 the end of that clip is hilarious. :guffaw:

Did they move the show to Fridays? Or is it just on Fridays where you live?

GNRfan, it still airs on Thursdays in the U.S. That's how it's been airing all this season, anyhow, and my DVR doesn't show that it's changed. There's still a new episode scheduled in the same Thursday timeslot.

No problem. :)

Hey, I have a question (and maybe it's because I've missed some small detail or some major plotpoint, etc, and if so, my apologies for being daft) - why has Dean been refusing to be Michael's vessel? I mean, besides the fact that being an angel condom has got to be REALLY uncomfortable and the fact that the angels are dicks.

Does he not believe that Michael can avert the Apocalypse? Does he think the angels are lying to him, that this is the ultimate dickery and that Michael doesn't intend on averting the Apocalypse at all? Is it because he thinks if he does it, he'll eventually have to kill Sam?

[[edit]] Nevermind, I got it. I remember now. I'd forgotten that Dean wants to avoid the big bad battle because it'd result in millions of people dying. He thinks there's got to be a better way to stop Lucifer. I was rewatching 5x04, The End, and it got to this dialog and I said OOOOOH YEAH -

future!Dean: "When you get back home... you say 'yes'. You hear me? Say yes to Michael."
current!Dean: "That's crazy. If I let him in then Michael fights the Devil. Battle's gonna torch half the planet!"

No problem; I figured that was the mix-up.

So... I've been watching Season 4 for the first time. I've made it through the majority of the episodes and just watched "On The Head Of A Pin". Did anyone else cry like a BABY several times during that episode? I surely did... especially in the end where Dean was so crushed after Cas confirmed that Dean had in fact jump started the Apocalypse. And when Cas looked so lost as he told Anna that he has doubts... and when Uriel was pummeling Cas into mulch... and when Alastair was choking the life out of Dean... yeah, I got teary-eyed at all those parts.

I admit, I totally interact with my shows. I laugh, I cry, I talk to the characters, I guess at the next action sequence or the next lines. Someone tell me I'm not the only crazy screwball who does this!

Sorry, I know pretty much everyone else has seen this, has gone through the roller coaster of emotions... but I've got no one else I can talk to about it. Well, no one else who cares at all about the show, that is.

I almost cried at that episode too when I watched it I felt so sorry for Dean when he figured out he started the Apocalypse. Seriously made me tear up really bad, also I was terrified that Cas was going to die during that episode it had me freaking out temporaily at least.

I did cry back when I watch the first part of the season finally back in season two people know what I'm talking about probably, heck even my little sister started crying too in that one and she generally doesn't cry while watching TV shows.

Haven't seen much of the first seasons. Jeez, look at me, I'm already fanatical about the show and I haven't even seen how it began (I only read episode recaps... a LOT of them).

Plus... I'm watching the next episode in line, It's A Terrible Life, and HOLY BUCKETS, A.J. Buckley shows up! Were the Ghostfacers in earlier seasons?? *goes to imdb* MORE HOLY BUCKETS, hooray! I guess I didn't pay close enough attention when reading up on the older eps. *does a happy dance for CSI actors in SPN*

Hey, out of the first three seasons, which one would y'all say was the best? Just wondering. I'll watch 'em all eventually but... is there one that I should be looking forward to the most? From a purely superficial point of view, I think the first season will wig me out a bit. I'm used to seeing Jensen and Jared as they are now - older. When they first started out they looked SO young. I don't know how they did it in a few short years but they look so much more mature now.

I do this sometimes too. Moreso with movies than the tv shows though. Especially horror movies. "You stupid girl, don't go in there alone and unarmed!"

AJ Buckley is in two episodes (I think it was just two). One where there was a Haunted place and then "It's A Terrible Life".

Season 2 is my fave of the first 3, I think.

And this just in... I totally saw Mark Pelligrino downtown yesterday. I thought I saw him around the same area last weekend, but thought I must be mistaken- but now I think it probably was him then too- I totally did a double take yesterday and got a good long look. :)

I was with a friend, and he says to me, "What the hell are you doing? Why are you staring at the poor guy- You know him or something?" And I of course said, "Yeah- that's Lucifer." And then I started laughing. Good thing my friend knows my off-the-wall sense of humour, because he just laughed and said, "Riiiiiiight. Lucifer. Got it."

I'm guessing he must stay downtown in the westend when he's filming here, since I've seen him around there twice now.

Okay I have to say I love season two the most, also Hell House from season 1 is freaking hilarious. Dean and Sam pulling pranks on each other basically the whole episode. :guffaw: I highly recommend that episode.

Seems season 2 is well loved... I shall have to catch that one soon! Though I suppose I should watch the remaining seasons in order (now that I've thoroughly ruined it all for myself by watching season 4 and what's aired of season 5 out of order).

Pulling pranks? Good-natured fun? Aw, it's almost like they were getting along and not constantly at each others necks with drama drama drama at one point! Like... like FAMILY or something! :D Any other favorite episodes? I defer to your wisdom, oh well-versed Supernatural fans!

By the by, this topic probably isn't entirely appropriate for a PG-13 board (so I'll try to be vague), but... does ANYONE here understand the whole "Sam/Dean" phenomenon? Because I do NOT get the appeal. I mean, at all. I can definitely see that Jensen & Jared are both attractive actors and if they were playing unrelated parts I suppose it might click in my head, but... well, like Dean said... "They do know we're brothers, right??"

Well lets see I love Home, Nightmare, and The Benders from season 1. Also recommend Phantom Traveler and Dead In the Water both of those have some good/funny Dean moments. ;) Now Bloody Mary scared me cause my sister freaked me out after I watched it the nut sneaked up on me and jumped on me when I was in front of the bathroom mirror, so not fun I jumped about five feet in the air. :shifty: For season two if I can remember the names of the episodes I liked Simon Says, Hunted, Croatoan and All Hell Breaks Lose Parts 1 and 2.

Now for your other question I never did get how that emerged and I never really saw the appeal to it either so I'll let somebody else answer that one.
