Supernatural #3 - No Chick Flick Moments

I'm not sure if I want it to be a sixth season.. Do not get me wrong, asI love Supernatural. But they seem to just drag it on, even if there won't be a new season.

I don't want to see how they hunt their normal "stuff". I want to know more about the end of the world, the war between angels and demons (as they fight for God and Lucifer). But also what's gonna happen with the fallen angels (Anna and Castiel). Sam, Dean and Bobby seem to ignore that and hunt other supernatural things instead. It drives me insane.

Gina,

I think there's a chance of a sixth season. They have talked about it being a possibility.

About what you put in the spoiler code, I think this show has broken "the fourth wall" so many times already, once more can't hurt.

I wish there could be a sixth season, and you're right, there might be... but without Kripke. He's said in several interviews that he absolutely refuses to do a 6th season. What is the show, really, without Kripke?

LOL, I guess you're right about that last bit. You know, I halfway expect that during 5x09 they're gonna look directly at the cameras and say "We're in an episode of Supernatural!"

Sounds about right... right?

You brought up "dragging on", and that's been the chief objection among those who want the series to conclude at the end of season 5 - the series might seem to drag on if the CW goes into a 6th season with NO guidance from the man who dreamt it all up and only planned it out until the end of season 5. Like I said, a Supernatural without Kripke isn't much of a Supernatural at all.

I'm not sure what you're talking about with the fallen angels, though... unless you're saying that you'd like to know how their story turns out after the end of the official series, in which case I agree, I'd like to know as well. But I don't think it's a big concern of the hunters what the fallen angels do (unless they go bonkers and start killing innocent people... which I doubt Anna and Cas will do). They've been pretty harmless and even helpful so far.

Nah, what I meant is that Anna was in 2 episodes (I think, maybe 3, but I think there only was two). We know that the angels were looking for her, but even the demons were. As she could be useful on both sides in the upcoming war. In the other episode she and Ruby was helping the brothers. So she was really needed, right?

But we never knew what happened to Anna after that. I mean, I hate the fact that we (well, at least me) thought that Anna was important. But she was only in 2 episodes. I wanted to know more about her, if she really was that necessary or if Castiel "stole" her part as he became more popular among the fans.

Does it make sense this time?

Last ep was awesome! I loved the he-witch! Man, he was awesome. He sorta reminded me of the trickster somehow.. Yeah. I liked him.

And the rest of the ep was cool, too. :p:p

Personally, I kind of hate the end of the world stuff. The only good thing about that storyline is that it brought us Castiel. I prefer it when each episode is like a mini-horror movie.

I think that Kripke said he might be willing to do one more season, but we'll see.

I loved this last episode. Dean's little dance at the end, and Bobby's face. :guffaw:

"If I was in your shoes." "You wouldn't stop complaining." "Fair enough." :guffaw:

I was so happy that Sam won and Dean and Bobby didn't think he would be able to. I loved the he-witch about as much as I like the trickster.

Just checking in...

My friend and I watched s'more Season 1 episodes (most of which freaked her out because she's a lightweight when it comes to horror). She's sticking with the series despite being wigged out because she likes the plots, just not the graphic gore, and she thinks Jensen & Jared are HOT (which helps immensely). Truthfully, I almost couldn't watch the "Dean shedding" scene in Skin... my GOD, how did that air on the WB?? *shudders*

Oh, oh, I saw Missouri! Now I know why y'all love her so much... and want her to be in the same room as Castiel. *giggles*

Hey, I have a question (that I'll probably answer for myself before anyone sees this, but whatever): do we know whether or not Jimmy Novak's soul survived the whole "Castiel explodes and then comes back wearing the same body" thing at the end of Season 4/beginning of Season 5? Basically, is it just Cas in there now or did Jimmy "come back" when Cas came back?

Honestly, (no offense to Jimmy whatsoever, I really like(d) the guy, but...) I hope Jimmy's "at rest" or "in a better place" or whatever. He didn't want to be a vessel anymore, we know it was painful for him, so when it comes right down to it, I hope Jimmy went to Heaven when he & Cas were blown up. And no, this is NOT because I want Dean to get with Cas without feeling like he's somehow violating the guy Castiel's wearing. Well......... maybe it's just a tiny bit because of that, but it's 99% because I feel bad for Jimmy!

I was sort of wondering that too- about Jimmy. I get the impression that nobody gets out alive after becoming an angel's vessel, be it a nice angel like Castiel, a biggie like Michael, or a baddie like Lucky. I think that no matter what, there's no life after angel condomhood.

Hey you met Missouri, don't you love all the little things she did like making Dean clean up the house and the "Don't cuss at me." Before Dean even said anything. :guffaw: I don't know why but I loved Skin one of my favorite episodes except for the shedding skin thing. :wtf: So you watch Hell House or Nightmare yet? Hell House is a great episode to laugh at, and Nightmare was one of my favorites.

The guy at work that I loaned season one to- he took forever to get started watching them, then he doddled through the first couple disks... then suddenly the backstory started to kick in and the next thing you know, he blew through the last ones over the weekend! Seriously, this is a man with a wife, 2 kids and a dog to look after on the weekend, so you know he got addicted BAD! Anyway, he rolled into work this morning demanding I bring in season 2 tomorrow. :D Another Supernaturalfile created, I'm pleased to say. And season 2 ROCKS, so I've no doubt he'll be wanting season 3 in no time.

I was a big fan of Skin as well... 'cept for the graphic shedding scene. *shudders* Could've lived without seeing tha.

Nope, haven't made it to either of those episodes yet. Last one we watched the other night was Asylum (which freaked her out good and proper). We'll probably make it through 2 more episodes tonight, so the next time we watch, I'll probably make it to Nightmare. What I'm REALLY interested in seeing is the story behind the so-called "racist truck" in Route 666, which is 3 episodes away. :D

AWESOME! Good recruiting! *high fives*

Oh, also, wanted to say - I finally saw John Winchester alive!! OMG! Hehe, I mean, I knew it would happen eventually, but it was still kind of monumental. And apparently he's got some sort of "master plan" that the boys still haven't completely brought to fruition...... stay tuned to find out more! ;)

I'm not going to spoil it for you all I'm going to say was that was my least favorite episode of season 1, but I'll let you form your own opinion so my lips are sealed. :p

Would you guys all think I am weird if I say I actually kind of like Route 666? I really did. :p

^Idem :D

I didn't really mind Route 666. One scene in particular

An epi I didn't really like was the one with the bugs and... the ep with the ship (season three, I think).
