HAHA that's because his character was getting Ryan to emit too much emotion. Can't have that, can we?

That was really ranty. But alas.

They haven't asked Evan Ellingson to return :(

He has stated that he would absolutely love to come back to Miami, he loves working with DC and being on the set. However, he hasn't heard anything.

That was over a month ago, so I don't know if its changed.

I hope they still plan on it (maybe too busy establishing Jesse:(?). I really like Kyle.

Not ranty but the truth.

*Sigh* Still no Ryan but at least no Jesse.

Thank you so much for these pics

Wow 4 pics to show that H & Frank can examine a toliet on a jet

Well, it appears to me that we have a V.I.P... a very important poop...YEAHHHHHH!
:guffaw: Good to know. And I thought this was gonna be a serious episode considering the guest cast (especially family Burgess)..guess it's something impossible LOL

Yeah when is Kyle coming up next? He does have a home in Miami and has/had an internship or job for the ME, but I guess since she's gone he doesn't have anything to do there? I have no idea but it would be nice to see him again. Especially since the regulars don't get as much screentime as they used to.. or it seems that way to me. And now with Omar Millers character, Walter Simmons, being a series regular and a part of Horatio's team, there is gonna be even less time for Natalia and Ryan, and the other characters we don't get to see as much of. I am kinda confused though.
So Walter Simmons is a Louisiana native and art theft specialist. What is he going to be doing for the team? Didn't Jesse sort of fill the spot for when Eric leaves? Not that he could ever take Eric's place.. but where does he fit in? If that made any sense..

That's interesting -- I thought he was just supposed to be a rookie detective? And he's an expert on art theft? Hmm, let's see, so most likely we'll have a case somewhere this season that revolves around someone stealing art, ya think?!
Don't get me wrong, I love Omar, he's awesome, but to have another person come in as a series regular seems incredibly fishy to me - I'm not too sure I like the sound of this.

I don't know.. that's what I thought but I read it from the CBS Press website. Yeah I don't know how else he would be coming into this, although it does say he's transferring over from the night shift. I agree with you about it sounding fishy though.. too many regulars considering everyone they already have from season 7 and before.. and now Jesse.

Almost sounds as if they are preparing for another regular to leave. If this isn't the case, how are they going to get screen time for everyone? It sounds as if Omar will be a detective as opposed to another CSI (which this series does not need). Maybe they will try the two case format with this new detective around. It could spread the screen time around and it could even things out (trying again to stay positive)

I was under the impression that Omar's character is just recurring, but recurring in terms of a regular recurring character... kind of like Stetler and Valera. I don't think he's going to be a regular in the opening credits with the theme song.

Now that you mention it, that could be possible that they are trying the two case format, I mean, it worked with CSI:NY after all, they had two detectives for quite a while with both Flack and Angell, so I don't see why having two detectives around would be a problem. It might actually be interesting.

According to the Spoiler Reference Guide,Walter is an art theft specialist. Why does the team need an art theft specialist? Is Walter changing his focus as far as his police specialty? Is Miami expecting an increase in art theft?
