First, a much-anticipated (but all-too-brief) appearance by Gil Grissom and now Lady Heather! EW has learned that Melinda Clarke will reprise her popular role as a steamy dominatrix for a CSI episode that’ll air in April.

The (mother-of-a) story: Human pets are at the center of an investigation by the CSI team. Apparently, a murder occurs within a strange offshoot of the dominatrix world in which rich people pay human beings to be their “pets” (gulp). Lady Heather, now Dr. Lady Heather, becomes professionally involved in the case. The episode was written by CSI creator Anthony E. Zuiker and Ed Whitmore.

Clarke last played the role of Lady Heather for the CBS drama in ”Leave Out All the Rest” that aired in November, 2008. She’s now a regular on CW’s Nikita. The actress told EW earlier today that she’s feeling pretty optimistic about another season of the butt-kicking drama.

Exclusive: CSI Vet Is Back With a Bang!

By Megan Masters

The return of serial killer Nate Haskell isn’t all bad for the Vegas crimefighters of CSI. Rather, his latest reign of terror will actually set the stage for the return of former series regular Louise Lombard!

TVLine has learned exclusively that the CSI alumna will reprise her role as the well-liked Sofia Curtis during May sweeps — and one major thing has changed since we last saw her back in Season 8.

“Sofia’s a deputy chief now,” executive producer Carol Mendelsohn reveals. “She’s gotten her shield and she has a real ‘take no prisoners’ attitude.”

As such, when Sofia gets introduced to Langston (Laurence Fishburne), things do not go smoothly.

“Langston becomes involved because Sofia wants to call in the feds, since they’ve now had Haskell sightings in Mexico and all over, which means he’s clearly not in Vegas. Of course, Langston begs to differ,” Mendelsohn previews. “The episode is really about where is Nate Haskell.”

“Sofia actually blames Langston and Catherine (Marg Helgenberger) for Haskell’s escape,” the showrunner continues. “And she blames Brass (Paul Guilfoyle).”

Ultimately, Brass blasts back, “‘Hate to rain on your tirade, Deputy Chief, but we’re not going catch Haskell debating ancient history.’” And presto, the team is reunited! Kind of.

As of now, Lombard is only set to appear in one episode, but seeing as Mendelsohn “loves Louise,” she tells TVLine with a knowing grin, “You may see her in the finale, too.”

From E!Online:

Maria: CSI?
Ruh-roh. Langston (Laurence Fishburne) may be going off the reservation in episode 21; he's going to buy a laptop and a gun from a pawn broker, and we're just wondering why a law enforcement agent would need an off-the-books computer and gun…

What are you hearing about the hunt for Nate Haskell on CSI? — Sherry
ADAM:
The search will take the team from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, where they will receive varying welcomes from the local PD. A territorial detective will have no use for Catherine, Langston and the team, especially after he learns that Langston is personally connected to Haskell's latest victim. Luckily, there's a young LAPD CSI who's willing to go the extra mile. Ironically, she's the estranged daughter of Conrad Ecklie (Marc Vann), the man who always made Gil Grissom's job harder than it needed to be.

Here's what else I know for episode 20:

Dr. Kole is shot and then chopped into pieces by Haskell and his harem... I mean wives. ;)

A man, Mr. Frost, visits Dr. Kole while on vacation from San Diego. Unfortunately for him, he is on the table when Haskell & his brides go on the rampage. Terrified and crying, he is taken hostage, forced to carry the bodies of Dr. Kole and his nurse first to his rented Porsche and later to an abandoned farmhouse before being brutally murdered and chopped into pieces.
