William Petersen is set to do his play on Nov.6, so he's probably filming the last of his episodes as we speak :(

Oh got ya. That's quite depressing. :( . I just hope the longevity of the show is not compromised. I know this isn't spoiler info but I thought I'd just state it.

This TV Guide mag. was all hype and psycho babble & for FUN, as you all must all know, to get the viewers caught up in the intrigue of the new S/9 premiere, they professionals and do what sells magazines and gets the fans to watch the show, Billy & Marg are the stars of CSI, and the average Joe or Jane coming though a checkstand will buy this, but be surprised that this isn't what's happening on the new episode.

So...when Billy states something about GSR in an article, it's definitive evidence for that ship, but when it's about Grissom and Catherine it's for fun and just to sell magazines...riiiggghhttt. Had to be said

Saw the CTV preview for next week. It is a little bit different, they don't show anything from other eppys, just the premiere. Also, the scenes are not as fast, so you can see a little more of the details. I don't know if i will cry at this one, hard to say. The only two CSI eppy's that made me cry were 'Lost Son' - Miami (i was BAWLLING, for like 20 mins, cause he died half way through it) and 'Silent Night' - New York (the case is just so powerful, and amazing acting). I think it will be a cross between intense emotion and crappy cheese ball drama. I will be cringing through half that episode, I know it.

TPTB are the ones who decided to present the fans and viewers with the GSR, and many embraced it and some didn't. They are the ones, the WRITERS, we the fans didn't start this, and I still stick to my theory that this was all in jest and fun and not serious:rolleyes: and now they've changed the titles yet again, so we never know from day to day that's they are going to do:wtf:

I wonder what is up with them changing the titles so much?!

Did we ever hear about episode 8 titled "The Former Life of the Rich and Famous"? Or did I just miss it?

c'mon you guys that magazine is over with now, what's done is done let's just try to keep the respect for everybodys diversity of opinions :)

I haven't seen that new promo...was it at all contradictory towards the ones we've been obsessing over?? I can't wait for this premiere, I think its going to be the best yet and blow us all out of the water I only hope that its events don't bring this thread down again, so let's all keep our heads:bolian:

I like the positiveness! I'm trying to be optimistic about the whole situation as well. I am going to put some of my faith in TPTB. I just hope they don't let me, and alot of other fans, down! :)

ATTENTION!!! and look no one is in trouble. :p

The show is one week away from beginning a new season, as you know at this point I put up the episode thread. But for some of you that are new once we do this all discussions for that episode will go in there as this is for future episodes of this season. All rules that apply in here (page/post 1) and on the board in general apply in those threads as well. Including not discussing the episode/s in any thread that doesn't have a spoiler warning until the last time zone has seen it, we give that time as being 1 am.

As we know there will be shipper scenes we are asking everyone who doesn't ship, who do not like said ship, who do like said ship to please not bait each other in any of the discussion threads, and if you feel baited do NOT respond to it. Look we are just trying to avoid any fighting about it remember feel like a nasty comment coming on, stop and breath, and stick to the reason it is there, to discuss the episode preferrably as a whole. If you want to discuss the ship scene in greater detail or debate it that can be done in SC but I believe you need spoiler boxes until it airs in the last time zone.

Now I will be putting up the Discussion thread tonight, but it will be locked until Friday sometime in which it will be opened for discussions, of what we know so far, our thoughts on all that and when the ep does air thoughts on that as well.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post, now we may get back on topic. :)

Episode 908 titled-"Young Man With a Horn."

If you go David rambo website you can find a pic with this subtitle "Tippi Hedren and David on the set of CSI Episode 908 'Young Man With a Horn.'"

I like the CTV promo because it didn't have that song playing over it. You could hear other people crying behind Grissom..

I'm really excited to see what LF brings to the forum. A fresh, clean start for CSI as far as I can see it...no -the boat that cannot be named in this thread-hindering it.

I was watch LF in a movie the other night and was thinking.."OH wow! This guy is gonna be on CSI..yeah!!!!!

I will miss Grissom and his bugs..

I've got the perfect ending in mind for Grissom.. he pulls out a flute and starts to skip out of the Lab...and his bugs go dancing behind him..like the Pied Piper!!!:guffaw:

Oh wait that's my CSI..where alley cats find Warrick's body, Nick and Grissom carry Warrick's dead body around the Lab like Weekend at Bernie's.

No offense Grissom fans..just trying to put a comedic spin on his departure and the image of Grissom playing a flute and dancing out of the Lab with his bugs behind him is quite funny.

Back to the show..

Is the CTV promo online anywhere?

It's going to be hard to wait so long to see Fishburn come in. I'm looking forward to seeing the direction that they go with him.

But in the meantime, let's all relish in the thought of Grissom playing the pied piper to his bugs as they march off into the Nevada desert sunet with Grissom playing 'yankee doodle dandee'...as Catherine waves goodbye, Greg takes notes for his book;Lawrence Fishbourne's character is left wondering what he got himself into; Riley hopes it all goes up hill after this as it cant' get any worse and maybe she should have turned down the job in the other state.

And Nick...well..he'll be standing up on top of counter in the lab waiting until the bugs clear..while Hodges, Mandy, Henry and Wendy all stand there with their cell phone cameras taking pictures..and videos for You Tube..

And now back to spoilers..
