Season 12 Spoiler Lab Discussion

Having a thought here. Would the actions of Ray and possibly Brass warrant them a place on Squeegel's hit list? Now THAT would be an interesting repercussion to be seen next season...

I should clarify too that I don't care to see a cat and mouse serial killer chase as seen with Raskell. Squeegel comes off differently though. No personal vendetta. He's more like... a force of nature.

Oooohhh that sounds so good!!!! I mean not from the "another story for Ray" point of view but it makes perfect sense for it to happen if they decide to go down that road.

Not a bad idea :)

I hope Ray has nothing to do with Sqweegel, he's had plenty of serial killer to last a life time, plus I can't see how that would work since Ray's no hero really

Sqweegel with Brass could work, remember he got that award a couple years ago in Built to Kill for getting shot and saving the girl in Bang Bang, so that could work since Sqweegel chooses heroes with dirty secrets, Brass' being he covered for Ray

As soon as they mentioned the sqweegel character, and that he might be involved in the finale, i thought of Brass and when he received that award so close to Bell being shot. Now all of this Ray stuff has happened i could see the Sqweegel connection.

Hopefully the new girl doesn't have a dark secret and then we have 3 seasons of her and sqweegel fighting!

What ever happened to Hannah West? It'd be interesing if she won a highly publicised award and then sqweegel went after her.

See I want Sqweegel to target random people. People he thinks deserve his wrath, not just people we think do. ie: Ray!

Brass could be on Sqweegels list, but according to The List, Vartann, Brass and Ecklie would all be on it too for sleeping with a married woman.

Sqweegel is great, a real unique serial killer with his own warped sense of justice. That makes him different in my book from Nate Haskell who basically wanted Ray to commit murder.

Bring on Sqweegel!

Bring on Sqweegel!
Or, better yet, let's not bring on Sqweegel. I still don't like him and have no interest in seeing him again unless the writers have hit rock-bottom for story ideas. His name makes me cringe and when I'm cringing, I'm uncomfortable and can't focus on the show, not to mention, his character is a big black spot in my mind and I have no interest in filling that spot. CSI doesn't have to feature crazy characters every week in order to be original and win ratings.

A return to forensics and an increase in plotlines featuring characters that never get used (Greg, Nick, Dr. Rob, ect.) is a much better route than bringing back Sqweegel.

But seriously, if they bring Sqw. back he'll probably end up being yet another serial killer with a warped moral compass in Las Vegas. Is it too much to ask for just for one season where there isn't a crazed serial killer unleashed on Las Vegas?

So McGill Teases Possible Return Of ‘Sqweegel’ & Nate Haskell. Well Sqweegel I'm totally okay with but Haskell, seriously???!!!!!!!!!! If they carry this Haskell stuff beyond the first couple episodes next season, they will have officially killed the show, as far as I am concerned. I mean this season finale was bad enough, now news that they are not done with him? They just don't care what we think, obviously.

So based on McGill's tease could it possibly be that the real Nate Haskell didn't die? They mentioned more than once that Haskell might not have worked alone. I thought it meant his father was also a killer but maybe Haskell had an equally evil twin. Or he had a brother who had plastic surgery to look like Haskell. Either way, if Haskell comes back then CSI didn't just jump a shark, they cleared the entire shark tank.

Sorry but if they bring Haskell back, I will cease to watch. I'm SICK of that storyline. THey need to know when to end certain storylines, and Haskell's was one season too many.

Seems to me that Nate Haskell was a big ratings disappointment, so why bring him back?

As much as I love Nick/George, I just might to stop watching if they continue this Ray/Haskell storyline.

I hope they don't do that because that sounds like a soap opera plot lol. If they plan on bringing Haskell back, they might as well just end the series now LOL. I hope by bringing him back, he means the ghost of him... not the actual ghost, but the consequences to what Ray did. Like maybe Ray being Haunted by him in nightmares or something (not that I want to see that particularly, but, its better than him not being dead lol).

I just was disappointed, especially with the whole Brass thing. I almost wish that they'd pull a Dallas and have Ray have dreamed that whole episode at least, if not the last two lol.

My daughter watched the last two episodes with me yesterday, and cried when Ray cried over the horrific report about Gloria. I had to put it on pause, she goes "OMG, LF is a great actor playing this role as Ray". And the end with Schultz asking him "was is self defense or murder", which it just showed a close-up of his face, NO answer. So it looks like they're will be picking this up so we find out what he says. And that means LF will be returning for S/12. I wonder when they will announce who's signed up or who hasn't

How will they continue the Haskell storyline if he is dead? That doesn't make any sense. I WAS rejoicing at how much better Season 12 would be without him...

Same here, but I think it's inevitable that the repercussions will play out in Season 12. The writers can't just start things off as if nothing had happened (though honestly, other than the return of Grissom, nothing would make me happier).

He's not in it, but the writers/fans want to see Ray's answer to the question "was is self defense or murder", the hopfully this will be done and we can all move on:bolian:

I hope the ONLY way they bring Haskell back is in flashbacks during Ray's IA trial, and even that is TOO MUCH RASKELL!
