Law & Order" star was eating breakfast in a restaurant Monday signing autographs and even offering career advice to the cook, a would-be stand-up comic when someone broke into a sport utility vehicle and stole his luggage, video iPod and dozens of autographed photos.

"He's lived in New York City for 20 years and has never been robbed or a victim of theft," director Peter McGennis said. "He comes back here and in two days he gets fleeced."

Martin, 37, was in Buffalo to film scenes for McGennis' independent movie "Buffalo Bushido." He flew back to New York City with only the clothes on his back and his wallet.

A graduate of the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts, Martin plays Detective Ed Green on the NBC series.

Hargitay Returns To SVU
<SNIP>
Mariska Hargitay will make her return to "Law & Order: SVU" next week, bringing the storyline that took her character away from the show full circle.

Re: Talk Law & Order Here.

I'm so glad she's coming back. I like Beck, but Benson is way, way better.

Re: Talk Law & Order Here.

Rock on I love SVU!!!! DId anybody watch SVU last night...Benson was back!!!! Oh and in the previews I wonder if she actually witnesses Stabler kissing Beck?!?!?! I think...they are trying to show that Benson has feelings for Stabler?!?!?! Not sure though.

Re: Talk Law & Order Here.

Olivia is back and it is great. Can't believe how much I have missed her. Mariska looks great. I doubt she sees Stabler kissing Beck, but I wonder if another member of the SVU team does. I think Olivia and Elliot have a very deep friendship one that teeters on that invisible line. It has grown stronger over the past 8 years. If they do decide to cross that line, we the viewer will most likely never see it. Dick Wolf doesn't work like that. Which ironically is fine with me. I'm more interested in the working part of their relationship and the storyline.

Re: Talk Law & Order Here.

I agree...I don't think we will see anything romantically between the two. it would be hidden. I just think they are showing subtle signs of Benson falling for Stabler...like her calling out Elliot's name in her sleep. Interesting...you usually don't do something like that unless you are thinking about that person a lot. ;)

Re: Talk Law & Order Here.

The CI ep was pretty good, at first I had some reservations about the parralle between their story and the JonBenet Ramsey case, but they did the ep imo tastefully and while there were similarities, they kept just this side to keep it different.

The SVU ep, didn't really hold my attention as well, while I am glad to see Mariska (Benson) back on the show, the ep seemed too lack excitement. First off they had Benson basically doing in Oregon that she did in New York. Second doing all this while undercover for the feds amazing, and third how long it took that case agent to get the message (a couple days) that she was needed back in NY, for a court date. I see the need to re-intro her back into the show but come on imo bad way to do it, I thought they would show part of her in Oregon and then part in New York. She was in New york for the last 3-5 mins of the ep.

As to romantical, the commerical gives the leeway of Beck and Stabler, but yet they said that Kathleen his wife will be making a couple appearances, but who knows with writers.

Also this really isn't a spoiler of any sort but if you believe Ausiello then...

Question: You said Mariska is back permanently on Oct. 31, but exec producer Neal Baer wrote in his blog that it's just a special thing. Which is it?
Ausiello: OK, I think I've got this figured out now. Mariska has a big episode on Oct 31, but she doesn't return full-time until Nov 28.

Question: I've heard rumors that Connie Nielsen's character will be killed off SVU during November sweeps. Do you have any scoop?
Ausiello: Not true. As a source at the show tells me, "There are a lot of other ways to leave the precinct."

I hope the "Mods" forgive me for double posting but in the next one I will list the spoilers for the next eps of the three shows, the catch is its what is available as of right now.

Re: Talk Law & Order Here.

Spoilers from the The Futon Critic

When the body of a high-profile hip-hop producer is found dead outside his studio, a hit-and-run calls Detectives Logan and Wheeler to the scene. As the investigation continues, business partners, clients and friends are all suspects with different motives. But when love becomes the ultimate motive, Captain Ross steps into a different role to catch the true killer.
When the body of a former child star is found beaten and murdered, Detectives Logan and Wheeler (Julianne Nicholson) discover a history of drug abuse and a secret headquarters in the back of an ice cream truck. When Logan and Wheeler decide to park the truck, they uncover ties to an Albanian mob, a counterfeiting operation and another former child star.
With the victims' pimp, Victor Dodine (guest star Michael Kenneth Williams) as the prime suspect, detectives must rely on one of his young girls Belinda "Passion" Holt (guest star Charlie Ray), to testify against him. This case rattles Beck in more ways than one.
An affluent executive at an armored vest company is gunned down as he arrives at his daughter's $2 million sweet 16 party and Detectives Green and Cassady quickly tie the incident to a U.S. soldier who was killed in Iraq when his vest failed. In court, the defense argues the shooter was mentally incompetent but A.D.A.s McCoy and Rubirosa press on refusing to cut a deal. Meanwhile, further investigating leads the detectives to a large supply of faulty vests that weren't destroyed but resold to a charity.
When unemployed television actor Mitch Carroll (guest star Chevy Chase) is arrested for drunk driving at 2 a.m. while wearing blood-stained clothes, Det. Ed Green and Nina Cassady find themselves the target of a drunken rant that reveals the actor's religious prejudices. The blood is soon discovered to belong to Carroll's former executive producer - but the case takes another turn when the same blood is found on Carroll's son John's (guest star Jaymie Dornan) shoes. A.D.A.s Jack McCoy and Connie Rubirosa must then argue the role the father's prejudice had leading up the crime to ensure justice is served.
Chris Drake (guest star Tim Peper) escorts two drunken women onto a party bus to film a scene for his movie company Babes Being Bad, and finds his friend Bryce Moore (guest star Daniel Cameron-Talbott) dead, making Chris an instant suspect. Using video as his alibi, Det Ed Green and Nina Cassady track down the suspect, Nicole Flynn (guest star Kim Shaw) and she admits to being on the bus questioning Chris about video footage he recorded of her while on spring break. Yet, as A.D.As Jack McCoy and Connie Rubirosa dig deeper more is exposed of Babes Being Bad and Nicole's story, leading to an unlikely conviction for the murder.
When convicted mass murderer Leon Vorgitch (guest star Craig Walker) kills two prison guards and escapes from prison, Det Ed Green and Nina Cassady rush to apprehend him but not before he ruthlessly murders two more innocent people. With Vorgitch already serving seven life sentences, District Attorney Arthur Branch urges A.D.A.s Jack McCoy and Connie Rubirosa to expedite the process and push for a guilty plea, but Vorgitch doesn't bite as an extended trial only means a delay in his transfer to a maximum security prison - and more time for him to escape. McCoy is then left with little option but to ask the judge to bypass the law and authorize a death penalty case.

Re: Talk Law & Order Here.

I have a question about the CI spoilers, in both spoilers the case involves Logan and Wheeler. I thought they alternated episodes with Goren and Eames. Does this mean that there may be a later episode that may be two continous episodes both with Goren and Eames.

I must say that the spoiler for Deadlock sound quite promising. Law & Order rarely does an action packed episode, so when they do it usually turns out well.

Re: Talk Law & Order Here.

Thanks Tinks.

As to CI Goren and Eames were in,
in #605 "Bedfellows" (Oct 17th)
in #606 ""Masquerade" (Oct 31st)

So I am guessing that is why Logan and Wheeler are in
#607 & #608

Normally they alternate, but my guess on this is that either they were shot out of order and this just happened or they go one set one week, one set another week, then occassionally each set will do two weeks then back. Not really sure on that.

That was so sweet. :D I cannot wait to find out what she thinks of what Elliot and Beck do next episode. That's in 1,5 weeks on right?

Tuesday's episode was very good, much better than the season premiere about the activists. Mariska looked fabulous.

I'm glad they not gonna kill Beck off, that would be so unoriginal. Maybe they fire her, it leaves room open for another guest appearance in the future. I didn't like her in the beginning, but she's grown me. Her character is interesting to watch, Stabler used to be to hot headed one, but now she is. I don't watch SVU that long, here in Holland season 6 is on TV and you clearly can see the difference.

Re: Talk Law & Order Here.

Oh yeah, loved "Infiltrated". :D I'm glad that Benson's back, but I don't think she'll be really back until the 9th eppy. Until then, we're gonna have to settle for Dani.

Speaking of which, I'm having a hard time accepting what I saw in the trailer. But as much as I'm against Dani and Elliot's budding relationship, I'd like to see how things turn out between him and Olivia now that a wrench is thrown in the works. ^_^
