Wow... I just realized that I'm actually gonna see John alive! I kept hearing about him in the 4th season and it'll be weird to backtrack and see him before. By the way...

Why did Alastair say that John went to Hell and was tortured for 100 years? It seems that demons use the truth as a weapon whenever possible, so... was this one of those times? Did John really go to Hell? Wait, do I want to know the answer? UGH, it's tough getting into a series in a later season!

Okay really big spoilers for the episodes in this so they give away key episode point for them.

Basically John agrees to go to Hell to save Dean who was going to die in the premiere and we see him escape from Hell in the last episode when he saves Dean and Sam from Yellow Eyes.

*tears at hair* Argh, I love spoilers and I hate spoilers! I'm gonna avoid reading them for now... even though I can almost see them in this very post because in order to quote you, I have to include the text of the spoilers in this post! AGH! *averts eyes*

Thank you for replying, though. I'll check the post again after I watch the first season (or do I have to watch more to get an answer?) and then say "ooooh yeah, she was totally right".

I think if you watch season two you will definetly get your answers I think so anyway. Sorry about the spoilers I own seasons 1-3 so I've seen all those episodes too much for my own good you could say  Also I recomend season 1 cause its got some wonderful episodes and you get some wonderful background stuff also a lot of season one has episodes that focus on urban legends which was why I feel in love with this show back then. :)

In this one you find out Dean's afraid of flying. I total related to that I hate flying too. :)

Quite alright, quite alright. Actually you aren't posting "spoilers" at all. Not really. It's only really a spoiler if it's just aired and you can't talk about it with people in areas where it may not have aired already. Seasons 1-4 are fair game at this point. :D

You know, I get the feeling that once I watch the first several seasons... I'll end up owning them too. I get REALLY obsessed with shows so I'll probably want to watch this stuff over and over... plus, my god, if I was ever to consider anything as evidence of the divine, it would be the existence of Jensen and Jared. They are GORGEOUS. That seems like reason enough to get the shows on DVD and watch them on endless loop.

I'm getting ready to start watching the first season either today or tomorrow. I'm actually bringing another person into it with me - my friend happened to watch the 5th season premiere with me back when it aired (there seemed to be nothing else worthwhile on TV at that time and we were bored). She thought it looked cool so she's agreed to watch the first season with me. Hooray for dragging more people into the madness!

Funny thing is my mom introduced to me to Supernatural and then I got my little sisters and my bf addicted to it now too. I love introducing people to this show, you are sure to enjoy season one I know I did.

Right on! Recruiting more minions to the cause, very nice! :D

Here's how I know I've thoroughly fixated on Supernatural and that it's my new obsession - everything is reminding me of it.

I go to a restaurant with a friend and we see a picture of Frank Sinatra. My friend remarks that she thinks guys with dark hair and blue eyes are sexy. IMMEDIATELY I think to myself "then you're gonna love Castiel, he's got dark hair and blue eyes!"

We drive home from the restaurant and I see an old Impala... and freak out. Unfortunately it was a "douched up" Impala with pimped out rims and some sort of sparkly red paint job... but the body was JUST LIKE Metallicar!

Even one single word can remind me of SPN. My friend was saying that after eating so much, she won't be able to move off the couch for a few hours. I commented "ah, you'll have a very sedentary afternoon!" and then BLAM, I thought of Dean in "It's A Horrible Life" saying that he leads a very sedentary life and that he's getting a little pudgy.

See? See how these things work their way into my brain and then take over?

*is completely crazy*

3blackcats, I'm sure my family is fully aware of my insanity at this point. Hate to break it to you but... your is probably aware of your insanity! Tell them not to worry, we don't suffer from insanity. We're enjoying ourselves, thankyouverymuch. :D

Oh, I know my family knows I'm insane. I'm talking about the people who lived near me at school. ;) And yes, I do completely enjoy my insanity. :D

I got into Supernatural through my love for AJ Buckley... And now I'm hooked. :D

I would totally love to see what Missouri and Castiel would be like if they were in the same room. I miss Missouri. I'd love for her to come back. :D

Just watched the first 2 episodes of the series with my friend. I've gotta say... the first episode went a little slower and a little clunkier than expected. Though I freaking LOVED the fight scene in the dark. That rocked so hard! And Dean slapping Sammy upside the head... hehehe. I remember seeing a gif of that a long time ago and wondering about it. :D

I liked the second episode better than the first. Plot wasn't so sluggish, action was more intense, they both got to be big damn heroes, Dean got to be inappropriate at the end... yep, I liked it.

By the by, now I understand where the title of this thread, "No Chick Flick Moments", came from. Hehehe, and the thing is - they'd already had a semi chick flick moment by the end of the same episode.

Oh, one more thing... the kid from Glee, the one who plays Finn, totally died in the second episode. I was like "awwww, bye Glee kid" as he screamed and got eaten alive. Poor guy.

No, no, wait, one MORE thing - when does Dean get his ultra manly voice? Because he's definitely only taken it down one or two notches for the first couple episodes. In the fourth & fifth season he sounds like he's been gargling with gravel his whole life. When does that switch happen?

Oh my god, the first episode! Don't tempt me to watch! That reminds me so much of how cute Jared was back then, heck Jensen too :p they both looked so young and innocent back then :rolleyes:and the thing about the gif reminds me that I think I have a banner or something made of that, I also have one where Sam pulls Dean back into the hotel room that says 'mine' Dean all covered in mud, "dude you smell like a toilet" lol

The reason I loved this episode so much was because of how cute Dean looked munching on peanut m&m's :adore: and not because they're my favorites :p I also liked the "sweetheart, I don't do shorts" part :guffaw:

I didn't really notice that much of a change with Dean's voice until season 4. I think it had to do with all the screaming he did while he was in hell :) But you have to keep in mind sometimes when Dean's talking, my eyes move down to his lips and I kind of loose concentration :p

Oh my god, weren't they just ADORABLE back then? It's amazing, coming from seasons 4 and 5, seeing them all growed up and practically smoldering hot... then you see them in season 1 and, like I said, the reaction is "::gasp:: Adorable!!"

:D The "dude, you smell like a toilet" line is also one of the highlights. *giggles*

The M&M bit was great! My favorite Dean moment was his yes-I-am-a-cocky-bastard smile at the end. "Must you cheapen the moment?" "Yeah!"

  LOL, sometimes I have the same problem with paying attention to what he's actually saying... I also kind of drift off, staring at his prettiness. :luvlove:

Though... you're right, if his ultra manly voice appeared around the 4th season then it makes sense that his voice has gotten hoarse from all the screaming in the Pit. *tears up* Oh Dean, my poor baby... don't worry, I'll give you lots of hugs and love. I have nothing but pure intentions here.

...and he can do yoga. ;P

You wouldn't happen to be referring to his guest role in Nip/Tuck, would you? :guffaw:
NO WAY!!! That was him!?!?!? ewwwww

As Manny Skerrit, the yoga instructor who has a very BIG problem that he'd like reduced?

Yep, totally Misha. It's the freakiest thing in the world, seeing him go from Cas to Manny.

What I want to know is... did Misha REALLY do that pose in the office, or is that some sort of trick or special effect or whatnot??

You mean this pose? :guffaw:

I think that is him. You can alomost see his face the entire time. Funny as hell

I totally mean that pose! I was gonna post a link to that very same video but then I was like "I dunno, this is supposed to be a PG-13 board..." but hey, I guess if the mods don't like it, you could just snip it out of the post, no harm no foul.

Probably the most obscene part was right at the end of his pose before he gets back up. I can't even describe it here because, again, PG-13 board! I just rewatched and can't stop laughing!!

^^ I never watch Nip/Tuck but that was one of the only episode i have ever seen. It good to kno Misha is that flexable

i don't think i'll ever be able to see castiel the same way.

I'm getting all sorts of naughty ideas in my head now...:devil::evil:

There was a Q&A with Misha during which he was asked whether or not he thinks Castiel will fully "fall" by the end of the series. Misha said he thinks it's possible and that if he does, it'll probably have something to do with Dean.

So now I'm thinking "OOOOoooooo he'll fall, and he'll become human, and he'll get all those carnal desires, and then that incredible flexibility will come in very handy........ with Dean." :D
