Dean: New administration: a change you can believe in.

Bobby's grumpy.

Facilities, Dean? Who even says that anymore?

Bobby: I see you met John McCain here.

Sam: It's like grumpy old men.
Dean & Bobby: Shut up, Sam! :guffaw:

I love that Sam's finding Dean's predictament amusing.

Dean: Dude, I believe that he-witch gave you the clap.

Dean's 30? I thought he was younger than that.

Bobby: Shut up and dig, grandma.

 at Dean dancing.

Loved Bobby calling Dean an idgit several times.

Bobby: Are we done feeling our feelings because I'd like to get out of here before we both start growing lady parts.

Dean: Let's go, Ironsides.

Yeah, I can't wait for next week! That episode looks awesome, I laughed during tonight's episode

* just check out new siggy *

I got to watch that episode now just from reading stuff you guys are talking about unfortunatly I have to wait until tomorrow to watch it :( I just got to see the promo awhile ago, and loved the "Shut up Sam!" moment I can't wait to watch the whole episode. :)

Still haven't seen the latest episode. :(

Last night I was carving pumpkins, then putting my son to bed, then going to 4 haunted houses, so I didn't exactly have a chance to sit my happy a$$ down and watch the show. And today I don't stand a much better chance of catching it. My Nana got into town last night (while I was at the haunted houses) so it's time to entertain her... and then tonight I'm going to see my sister perform in the play Ragtime. After THAT, my friend wants to watch more 1st season SPN (which is fine by me since I'd love to see everything I skipped between season 1 and season 4)...

SO...

I guess I'll be watching the new ep tomorrow. *shrug* I'll just avoid reviews until then! :)

By the way, I've seen a very disturbing clip of the next episode my friend and I are going to watch, Skin, and I'm gonna have to make her cover her eyes. DAMN, this show can really be like a horror movie sometimes!

That episode was awesome.

I think I enjoyed it the most of the last few I've seen. Loved seeing lots of Bobby, loved Chad Everett as older Dean (he was totally spot on and I was impressed!), loved watching Sam pull a fast one on a 900 year old witch... that boy ain't no dummeh! I also found that sad bit with the two witches quite sweet actually. Oh, and I loved seeing the scene they filmed in the parking lot next door, of course... (rushes off to discuss with the girl in my office who watched the filming with me as well...)

Last nights episode was awesome, a nice break for the angel mythology, but i missed Cas. I loved watching (old)Dean attempt to hit on the maid. It was adorable.

Oh yeah, that scene was great! "You're just like my grandfather. He flirts with anything that has legs too. You're adorable." Dean's expression was great. Chad Everett nailed it!

Haha, last night's episode ROCKED!

I totally knew as soon as the he-witch clapped that Sam was going to walk away with that...

Old!Dean was hysterical. So awesome. And the scene at the end between Bobby and Dean was both touching and funny, which made it all the more awesome.

Fantastic episode (even without Cas). :D

great pumpkin Spoooky! i love the patterns from zombie pumpkins website!

wow, looks like i am in the minority over last nights episode. i thought it was very slow, borderline boring actually. i just felt like nothing really happened, they had an idea that didnt really fill the hour but they tried to drag it out anyway. i did enjoy old dean, that actor got deans mannerisms spot on!

very much looking forward to next weeks episode though. that one looks like a lot of fun.

Finally watched the epi. Like it , even if I miss Cas it was nice to get so much Bobby.
Oh Old-Dean and Bobby ::guffaw:

I like how they handled Sam's poker game. It's in chara with Dean,Bobby still wanting to protect him and treat him like a child. But Sam def. knows how to lie or manipulate people- he has his ways when he wants something (continuity since the first season...)

Glad they didn't kill off Patrick, have a soft spot for these Trickster kind of guys ...and Dean admiring Patrick's car stunt

About the last epi...ooooookay....I mean come on, just one thought and an angel is a toy :shifty:...maybe they use him again in the end, but for now I gladly ignore the whole Superman minus Kryptonite kid .
But liked the actor and the tooth fairy, the girl was great

After reading your posts I have to go watch a preview clip *g*

I agree with you. This episode was not good at all. I was really disappointed, as the episodes usually are speedy and have exciting or amusing demons/ghosts/myth or whatever the boys are hunting. But Patrick was plain dismal and uninteresting.

I'm somewhere in the middle. It's not the best episode I've seen, it's not the worst episode I've seen. The he-witch wasn't the best villain ever, wasn't the worst villain ever. It was good.

Chad Everett freakin' NAILED Jensen's Dean, though. I actually want to see old Dean again because it was so awesome! Loved the part with the maid -

Maid: "You're adorable!"
old!Dean: "And dangerous!"
Maid: "Awwww! *giggles*"

AH HA HA HA HA! Take THAT, Dean's massive ego!

There were a lot of funny bits in the episode. It wasn't a laugh riot from minute to minute, but there were still some classic moments. And the villain, though he wasn't the most vicious, terrifying or cunning, still had what I considered an air of charisma and near decency. He kept his cool (except when he had to deal with cheaters!), he really didn't play to kill people, he could accept being beat, he showed compassion to his mate when she wanted to die. I think he may have been one of the nicest enemies they ever knew ('cept for that one part when he was teasing Sam about Dean dying any minute).

Plus I love accents, so... I was easily sold on the he-witch. :D

What's bugging me is that Kripke is throwing together this string of Apocalypse-unrelated episodes... which would be fine last season, but this is supposed to be the last season. I'd really like to NOT leave the main story arch in the dust for half the season. I really am concerned about Sam saying yes to Lucifer. I really am concerned about Dean either saying yes to Michael or becoming a cold shell of a man like he did in the flashfoward episode. I really am concerned about the world ending. As much as I love episodes where goofy circumstances temporarily take over the lives of the brothers, I'm getting a little antsy to see them concentrate on the BIGGER PICTURE.

Plus... they only show Cas in Apocalypse-related episodes and I NEED MY FREAKING CASTIEL, DAMNIT.

*ahem* Yeah... :D

So I'm sure y'all have read about 5x09, The Real Ghostbusters. I'm a little apprehensive about this.

I loved the meta thing they had going with the comics and Becky: Superfan, but... a SPN convention IN THE FREAKING SHOW? Really? I sure hope they can pull this off... because otherwise it's just gonna be uncomfortable and embarrassing. I get the feeling it's gonna be both awesome AND awkward.

I'm also wondering... is this the first time a show has worked its own fandom so intricately into its reality? And isn't this just way too meta to even think about properly?

I get the feeling we may see the he-witch again. I really like the actor. Funny fact- yellow eyed demon was named Azael. The actor who played the he-witch (Hal Osman or something like that) played a fallen angel named Azael in the ABC Family Channel movie called "Fallen" (which stared The Vampire Diaries' Paul Wesley as a nephalim- sorry about the spelling). Anyway, the actor who played the he-witch was also the villian (or one of them) on the last season of Kyle XY. :) Since he wasn't 100% evil, I kind of feel like maybe the guys will ask him to help them with the fight against Lucifer.

Gina,

I think there's a chance of a sixth season. They have talked about it being a possibility.

About what you put in the spoiler code, I think this show has broken "the fourth wall" so many times already, once more can't hurt.
