Melanie: Hope so.
Speed: Strong performance today.

Speed: You that guy was just trying to talk to you. Find an opening.
Melanie: He insulted me.
Speed: You know next time you might try rejection. See it's a lot less messy, and you know what? guys are used to it.

:lol: Has he been rejected before? PROBABLY NOT.
 
I don't know who'd want to reject him. I mean I sure as heck wouldn't! I mean has he looked in a mirror lately? he's a hottie!
 
i wouldn't reject him either...i don't know anyone who would!..oh wait, i know one person, but as far as i am concerned, she's never actually seen him, because if she has and she still wants to reject him, then she must me completely insane...
and you're right, Katie, he is a hottie :D
 
Whew...my work schedule the last few days has been hectic, and I haven't had any time to rewatch 'Losing Face', so I'm going to go ahead and let y'all get started on 'Wet Foot/Dry Foot', if y'all would like to, and I'll try to get caught up on both episodes over the weekend. ;) My apologies for holding everyone up on this.

Over all I thought the episode was pretty sad actually.

I'd rate it.....4

and favorite speedle scene...hehe when he's reading the name off the boat and he says "Moon new." and eric's like "New moon." and the part where's he's with calleigh and there looking at the number off the boat and she's like "Why not just sand it all down." and he goes "Maybe its a guy thing." and let's see when he's watching the tapes and eric comes in and he's like "What's up?" and speed replied "Megan." and eric laughs. And I love it when he goes "Guy doesn't even take a leak." I dunno why it just always makes me giggle.
 
hmm, i haven't watched this ep in quite a while, so i'll have to watch it again and either get back to you later tonight or tomorrow...
 
i like this epi 'wet food dry foot'. and the end when they (miami team) prove that the boy shoot his sis only to be sure that when 'coast' security find her will help her and she can stay in USA was so so sad moment. hi (the boy) do this only because he love her.. :( but sometimes the thing don`t go as we want :( and this epi was show one real problem in USA and theirs emigrants.

speed and magan make one good team when they work together. it the first epis in S1 Miami he (speed) show respect and understanding toward her and hers suffering (deceased husband)...

i like the part in this epi when someone tell this I just got a look at that tiger shark in the cooler. Liberal eaters, like Speedle. They'll eat anything as long as it's alive. :p

and this chat H/S make me laugh so much :lol:

i regret that speed go off the csi. he was well done character and i really miss him in S3-4. i always like the way hi dress. in the begining with t-sharts and sport jerseys (sweater) and after that with unpants 2-3 size big shirts :) he somehow stay more distinctive and real from the rest guys in this show. but i don`t wont to forgot to mention that i like a lot this part with noshave cheeks hehe :devil:

PS Thumpy i very much like the idea to go epi by epi and to discuss the plot and Speed :D this way the consider won`t overstay ...may be in other threads must do someting like this :p
 
ooo, thats right, i like that quote, "the kind that has blood in it"...it's so typical speed..and when H says 'call the coastguard, make a friend, and take eric with you' it made me keep wishing that i worked for the coastguard (even though i don't live in america), just so i could be the one to answer that call...i would so be his friend...ah, i envy the person that (theoretically) answered that call
 
"Take eric with you." That make me laugh, and I don't know why. lol.

I wouldn't say that this is the first episode we get any reaction from speed about megan's husband's death. I don't even remember any mention of her husband in this episode....I'll have to go and re watch it. But the first episode that got mention of it would be there first techincally first episode, which would be Golden Parachute. But I could be understanding you wrong.
 
...I never really liked her all that much either. I mean she was ok. But its not like I'd die if she wasn't on the show. And I always felt that her and Horatio pulled speed back and forth like he was some kind of chew toy. But....that's just me.
