It might have to do with costs, but if not, I'd understand him leaving anyway. He's worked on CSI a long time. I'LL MISS HIM.

I think that even though Natalia hasn't gotten a storyline throughout the season it could still be her cause that would actually be the element of surprise, since whatever would happen to her would be really out of left field. They could even use it to leave us hanging till next season.

Delkolover once wrote in the EC thread that Corey told her that Cal's lung issues in 7.14 weren't going to really have any lasting effects. Still, some would feel that she came back too soon to work. So there's a chance that Calleigh's lungs problems don't have anything to do with the finale.

I do think that there's a pretty good chance that Alexx being in the beginning of next season has to do with whatever goes down on the season finale.

^^ Well, I'd love to be wrong. I've had enough Calleigh to last me a lifetime - still it's just that feeling that it will be her again. For me to believe it will be Natalia, I'd have to see a little something more in her direction in the next few epis - maybe we will, then I could change my mind. In the "here & now" though, I can't even imagine it being about her, or imagine what it could be ABOUT.

I'm really, really, REALLY hoping Eva LaRue was talking about herself or Tara or Yelina. Don't get me wrong, I love Calleigh, but it's time to give the girl a break and let the other gals have a chance to shine. I'd prefer it wasn't Tara, since I don't really like her, but I'd rather Tara than Calleigh. Calleigh's got a sexy man friend and her gun back, let's let her be happy for a while.

Can't argue with that, Wasabi. And I really really don't want this "issue" to be Tara's. She shouldn't get a story before Natalia does and if she does there are going to be a lot of angry fans!

I tend to doubt that the words released for season finale would be played so literally. The producers obviously want to stir the pot but who knows for sure.I could be so "dramatic " as Horatio death .My initial reaction was Tara but I would not mind if it was Calleigh again.Natalia is also posible.Again,it depends how "big" we believe it is going to be.

Aww, Corey Miller has left?

...Well there goes the rest of CSI:Miami. :p

All joking aside, I wish him all the best and I hope he finds much success in his future endeavours. :)

And welcome back, delkolover. Very sorry to hear about your loss. We're all here for you should you need anything. :)

I definitely wouldn't be very surprised if Tara's the one that Eva was referring to in the spoilers as having an 'issue', though I'm hoping that's not the case. I want it to totally come out of left field -- making Natalia or Yelina prime candidates.

And honestly, unless it's such a huge shocker or at least has the entertainment value, I can't see myself being that enamoured with the season finale. They can say it'll 'end with a bang' all they want, Miami (in my opinion) sucks at finales lately. Hard. Especially when they go the cliffhanger route, which I sincerely hope they don't do. The last time I wasn't disappointed with a finale was when they aired 'Innocent' and '10-7'. Maybe I'm biased (ha, yeah I probably am) but ever since then, I've been 'headdesk'-ing like crazy at their finales.

Maybe I'm setting myself up for disappointment by expecting a craptacular episode for a finale and maybe I'm still hung up on my thinking that the recent seasons (save for some of season 6 and this season) have been nothing short of - as Simon Cowell says - self-indulgent nonsense but I'm still going to tune into next season either way, qualms with the show be damned. I'm stickin' with it til the end! I'm hoping the finale exceeds my expectations in a positive way.

*runs away from prospective tomato-throwing* :D

Yeah, they tend to hype everything up and us fans also add to the hype to a degree so who knows how big/small it'll be. But you'd think given it's a finale, they'd try to make it quite dramatic. (Then again...the first 2 seasons ended on a slightly happier and less dramatic note and I think they were received pretty well) I guess what I'm trying to say is, if they're going to go for the big drama, at least make it entertaining and don't insult my intelligence. :p

Remember last year when Eva said that one person was going to die, another one was going to get hurt & a third one was going to leave the show b/c of Kandhi's departure?
The person who died was the new M.E. & we already knew about that, the person who got hurt was H &, quite frankly, I didn't care about it. And ladies & gentlemen the person who left the show b/c of Kandhi's departure was just oh yeah it was Alexx Woods .
I'm not blaming Eva for this, I'm blaming TPTB for making her tell something that stupid :p.
I mean we can't be even sure that was she told is actually true, but I love how he can get all excited also b/c of some "fictional" spoilers

I'd love that too, but we all know how shocking Miami can be

The last time I wasn't disappointed with a finale was when they aired 'Innocent' and '10-7'.
Those were great finales & I do think they should do somehting without cliffhangers. Just a normal episode, just a little bit more emotional than Miami tends to be.

I guess they've been insulting it for a while :p, but I perfectly know what you mean & I totally agree with you.
I'm pretty sure it won't be as shocking as we all expect b/c the real shock would be Natalia or Frank having a storyline, right now

I really don't think that Calleigh is taking the pills. From all that she went through with her father's alcoholism, I don't see her as a pill popper. I think it really might not have anything to do with the pills. However, I think that it could be Natalia, maybe Valera, but I'm leaning more toward Natalia than Calleigh. Who knows! That is the brilliance of cliffhangers!!

I say it's gonna be Natalia because lets not forget that at the end of 7.19 I think:confused: someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
Well I'm guessing the Russian mob took pictures of Natalia and Frank. I think it will the finale will have to do with Natalia. I just hope no one ends up in the hospital.:( but the season finale ought to be great:thumbsup:and entertaining.

Ahggg I don't want to wait another week! Luck I have CSI: LV a new car, and a trip to NY to keep me busy...

Ryan goodness is too hard to wait for!!

As for the finale, my wager remains on Tara or Nat. :)

I just had a thought. Maybe the lack of screen time for Natalia this season was Eva's choice. She was planning that wedding, and just recently had to call it off. :( Trying not to pry in the personal life here, but I would understand if she needed a little time off for something like that.

But if it was TPTB's idea to just totally out her worse than they did Ryan last year, I would be pretty mad..... I want this finale story to be all about her, but I really think it's going to be Tara.

^ I really hope we are in for a shocker of a finale, and it turns out that Natalia is involved.Of course I don't know what it would be because she has had so little screen time.

I'm really hoping that we get a promo during the game tonight. But so far...no luck. The game isn't very close either so it's kind of boring. Just watching now for a promo.
