I agree. Ecklie became much more "human" after Nick's buried alive ordeal. I don't think he's that much of a jackass anymore LOL.

CSI 12.06 "Freaks & Geeks"
STORY LINE: The murder of a popular sideshow performer sends the team behind the scenes at a carnival freak show.
Hi Sandra, I need to know more about Catherine’s exit this season on CSI. In particular, just how BIG of a role is Nick going to have in it? His involvement makes me a little nervous. I love these two and hope their friendship stays in tact and of course that they’re both safe. Please help reassure me. Thanks! — Traci
Hmmm…not sure how reassuring this is going to be. The first signs of trouble will definitely be seen in the premiere on Sept. 21 when Nick and Catherine have it out in a major way.

That could still be just a two minute scene and then it's over, like previous disagreements between characters. At least I hope so. They can't have Nick be the reason she left and then expect us to accept it like they're apparently expecting us to accept that Brass let Ray get away with murder.

I agree. I personally think EW doesn't know anything more than we know at this point regarding Nick's involvement. And besides which, didn't tptb say GEORGE (not Nick) would be involved in her last episode? If that's the case, that would lead one to believe he was directing the episode or something?
38. CSI
Wednesday, 10-11 p.m., CBS
Wouldn't it be fabulous if the new guy who joined the graveyard shift were a great crime-scene investigator and a terrific husband and father? That's exactly what the producers asked themselves when thinking about how to replace Laurence Fishburne's brooding Raymond Langston. Enter Ted Danson, who will be taking the role of D.B. Russell, an affable anti-geek who was raised in a counterculture environment and now has a loving wife and four kids of his own. ''We didn't want him to be Grissom. We didn't want him to be Langston,'' explains exec producer Carol Mendelsohn. ''So we started to think how we never had a character who actually found balance between his job and family.'' The new gig got hardcore real quick for the Bored to Death star (he'll remain on the HBO show). ''They sent me to Vegas, and I drove around with the real-deal CSI guys,'' says Danson. ''I went to the coroner's office and saw an autopsy. They were holding somebody's skullcap while they weighed his brain. I still have to take my eyes out and wash them at night.'' Sept. 21

Speaking of Brass, do you think he will be punished in anyway for what he did, with the handcuffs? Or do you think since no one really knows about it, it will be swept under the rug, so to speak?
Well, at this point, the only two people who know about what he did are Brass and Langston. It may be that Langston will take sole responsibility for what happened, and if there is no other evidence or plausible explanation pointing to Brass, then that's where it will stay. It seems that Catherine was the only one who suspected Brass, but if she can't prove anything, then she's left with nothing but suspicions.Speaking of Brass, do you think he will be punished in anyway for what he did, with the handcuffs?
