Maka would probably have to make every firt move. And then if Danny ever finds a rat in his apartment, he'd probably call her.

Danny is such a bottom but it's ok because Maka strikes me as very much a top. They're perfect for each other. Well, until this happens:

Danny: "Oh Kaile, that was so beautiful."
Maka: "Shut up and hand me a cigarette."

I know this is a bit late on this topic, but I was thinking this might be the reason they wouldn't still be together if they were at one point.

I agree with that. Danny sometimes just likes to talk. I think at times he just likes the sound of his own voice.

I was watching Til Death Do We Part last night and I noticed how often Danny looked at Maka. Even when he was talking to Mac, he looked at her.

It's amazing how differently I look at this show when rewatching episodes. My mind drifts back to various conversations on this board.

Yeah! TDDWP is a great D/M episode. I love how Mac went, "Do you two wanna be alone? I can drag the body outside."

That cracked me up. Aw, Mac. I bet he's secretly hoping they'll hook up.

It is a great episode for these two. The scene with them questioning the hotel worker is good too with Danny acting all tough in front of Maka while questioning the worker. Aww.

At this point I can't remember much else from this episode. I hadn't seen it in awhile and I fell asleep while watching it. When I woke up, the tape had rewound itself.

Seriously though, why would the writers put in such a scene with Maka insinuating that she'd ask Danny out unless it was MEANT TO MEAN SOMETHING?

God, sometimes the writers just frustrate me. :lol:
