Thanks so much for sharing A_remains! I like them.. I thought the Season 7 promo pic was very original until I read on BTA that it was a rip-off from the Beatles' Abbey Road album cover. :lol: And also according to BTA, theres a story behind the barefoot Paul McCartney in the Beatles' Abbey Road.
"In 1969, the rumour that Paul McCartney had died and been secretly replaced with a lookalike Beatle stormed the rock world. It took months to get the story to subside, although its main promoter was nobody more well connected than a minor Detroit DJ.

On the cover of Abbey Road, Paul is bare foot (corpses are often buried without shoes) and out of step with the other Beatles. His eyes appear to be closed. The other Beatles wear clothing contributing to the motif. John, all in white, is the preacher, Ringo, all in black, is the pallbearer and George, all in denim, is the gravedigger. There is also a Volkswagen with the registration number 28IF, symbolising that McCartney would have been twenty-eight years old if he had lived."
^^I dunno though if that Paul McCartney thing has something to do with Gil in Season 7. It may just be because Gil's the leader on CSI so he has to do the barefoot act.

well i don't think they are ripping off anything. they are paraphrasing some works of art to make promos. the same goes to for example the Dinner Pic. i think it's also art to make promos like this, b/c it gives them a deeper meaning, and only people who are very acknowledged in those things understand those promos after seeing them for the first time. it makes all viewers assume that "this show is for very clever people", which it is. after realizing this wouldn't anyone want to watch it? :lol: this ad IMO encourages to watch the show very much.

I think the pic is very cool. Being a child of the 70's I imediatly thought of the Beatles but don't consider it a rip off. Imitation is a form of flattery.
Great pic, I love that Greg is in the middle - kinda shows they all protect him. (reminds me of how elephants protect their young) :lol: :lol:

I dont know its just a feeling but could be that gris barefoot means that he is the first to leave the show, he looks like he doesnt belong to the rest of the group anymore (all in dark clothes and his are bright), maybe he retires or something happens to him (oh god I hope NOT!!!). This picture is really srange and it doesnt feel good to me.

Its absolutely not what i want, but what do you think about that?. There is something going on with grissi, I think s7 will do a lot to him, I suppose he will have to face a lot of changes, i am just hoping its for the better..
please let it be for the better. We ve struggled and sufferded hard and long enough because of our queen and king of drama (g/s) and now they are finally together, the writers can´t be so cruel and mess the whole thing up again.

Yes but i think that will probably prevent them from doing anything to the gsr thing because an awfull lot of people will be very pissed off if that happens and thats definitly no good pr for the show.

I don't think it's ripping off. If anything, it was supposed to look like something people are familiar with, not to copy it and say it's their own. That would of course be a really long word that starts with a P that I can't spell...plagerism?? Play-ger-is-um....yah, that's the word. ^__^
I don't see a problem with Billy shaving his beard, actually. I think he looks good both ways, but he looks a tad better without it. He looks more adorable, to me. Which is nothing but good, of course. ^__^

now re season 7 - aaaarrgghhhh!! i can't wait. can't believe i've got to wait till feb / march time to get it!! stupid channel 5. i'm not strong enough not to read the spoilers. its all geting too much now....
